I randomly selected Ballor towing after waiting for over 3 hours with AAA, with no response in the…read moreapp, except to say they were experiencing delays and that they were trying to connect me to a service. We were locked out of our running car, so I decided to call Ballor, on my own. Sue, the dispatcher, was extremely kind and understanding, sharing it could be an hour or more, given the cold weather and number of service calls in front of us, but she felt bad for us and said she would do her best to prioritize us, given our situation. I got a call back from her within 10 min to say she was able to add us to a route, and that a truck was in bound from about 10 miles out. The roadside tech arrived within 15 min and had our car open with 60 seconds. He then offered to stay to help me push our car out of the snow if I needed help, knowing a toe or hook-up would be overkill and not needed. I was able to free up our car and we were on our way. So, thank you, Sue and Ballor team! Start to finish, fantastic, friendly and compassionate experience. NOTE: I cancelled AAA in the app, which then prompted them to call me for the first time in nearly 4 hours. When asked why I cancelled, I laughed and shared Ballor bailed us out and kept in regular comms with us, throughout the process. As much as we all hope to avoid needing roadside service, I feel good that I now have a reliable, very reasonably priced, local team to help me and my family, when needed. Even after helping me with directions (which I'm sure was a bit annoying) he told me to call back if I get lost again. Which made me feel as though, they are truly there to help.
