I had my nose pierced somewhere else while out of town and started having an issue with it bleeding nonstop. I reached out to InBloom to see if they could take a look at it, and they were quick to respond, which I appreciated. When I arrived, the receptionist told me they were really busy and that there were two people ahead of me, but that she would have the piercer take a quick look at my nose in about 10 minutes. This also matched what I could visibly see in the shop--there were only two parties waiting ahead of me when I got there. After the piercer finished with his previous client, he helped another customer with jewelry and then came over to me. He asked where I had gotten my piercing done so he could look up the shop, but didn't ask many questions about what had been happening. After looking at my nose, he said he thought the bar was too short and recommended changing it to a longer one. He then told me there would be a wait because he had two clients ahead of me. I completely understood and had no problem waiting. However, I ended up sitting there for a little over an hour and watched more than two clients get helped without anyone giving me an update. My nose was visibly bleeding, and no one let me know that the wait had changed. I just needed my bar changed. After a little over an hour I asked the receptionist how much longer it would be. She looked at her list and responded, "Well, there were a lot of people ahead of you when you got here, so you're looking at another hour." Her tone came across as snarky and dismissive, but I was also confused because that directly contradicted what I had been told. The receptionist told me there were two people ahead of me, the piercer told me the same thing, and I could physically see only two parties waiting when I arrived. So how did two people suddenly become "a lot of people" after I had already waited over an hour? I understand businesses get busy, appointments take priority, and wait times can change. That was never my issue. If the wait was actually going to be two hours or more, I simply should have been told. Instead, I waited based on the information I was given and then was spoken to as though I should have known there were "a lot" of people ahead of me all along. I also understand that the original issue with my piercing was not InBloom's fault. I had it done somewhere else and never expected them to take responsibility for another piercer's work. However, once they agreed to take me in as a client, evaluated the piercing, and recommended changing the jewelry, I expected basic customer service and communication just like any other client. What made it more frustrating was that I wasn't there just to browse jewelry or get something cosmetic done. I came in because my piercing was actively bleeding and I was concerned. Even a quick update would have been appreciated. Instead, I ultimately walked out without getting the issue resolved. I initially appreciated how quickly InBloom responded when I reached out, which is why the experience once I arrived was so disappointing. I can understand having to wait. What I can't understand is being told one thing multiple times, receiving no communication when that changed, and then getting a snarky response when I simply asked for an update. I came in on May 9th to get my left conch pierced (and came back May 16 to get my right conch and two flats done) I commented to my piercer Camilla that I thought the back of the piercing was too close to my head. She said no it's fine. Next week I had my right conch done by Kiki who did it right through my crease close to my earlobes. I asked her about the two different exit sites and was again told it was fine, both were normal. I began having issues with piercing bumps and came in a few times and Camilla looked at them both times and said there was nothing that could be done except after care as I had been doing (saline spray twice daily) the right piercing bump wasn't too bad, but the left kept getting really big and popping and that ear was very sensitive. I waited a few weeks as I had to go out of state to visit family, but Saturday July 25th I decided to go see an APP certified piercer at a different shop. After taking a look at them she said they were both done at incorrect angles. The left being the worst and unsavable, so it had to be removed (it was starting to embed into the side of my head. The jewelry ended up being lower quality as well, and my right one just had to be changed out and the bar shortened.) I now have to wait at least 3-6 months to see if it is able to be re-pierced. I am very disappointed in the quality of work I received at In bloom's shop considering I spent a few hundred $ and tipped my piercers generously. I hope they double check with their suppliers on their "titanium" jewelry to ensure they are indeed using implant grade titanium to ensure others don't have issues down the line. Best experience ever and better than I could have ever imagined. Took my daughters, both under 10, to get their ears pierced. Arrived to the most vibey shop I've ever been to. Tattoos, piercings, and plants- totally my element. The process was super easy and seamless. Did consent forms via my phone and QR code. Uploaded all the necessary documents which was super easy. They had two piercers in today so they both pierced a lobe at the same time making it quick and efficient for the kids. Alex and Kiki were very informative and gentle with my girls. I would give this place zero stars if I could. I've had multiple piercings done in different places and typically the service offers a checkup or the piercer invites me to come back if there's issues. This place is NOT like that. The kid with longer, dark is very inexperienced to the point he replied "I guess." When I asked if he could do a piercing. I would never get a piercing done by someone like that. So do not go to him because two people I know have had issues with their piercings after being pierced by him. My brother got his first piercing here so he has no experience with piercings. His threaded jewelry kept falling out which isn't supposed to happen. We felt the jewelry was defective and tried to get assistance. The same guy told us that we were wrong and he was totally dismissive. He wouldn't even offer a resolution. He screamed at my sister to "Shut up." When we tried to get the issue resolved. We went to speak to the manager and he jumped into the conversation. It would be great if he learned some professionalism in the workplace. In the end, they tried to charge us $40 to put the jewelry back in. Which is interesting because they charged us $25 before. So they up prices depending on their mood. My takeaway is to never go back here and go to a piercing place with experiences piercers who understand that customer service is important to run a business rather than sticking to your pride. I've went to Kiki for two of my piercings, the tragus and my rook. She's super sweet and informative. She explains every type of the process and gave me paperwork with instructions to help me with the healing process. The store was extremely clean too, zero complaints!! I went in a month or two ago to ask her about my piercing. She told me it's still doing good and gave me a recipe for aspirin paste to help with any bumps. The most recent piercing I got was the tragus in January. I plan on getting 4 more soon to get me to 21. I highly recommend Kiki I'll be coming back for my next two! read more

After the piercing was done, the dot was still there. I was hoping it wasn't going to be a big deal but now that I've changed the ring my piercing looks huge. I came here to get my ears pierced after I stopped wearing earrings for a loooong time. I got them pierced at Claire's when I was younger but I wanted to go to a professional to get it done this time around. I was helped by Zack who was extremely kind and helpful. He answered all my questions, dumb or not, and I especially appreciated his insights on how piercings and keloids are related. Zack was very positive and made the experience easy and quick. A plus is that the store was clean so I didn't feel uncomfortable at all. I don't think I'll get more piercings, but I definitely recommend this place to others who want more. read more

This is the absolutely the worst place ever to get ur piercings done... stay away from the young boy there he has shaggy hair at least 6ft tall....absolutely the worst does not know how to do nose piercing or belly... we had to go back more than three times to get the piercing redone and the jewelry was defective or he didn't know or trained to put in the jewelry proper so the first time we paid the price for jewelry and piercing which was $60 2nd time to redo was $5 for change out also repierce don't again... 3 rd time was charge for another $40 for repierce due the defective jewelry falling out... when we tired to have a resolution none was offered to my son... When we came this last time to resolve problem the young boy who did the piercings kept on interfering with the manager decision. He kept on yelling and my young daughter who was there he kept on telling her to shut up so I got upset and I said who r telling to shut up he's like I'm telling her to shut up, meaning my daughter so this is the kind of parenting that was given to this young boy to speak disgusting behavior to young ladies...he flinched at my daughters...so I stepped in...I stopped instantly still try to talk to the manager to just fix the issue with my son...so he said he was going to call the police I said go ahead... he never did all this stuff he tired to his scare tactics, didn't work....never again will we go there and if anyone ask do not go to this establishment very very poor.... My experience with Mikey at InBloom was amazing. I brought my six year old daughter for her first ear piercing. Mikey, also a parent, was amazing with her. He was willing to walk her through his body modifications and answer all of her (very innocent but slightly invasive) questions. The piercing went great, she was a bit nervous after the first ear, but he was so calm and allowed me and her to work together before we got her second side. All of the staff did a great job offering her a treat and something to hold onto. I could not have asked for a better experience for her. I also got my cartilage pierced, at which point Mikey suggested I only do one side. I am SO grateful for this suggestion, as it allowed me to be able to sleep on one side while the other was healing. I would suggest anyone come visit Mikey for their children or themselves. Also important to note we came in on a quiet day, thankfully there was no one else there, which allowed the additional time my daughter needed. I would suggest requesting an appointment time when there isn't a big line if you are bringing your child. I can't wait for my piercing to heal so I can get the other side done! Had an appointment for a tattoo and received the quote for how much. Arrived day of tattoo early to be safe, was asked to change appointment time 3 times!!! 10:30 then 1 then asked for 2:15!!! That's 3 hours of waiting and I come out of town too so we scheduled it for the next day, same thing 10:45/11 appointment the artist was running behind fine. We get to deciding the placement and size and they say they're drawing it up and try to change the price and overall just cancelled the appointment. Decided on a whim that I wanted to get my ears pierced today! I called to see if I could walk in for ear piercings and they said yes. The piercer (I believe its Kiki based off what she wrote on my paper) was really nice and she talked me through the process. It took about 20 min for the whole process because she took the time to sanitize everything and make sure that she marked the right spot. It didn't hurt as much as I expected and I'm really happy with how fast and easy she made it. The place is really clean! They definitely took major precautions because of COVID. Pain scale for me on my daith piercing was a 4 more pressure tha pain. Gal there was fast knew what she was doing. I was out in less than 10 mins. I've been cleaning it 3 times a day so my healing process has been good so far, but the area is very sore to the touch. Definitely recommend!
