Stopped in here this evening. The store clerk was really friendly, and the store was clean and well organized. I wasn't blown away with their selection, but I found everything that I wanted. Frozen Rasmalai- $9.95 Lentils (they had many varieties)- $3.49 Pistu Kulfi- $1.50 single servings Thumbs Up Cola- $1.99 They have a good variety of rice and spices. I also saw they had frozen goat meat. I have no idea how to make goat curry, but it's nice to know they carry it. When I was checking out I noticed they carried Cadbury ladyfingers which are THE BEST but since I was already buying so much sweet stuff I decided to hold off and buy those on my next visit. read more

I love everything about this store. They have all your indian basics, from chutneys to snacks to every frozen bread type, prepared sauce packets, huge bags of grains and legumes and of course an incredible array of spices. You'd be a fool to buy spices anywhere else with the prices they have here. Prices in general are amazing and the owners are so sweet and kind. They are almost always there, I hope someday they can afford to pay someone else and take some time off! I am able to regularly impress people with my "indian cooking" thanks to all the goodies I get at this store. They make things so easy. read more

Very nice owner! I just needed chillis for a Thai dish, and they had them. But they only do credit for $10 or more, and these were only $1.50. As I was trying to figure out what to do, the guy says: "I got an idea, just pay me next time, I never worry about these things". If only I weren't moving I might become a regular, but someone can take my place! read more

This is the best indian grocery I've been to in the Denver area. They carry a solid selection of indian/regional groceries. I stocked up on Maggi! They also have a nice selection of refrigerated goods. They stock pantua made by a local family and it's really good. It's very clean and well-organized, and the items stocked seem to be as fresh as you can expect. read more

So happy we discovered this place! Boulder definitely needs more small, locally-owned shops like this. Went hunting for whole spices to make garam masala (for vindaloo, makhani, etc) and found everything we needed here. The store is well organized, for the most part, but is still a work in progress as I believe the owner stated he has only been open for about a year and runs the entire shop himself. Prices were Very reasonable, especially considering the mass quantity of spices, tamarind, fresh paneer, rose water, etc that we walked out with. It would have easily cost us 4x the amount we spent in any Boulder grocery store for these specialty items. He has some items like Italian olive oil, balsamic vinegar, louisiana spice mixtures (random, I know), a small handful of mediterranean goods (i.e. jarred grape leaves), a frozen section with pre-made indian items, as well as every indian pickle, sauce, spice, etc that you can think of. The owner is warm and welcoming, he approached us to ask if we needed help, but left us alone to wander around when we let him know that was all part of the fun =). He also asked for our feedback when we checked out, good and bad since he's interested in making any improvements to the store that his customers might need. Go check this place out! read more

Great little Indian grocery. Very clean with a good selection of spices, rice, lentils and other basics of South Asian cooking. The fresh green chillies were of excellent quality. ALL I need now is to find a Good/Steady supply of FRESH GREEN CURRY LEAVES and hot fresh peppers and I can make Chicken 65 every week. Solid selection of dry and canned goods (spices, curry powder, flours, ghee, etc.), but the fresh produce is pretty sparse. They've got the basics (curry leaves, peppers) but I had to swing by a big box grocery store to round out the veggies for the meal I was making. $10 minimum on cards, FYI. read more

This is the best Indian Grocery Store in Boulder County... and I tried them all. Very clean and the items are fresh and move frequently from the shelves. Also, all of their items are marked with prices not like some other Indian grocers who don't price mark their items. I've been getting my seasoning and specialty items there for years. I am a foodie and cook Indian cuisine as well as other world cuisines. They have a variety of spices, herbs, flours, dals/lentils, beans, grains, rice, and much, much more that can be used in any cuisine of the world... it's not just for Indian cooking. Muhammad is the owner and runs it with his family. He is very nice and always makes me feel welcomed when I'm shopping. I always feel like I'm visiting a good long time friend.
