Had the veggie wrap, it was not good. Very small potato patty inside, and mostly lettuce. A few leaves of cilantro, two small pieces of onion and tomato. Not properly made, as described per menu. The best spot in Dallas to grab a quick bite of Indian food. It's a fast, efficient, casual place to get a quick, delicious bite to eat. No, they don't have a buffet - which means the food is freshly prepared and delicious. The people that work here are absolutely great at recommending something you like. A lot of the food is moderately spicy, but they seem to be able to increase or tone down the heat on almost any dish. All the entrees come with either an "a la carte" or as a "dinner" option. The a la carte includes an entree with either rice or naan. The dinner is the entree, with rice, naan, dal (a lentil soup), and a cucumber salad. They usually also have one or two dishes that are specials where you get most of the dinner entree for an a la carte. Every time I come here, I always have enough left over for lunch the next day too. Highly recommend this spot! Definitely one of the best Indian restaurants in Dallas. read more

This was my girlfriend and I first time at this restaurant. We see it quite often on our route to work and finally found a chance to come in. We ordered take out and it took roughly 10-15 minutes - the main thing we were waiting for was the pizza. The service there was great! Very helpful with the menu and suggestions. Takeout orders take a while (waited 45+min) so make sure you call ahead of possible. Been coming here for years with my daughters, and always leave happy! We love the great Indian food from the menu (no buffet), and the occasional special that looks enticing (posted on a small board inside the front door). Bollywood movies playing on the tv are always too loud - but that's part of coming here, so be warned but that should not keep you away. My co-worker brought me here for lunch and ever since then I am hooked on this place. I tried out many other Indian restaurants and am always referencing back to ICC about how good the food is. My favorite dishes are Chicken Korma, Saag Paneer and Chicken Tikka Kabab. The Chicken Korma comes with a delicious cashew cream sauce. It goes well with rice and naan. The sauce looks similar to yellow curry, but it's not. If you can't handle spicy curry, then this will be your best dish to order. The Saag Paneer is another great veggie dish. The spinach complements well with the Indian cheese. It didn't taste heavy on the cheese; rather, it tasted light and had a good flavor to it. The chicken Tikka Kabab presented with a sizzling iron plate. As the dish is being brought to the table, you can see the burning smoke which smells incredibly appetizing and makes your mouth water! Coming from Austin, I'll be a little generous with this review. Really miss casual chat places like these in Austin. They had me @ Indian style pizza ! I didn't see anything else on the menu. I ordered the one with paneer, onions & pepper. Really liked it, enjoyed he spices on it - but didn't love the sauce. Friends ordered chhole puri, Pani puri and were very happy with their choices. Except for one who ordered biryani, although expecting a chat place to make Great Biryani is unrealistic. Portions were good size. When our food finally arrived, we were both happily surprised at how big the portion sizes were -- especially for the price! As for taste: my butter chicken totally hit the spot. Not sure why it's taken me so long to write a review for this place! It has long been a go-to when I'm in Dallas, but being here in the age of covid, it has become an absolute staple. Encouraging to see that the staff are always wearing masks, both in the kitchen and front-of-house. The restaurant is kept clean - and from what I can tell, the kitchen is as well. Employees are kind and accommodating. If you call & pay ahead, they'll even bring your order straight to the car. It feels like a "safe" place to order take-out during these times. Though we've never had a dish we didn't enjoy here, the samosas w/ red chutney, veggie korma, and paneer tikka masala are stand-outs and never disappoint. Kheer for dessert is also a treat. My husband and I are moving into the neighborhood so we stopped in for dinner. I got the "Butter Chicken": boneless cubes of chicken cooked in a tomato and cream based sauce. My husband got the "Chicken Tikka Kabob": marinated chicken breast cooked in a clay oven. I'm not sure who said they did not get enough for their money. They must have ordered something else. (See my photos). My husbands came with three plates. One with naan and lentils, one with rice and cuke salad. Mine came with naan and cuke salad. I went to get an entree and some Desi pizza on Monday night and I was one of only 4 non-Desis there. As much as an ethnic ratio like that disappoints me (come on white, black, Hispanic and Asian folks, patronize places like this) I also take it as a good sign. Indian chaat place with pretty good street food. I'm always looking for those down-home places that don't shy away from the spice just because they want to attract more people. We ordered fish curry which came with rice, naan and a cucumber salad-all for $8. We also got aloo tikki chaat and pani puri, mango and salt lassi. Every thing was great, except I expected the fish curry to be spicier. Maybe because it was a special of the day, but really thats the only taste complaint I have. The pani puri was the best I've had outside India and I've been here for over 15 years. Reason for lack of 1 star was the fish curry and the music was too loud. I have always enjoyed Chaat as my local Indian curry spot. Got curb side to-go today and was very impressed. Food was delivered contactless in my trunk by a young man wearing mask and gloves. The food was tasty as ever, nice and warm and the portions were almost too large. Ate too much and I'm in my happy place. Place gets pack on Friday night with Indian people, that's how you know it's good Indian food. The first time I got the lamb biryani which was good but not enough lamb, was mainly rice. The lamb was really good tho. This second time I got the lamb korma, so good. This is my favorite thing here so far. Service is fast and friendly. Very fresh food, great selection and tastes like homemade. And the price seemed very reasonable. We had more than enough for two people. Ordered the shrimp curry and chicken vindaloo. Both were not very authentic tasting, but seemed more catered to a western palate. Absolute shit. I'm a vegetarian and decided to get a takeout order of a daily special of paneer tikka masala with rice,naan, cucumber salad and dal included. I come home and my friends order is right (she got chole) I bite into my bite and swallow and feel funky. It's chicken. Absolutely unacceptable. When I called the guy was so rude and said we don't do refunds you have to bring back the whole thing and we can give you a new meal. I wanted my money and a voucher. I went back and argued with him because I ended up throwing up from eating a bite of that chicken. He said I have to subtract 2 dollars because you didn't bring the naan. I forgot the naan. This is by far the best Indian food I have had in Dallas. They do not offer a buffet and that isn't necessarily a bad thing. I love fresh ingredients and food prepared with care and love. This place definitely fits that bill. I also love true spicy Indian food, and this place will accommodate my spicy cravings when I make the request. The service is always friendly and the regular crowd of patrons definitely know their cuisine. Do try the specials on the white board when you walk in. They come with rice and naan as well as some additional sides so it's a small feast for a low cost. Do try the pizza (pizza you ask? Yes! Pizza!). But my tried and true favorites include the samosas, butter chicken, chicken tikka, lamb vindaloo (spicy!), and palak paneer (super fresh & delicious)! They do not serve alcohol but you can absolutely BYOB. Definitely try it out! read more
