I went in looking to get a small black tattoo and they quoted it at $120! Their minimum price is $100 which is outrageous compared to other locations in the surrounding area. When I left I called around in the area and the average price they were quoting me was $50 for the exact same tattoo. Also, the guy who was helping me was visibly stoned and I obviously would not have let him get near me with a tattoo gun....very unprofessional and not willing to work with me at all. read more

Warning: STAY AWAY !!! My wife wanted a Tattoo on her lower back so we sent the photo of a Tattoo she wanted to Blue Moon. Something monochromatic, has elegenat vine design with 2 Yin Yang which was a must for her. We discussed it with the Tattoo artist "Juan" in detail. I left the photo on their screen computer and instructed Juan to refer to it before I left to run for some errands. Guess what !!! When I came back to pick up my wife the Tattoo was now multi-colored, tribal and missing some details and missing both Yin Yang design !!! I asked why Juan did not follow the design still on their computer screen. Juan said "I try not to copy other people's design" ... I cant believe what I heard !!! We stormed out ! Went back a few days to have the manager correct the situation. Discussed what transpired in detail. Heard a lot of B S and fake sympathy but manager refused to pay for minor corrections we requested. I was adamant on filing a lawsuit which has no chance of losing. But my wife talked me out of it out of pity to these arrogant so called artists. Too bad there's no lower rating than 1 Star. You've been Warned !!! read more

I love this place!! I did a ton of research at a lot of places before settling on this one. The first time I went, I got my belly button and cartilage pierced by Charming. He was very funny and made me very relaxed about everything. Everything was clean and done properly. I came back a couple months later after deciding to get my nipples pierced. This is the only place I trusted fully! I got my nipples pierced by Mikey. He didn't use clamps and he did it free-handed which made me nervous but they came out perfectly. Mikey made me feel very comfortable and eased any nerves I had. I have many piercings and this has been my favorite. I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone. I recently was tattooed by Zack. It was a great experience from the start. I had previously asked a local artist to draw a piece to cover two existing tattoos and was never gotten back to after several requests. During a brief conversation with Bret, the manager at Blue Moon, he said I should have Zack draw something up. What would it hurt? He got the drawing back to me the same day. It was beautiful! We made a few alterations and after several visits my piece is near completion. (I'm somewhat of a sissy, and can only take a few hours at a time) The staff is fun and friendly, but very professional. I would trust any of them to work on me anyday. Piss test for 30 is worthless shit does not keep it's heat it's the second time it had failed

For the last 15 years I have suffered from excessive migraines - experiencing around 20 a month. A friend came to Bluemoon to have her daith pierced and reported that it greatly decreased her migraines. I decided I had nothing to lose, and would give it a try. The tattoo artist who worked with me was very helpful - he explained what he would be doing and how to care for my piercing afterward. The actual piercing hurt much less than I thought it would and the best part - my migraines immediately went way down in number to only 2 or 3 per month. It's been 3 months and the migraines are still at 2 - 3 a month. This has been life changing for me! I haven't had any problems with infection, as I continue to use a spray to cleanse my piercing daily. I would definitely recommend Bluemoon to anyone wanting a piercing. read more

After months of searching high and low for a place in Tracy I felt confident going into blue moon. I've wanted my tongue pierced for as long as I can remember and I was beyond scared to finally be doing it...but I'll tell you what, Mikey did an absolutely amazing job and going forward I will only be seeing him for any piercing work.
