My mom suggested this establishment to me, meanwhile, they were more than likely screwing her left and right. BIG L going to this place. For anything! Took my car in for a pull to the left, and oil change. They told me I had "5-8 small holes in my oil pan" and the oil that had leaked had built up around the motor and created a cake, and that if they were to spray it all off and then try to identify the leaks it would become a real issue and I should just get my oil pan replaced and the rack and pinion as well because all that leaked oil got all over that and ruined it.......lol As far as the pull to the left..... They "fixed" it, I paid, and I took off down the road. (Not caring about my "leak") Less than a mile......and it's still pulling to the left. I called to let them know I was coming back, and immediately returned...... then, without him even looking at my car, or getting into it.... He assured me that they did their best and there was nothing more that they could do...... WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!!! I rely pretty heavily on Yelp reviews when I am choosing a new business. I was pretty hesitant at even attempting this establishment when reading the Yelp reviews but took a chance due to only thinking I had a very minor problem. My "minor problem" ended up as needing all of my breaks replaced from rust that they showed me and took pictures of to document the issue. The rust (dang these crazy winters and all of the salt on the roads) had probably been slowly but surely causing many other problems with my car. I was so happy they found it and were able to completely fix my car at a reasonable price for such a Hefty task in a very reasonable amount of time. The staff was friendly towards me and had no problem with communication. I received this service 2 weeks ago and everything has run smoothly since. I am specifically writing this review not because anyone went above and beyond, but just to let everyone know that the other reviews here were not my experience and my experience was nothing but easy and pleasant. read more

So I've been coming to this place for years. Decent service, reasonable prices I guess. Today I came in for an oil change, battery changed, and to have my brakes looked at because they've been making a loud squeaking noise for a few days. It is a Saturday and the shop closes at 3. Came in around 11, had the oil and battery changed, and was then told that the brake pads and rotors needed to be replaced. Um, okay. Got a ride back home since they said it'd take a few hours. Get a phone call from them much earlier than expected saying the car was ready and that I needed to come immediately because they wanted to close the shop. They hurried me so much that they sent out one of their mechanics to come get me. Wow, okay, sure. Get to the shop and these guys are still looking at my car. Asked what was up and was rudely told to "wait" with one finger pointed at my face. You rush me over here and tell me to wait??? Okay, whatever, as long as the noise is gone. So, $600 later I get in my car and these guys are antsy to leave. It's about 2 at this point. Car won't start. I'm appalled. Never happened to me before in my life. They tried to tell me my gas gauge is messed up and that I'm out of gas. A half a tank of gas later, it still won't start. This is the part where I've never been more disrespected in my life. The supervisor tells me that I'm out of luck and I'll have to wait until Monday to get it fixed, implying they had nothing to do with the problem. Are you serious???? I have never had a problem like this before and suddenly after you guys touch it, it won't even start so I can leave the shop?? I'm now sitting in their empty parking lot with a broken car that they ruined, waiting for a ride BECAUSE THEY ALL LEFT. Mind you, the shop doesn't close until over a half an hour from now. Moral of the story: DONT EVER TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. They're rude as fuck and will put their convenience over everything. WOW. read more

This looks to be the standard 'run-of-the-mill' kind of auto shop... however each time I go there, I feel that there is more to this place that meets the eye. Yes, you can get your oil changed in less than 15 minutes, however they can also perform many other services that your vehicle needs. They've got 5 car bays to take your car in and get it worked on... and heck, in one case one of the technicians that was working on my car warned me of a potential leak that I hadn't seen. Sure enough, less than a week later, it had reared its ugly head and things got bad. Luckily I knew exactly what the problem was and knew exactly how to fix it by then. My favorite go to guy is Brian... he's there supporting his little girl, and is always there to tell you like it is. He's not going to sell you on something you don't need. Also, if you go into the gas station right on the corner in front of it, there are always coupons for discounts on their services here! read more

This guy is flat out a CROOK! Took my vehicle here years ago for warranty work because my employer at the time took his fleet vehicles here. The service manager treated me horrible so I decided to not even have them work on my car. Upset about how I was treated I left a negative review and this crook called my boss, who asked me to take the review down and leave a positive one. Well I no longer work there. Who doesn't dread having to take their car in for repairs, and worry about being overcharged-- or worse, have the shop find imaginary things wrong with your car that cost a fortune? I just started working in Sterling Heights, and was looking for a reputable shop in the area to take my Jeep for a tune up and maintenance repairs. Based on Yelp reviews, I went online and made an appointment with Quality. Almost immediately received a phone call from a Manager, who set up an appointment for me, and quoted an estimate for my repairs. Top Quality not only did what they said that they were going to do, but they did MORE than I expected for the price. They completed maintenance that the dealer should have been completing when I was taking the Jeep in for oil changes over the past 2 years. They completed the Repairs in a timely way, and gave me an accurate ETA on when I could expect to pick up the car. My car feels like it runs better than it did when it was new. I got a very fair price for good, timely work from a friendly, reliable shop. I will be recommending Top Quality to anyone who asks, and will be a long time, repeat customer. read more

Don't go unless you want to get scammed. We have been bringing cars here for quite awhile and first things went fine back in 2010-2012. 2013 Brought a 2003 intrepid on in and got the all clear everything was going good, wasted over 500 dollars on tune ups and repairs to only have the car stall out on me driving it two weeks later. A buddy of mine from another auto store told me Intrepid was totaled and nothing could be done besides a new motor. "Top Quality" Isn't what I was offered. 2014 comes around and my parents stuck with the place, brought in a 2002 Cavalier which was my sisters in, and the dash board was tampered with and wires were sticking out of the dash, brought it back up and they refused and said nothing was done, and blamed it on us. The air now doesn't work and the electrical on the dash has been acting funky. Top quality will only screw you over in the process. read more

My family and I live close door and always take our cars for repairs. The lug nuts on one of my cars were too tight, and I stopped by to have one of their mechanics loosen them up a little. They asked for $20 for 30sec job. I was going to give the mechanic that much to begin with. When u go here they mess up your car more. They are scandalous and charge triple. Worst mechanic I've ever took my car to. I paid 1650 for a strut change($440) and couple control arms (u can get the ENTIRE suspension for 600.) And my car came back with all kinds of problems. They also cracked my perfectly good side skirt while lifting the car up because they didn't lift it properly. I paid them what they asked and ended up with more to spend. Brought a used car here for an inspection prior to making the decision to purchase for our niece. I called in the morning to check if I needed to call ahead. I was told just to come in, they would be able to check it out fairly quick (another shop said it would depend on their workload). Since I needed to have the car checked out that day, I came to Top Quality around 4:30. True to what I was told earlier in the day, they put the car up for inspection within 5 minutes of our arrival. After 10 minutes, we had our report (lucky for us it checked out). Since we lease cars and have not needed major repairs, I was unsure what to expect.
