A super casual place for some quick food. Ordering at the front was fast, and the cashier was nice. The food overall was decent. I particularly enjoyed the Aam Palak Chaat and the Dal Makhani the most!

Craving the Chicken Tikka Kati Roll, Tandoor cooked chicken, topped with our signature sauce and IndAroma never disappoints. Placed my order via UE for pick-up and waited about five minutes for my fresh Kati rolls. Delicious. I opted for the mint chutney to accompany my rolls. Lots of customers picking up take-away orders.

After enjoying a spring walk in the nearby Greenspring gardens park, I stopped by IndAroma for lunch. Thankfully I walked in right before the lunch rush on a Sunday. It was pretty empty when I went in but got fully packed when I got my food. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The man standing at the counter was courteous and handed me the menu. I ended up getting the Tandoori chicken, garlic Naan and my wife got Chicken Tikka masala. The utensils and beverage is self-serve but they bring your food out to your table. There are indoor and outdoor seating available. I think my favorite item from this visit was the garlic naan. It was by far one of the best naan I have ever had in my life. It was so fluffy, chewy, buttery, perfect amount of crisp at the bottom and had the perfect balance of garlic and butter. The tandoori chicken was quite spicy for my taste, but the chicken was very tender and cooked to perfection. The portion size here is pretty good for the price point. I ended up taking some leftovers because of the generous portions. When I crave Indian food, IndAroma will be on my list.

We were out in the suburbs and heard about this place. It's situated in an updated strip mall but really has a modern-chic vibe. The restaurant is on the smaller side (cafe-like) and we were seated at the last available table. If you're planning on arriving in a group this is probably not the place. Although, I did see they did there best to manage seating and accommodate larger parties The menu is diverse and has light yet filling offerings. There were definitely many items that wouldn't see at other Indian based restaurants. Also their preparation of many favorites are not run of the mill. I would say the portions are smaller than expected but definitely filling. I also enjoyed that it's not the vibe is not typical of your every day Indian restaurant. Although there is table seating and someone can take your order at the table, you can also order at the counter. Utensils, napkins, and water pitchers are all self serve. However none of it was plastic so it was a fun and convenient way. Feels like this establishment is more of a cafe, but don't let that discourage you from trying it. In fact it's a must try if you're in the area or seeking more of what the Indian diaspora has to offer.

Our first time trying this restaurant. We ordered Chicken Biryani and Chicken Tandoori with a Naan. The order arrived on time. The Chicken Tandoori was delicious, but the Biryani was just average -- and surprisingly, it came with boneless chicken. Traditionally, biryani should have bone-in chicken, so that was disappointing. The main reason I'm giving a 3-star review is because of the poor customer service from one staff member. As soon as we took our first bite, an older gentleman approached us in a very rude and disrespectful tone, saying: "YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR THE DRINK." I had already spent nearly $50 on food -- did he really think I was going to run off without paying for a $3 Fanta? Of course, I was going to pay, but the way he said it completely ruined our experience. There was no sign saying we had to pre-pay for drinks, and his approach felt unnecessary and unprofessional. What made it worse is that my wife, who wears a hijab, felt singled out. It left us questioning whether his behavior was simply bad service or something more personal. Either way, it was rude and uncalled for. Unfortunately, because of that interaction, we will not be coming back -- even though the food itself had some highlights.

Nice little casual spot for home style Indian food. I went with a work group for lunch. I ordered the curry chicken and I was worried it would be too hot but the man at the counter who took my order said the heat can be modified to my taste. You go to your table and they bring the food to you. It is served in a bowl of the chicken and broth with rice on the side. It was flavorful and spicy but not to the point that I needed a pitcher of water. They portion was big for my lunch, so doggy bag for me. I'd def recommend if I'm in the neighborhood again.

If you're looking for some Indian food, this is the place to go. As soon as you walk in, you smell the authenticity; it's also filled with native customers. It's clean and the staff are kind. Most importantly, the food was AMAZING. I've tried a handful of different Indian places and safe to say, they had THE BEST biryani, samosa, lassi, and more. Chicken Biryani (10/10) : - PACKED with flavor & spices - comes with one white sauce - lot of juicy flavorful chicken underneath the rice Samosa (9/10) : - comes with 2 sauces, I don't know what it is but compliments the samosa perfectly - crunchy outside and soft inside. Lassi Mango (9/10) : - too expensive for portion ($6) - still worth it if you're craving it - thick, sweet, and most importantly, fresh Garlic Naan (8/10) : - soft, warm, and savory - light hint of garlic (could use more garlic) Overall, IndAroma exceeded my expectations, would def visit again.

"I'm so glad I found IndAroma! It's definitely going to become my go-to restaurant for Indian food. The service was friendly, and the Chicken Tikka Masala was amazing - it had a lot of chicken and was really rich and creamy. I also highly recommend ordering the garlic naan as a side - it was so buttery and soft! The Tandoori chicken took the longest to come out, and it was a little too spicy for my taste. Just a heads up - the utensils and beverages are self-serve.

I'll start by prefacing that I'm married at an India man, so I eat Indian food on a regular basis. We ordered Chaat Papdi, Palak Paneer and Paneer Makhani. The Chaat Papdi was okay - in my opinion it had way too much yogurt which over saturated the taste. The Palak Paneer was SO BLAND! Which was very disappointing as it's usually one of my favorite dishes to order at Indian restaurants. Not a hint of garlic or onion flavor in it whatsoever. The Paneer Makhani was actually really good! It was creamy and flavorful and I'd definitely order it again. Also, the Gulab Jamun Cheesecake was delicious and is definitely worth trying! It's unique as I've never had anything like it before, so if you like Gulab Jamun and Cheesecake as two separate things, there's a high possibility that you'll enjoy it fused together.

The food here is so good and it comes out so fast, they do a good job of making it not spicy if you don't want it spicy but it's a bit pricey. You have to set the table for yourself but they deliver the food to you, it's like a cafe style

A coworker suggested I check this place out. I finally found some time to visit IndAroma and I'm glad I did. I ordered the chicken tikka masala and the tandoori salmon. The chicken tikka masala was flavorful. The chicken was tender and the sauce was not spicy at all. The tandoori salmon was okay but not my favorite. I ordered it based off the images I saw online. Perhaps it looked a little different because my order was a take out order instead of a dine in order. The salmon was cooked fine but based off of looks it the appearance was lacking. Overall I enjoyed my food and look forward to visiting the restaurant again.

Arrived at 11:35am on a weekend. Entered, place was empty, we thought it would be a quick and attentive service. Not the case. It all so happens to be just one server and she was assisting in the back preparing take out/pick up orders. We sat at least 12-15 mins before she came to acknowledge us. We immediately let her know we had the Groupon to use. She let us know that it was a buffet style service and pointed us in that direction to take a look. We also browsed the menu but for the very little amount we eat, we thought it was best to try the buffet out which really only had 5 items. She allowed us that option even knowing we had the Groupon. We had to wave her down for water. She never came to check on us. She seemed very overwhelmed and without clear direction. Our Groupon was worth $40 of food for two. Just getting two plates from the buffet was $35. We were done and ready to pay. Well that's when she told us that she could not accept the Groupon because the buffet was not included and it had to be from the menu. We contested that she gave us that as an option which for all we knew it was an easier solve for them to not have to cook individual meals and just have us get food from the buffet that was already out and served (they seemed busy with take out orders). She continued to state that she could not accept the Groupon. We asked for a manager or someone else, who seemed to be in the back cooking. He proceeded to let us know that she was new, did not know, made a mistake and they still will not accept the Groupon because what we ate was less than the worth. We asked what needed to be done in order for that to happen and they requested we order more food yet he still wanted us to pay out of pocket since we ate a plate each from the buffet. Anyhow, the service was terrible. The manager or staff that came from the kitchen was extremely rude and demeaning even when the server gave us the wrong information. The food was ok, edible but I've had better, the dining in experience was horrible and complete lack of customer service and attention. We got rice putting to make up for the amount they wanted us to reach. We left them at the table as we really did not care for any more food. The salt and pepper shakers are also sticky and dirty. Train your employees properly to avoid these mishaps.

So, since I was looking for Pizza, the Butter Chicken Pizza caught my eye and instantly made me craving for it. Unfortunately, it was too late the night that I found them on Yelp, so I had to wait a couple of days. I knew generally where they were located, but had no idea that they were nestled a couple doors down from the Harris Teeter I have been going to for years. Even knowing the address, I passed by the first time as it doesn't stand out among the other businesses in the strip mall. Upon walking in, I saw that the place is clean and I was immediately greeted by the gentleman at the register. Still craving the idea of Butter Chicken on a Pizza, how could I order anything else? Well, when I noticed that they also sell momos, I also ordered Chicken Momos. The sound of a Mint Cherry Lemonade spurred my curiosity as well, so that topped off my order. The steamed momos took a little bit of time to make, so I was given my lemonade in the meantime...at my request. It is pretty amazing...but, you may want to ask for extra ice as it is very sweet and very sour at the same time...but is made fresh from real fruit and muddled mint. After about 10min, my order was ready, and somehow I was able to resist the urge to open the bag before my ten minute drive home. I have to admit, at first sight, the size to price ratio seemed to be off balance. The Butter Chicken flatbread pizza is not that big. Personal sized is appropriate...but the size is deceptive. Every bite of this little Pizza was amazing. It was like Butter Chicken and Pizza were made to be paired...with a generous amount of mozzarella marrying the two together. The chicken, the sauce, the cheese, the spice, the flatbread, the caramelized edges...all make for an amazing experience. After finishing the last bite of the last slice, I was unexpectedly, and pleasantly full. So, that size to price ratio? For such a unique and amazing Pizza, I think it's appropriately priced. The momos I had to save for the next day, but they too were amazing. For those unfamiliar with momos, the dumplings themselves are not that different from other Asian dumplings except that they tend to be fully stuffed and with higher quality meat. What sets momos apart is the sauce which is rich and flavorful...not just soy sauce like so many other asian dumplings. In this case, the sauce is a rich, creamy, spicy tomato sauce...and it paired perfectly with the chicken momos. They too seemed to be too few to make a meal, but I was wrong. Totally full afterwards with smile a mile wide. Will I be back? Uh...I would have gone back every day afterwards if I didn't want to ruin a good thing!
