Aunt said best Indian restaurant in Dallas. Gulub jumun. Chicken tikka masala - very delicious with good flavor and high quality chicken breast. Fish vindaloo - very tasty and very spicy (I had 3 out of 4 heat, only for the brave). Sag paneer- absolutely delicious and complemented the other dishes. Very friendly and helpful staff. read more

It smells so good outside the restaurant, we decided to try the lunch buffet, food is okay we had better Indian cuisine where we come from. We went in at about 11:30 am on a week day and when we leave there is about 6 parties. I most likely will not be back to this restaurant and try other BBQ and steak house in Dallas TX instead. Several other restaurants I would like to go to but doesn't have enough time to visit them, may be next time when I go to TX. read more

We got catering from Sigree for a small party of about 30 people and it was awesome! They showed up on time and set up the appetizers in no time. Lasooni gobhi and aloo tikki on a stick were a hit! Paneer shashlik was nice as well, served on a mini skewer with vegetables. The live chhole bhature were yummy. The set up and service was efficient. The rest of the food, veg biryani, veg korma and salad with Raita were tasty with perfect medium spice level. For dessert with had the delicious rice kheer pudding. One of the few Indian places that serves good North Indian food along with sizzlers. Nothing fancy very casual atmosphere but the food tastes good and excellent service . We've been here a few times and have never been disappointed. Good options for Vegetarians. Sham Savera is one of our favorites along with the sizzlers. We came on a Friday night around 645 and unexpectedly the only table. Sure the food came out slowly but it seems they make everything to order. We ordered 3 dishes and an appetizer. I have returned back for the weekday lunch buffet many times after my first review and have always enjoyed my experience here. At $12.99 (kids $8.99), it is one of the most affordable Indian buffets in the area and the spread is good! Everything is mild-medium spicy so it's good for everyone including kids. Their dal makhni + rice is comforting and the gulab jamun is excellent. The items on the buffet are more or less the same every time I visit but that's fine with me. The service is kind and the owner makes it a point to greet and chat with customers if she isn't too busy cooking. I will be back when the next gulab jamoon craving hits! read more

The food here is delicious! We came for dinner on Tuesday night and we had a really yummy dinner. Across our table we had mushroom curry, chicken tandori, goat vindaloo, butter chicken, chicken samosas, few other things, and a lot of naan. We all thought our food was really yummy and I will definitely come by again when I'm craving some yummy curry. I had the butter chicken and it was extremely good. I have ordered Sigree Indian twice through Doordash and both times, the food has been excellent! I've ordered from a few different Indian restaurants before trying Sigree, and Sigree has been the best by far! I love chicken tikka masala and Sigree's has been the best I've tasted since moving to Dallas (Addison) 2 1/2 years ago. The prices aren't bad either. I've been missing Indian lunch buffets back home in Seattle, so I knew I had to find a good spot while visiting family. After doing some research, Sigree seemed to be a great option, and I'm so glad we ended up here! We ate on a Friday, so it was still $13/pp weekday pricing, which is INSANE value. I had never seen samosas offered at a lunch buffet before until Sigree, which was an amazing start to the buffet line. There was quite a selection throughout the buffet, and the staff was constantly refilling with fresh food. The buffet offerings were delicious, well-seasoned, and I appreciated the variety! Lots to try. Wait for naan bread if it's not there yet(we had to go back up). This was the first time I had a chai tea at an Indian buffet; it was great to sip after adding a sugar but wish it was vegan--hard to ignore the dairy flavor after being vegan many years. The food is OK. What bothered me most is the deceptive charging. They don't bring a receipt, but you go to the counter to pay where they tell you the price. They didn't volunteer a receipt and it didn't add up, so I asked for one. They do not disclose that they charge a percentage for using a card. I was charged it despite paying cash!! I had to go to the counter to request refills for drinks on 2 of my 3 visits. The kitchen staff talk in their phones VERY loudly. You can easily hear the staff talking in their phones from the kitchen. Don't order tea unless you order "hot brewed tea" as they clearly don't know how to make American cold brew tea. Chicken tikka masala was outstanding. Chicken korma was excellent. Saag paneer was the best I ever had. Naan bread was perfect, not greasy. All the flavors were robust and deep. This is an Indian restaurant/banquet hall in the heart of Addison. The inside is cute and clean. Our server was so busy so our food and service was delayed. We ordered chai tea and the kathi chicken roll for an appetizer. The tea WAS PERFECTION!!! It was rich, flavorful and superhot and I of course added sugar to it to make it extra delicious. All our food was On. Point! The only thing is the meats on the Kebab non-veg was the chicken and kebab were super dry. We used the sauce with the lamb korma to eat the kebab planter. Always love discovering a new Indian restaurant and I wanted to love this one. But, the spice in my lamb biryani was completely off balance. Maybe cardamom? There was so much that it overpowered the whole dish. I wouldn't say it was inedible but it was hard to enjoy. The roti was also a swing and a miss. Not cooked evenly, had spots where it was charred and spots where it felt undercooked. Not a good taste. It reminded me of some of my failed attempts to make cast iron quesadillas. This place just keeps getting better and better. I came when it first opened a few years ago and was a little worried. I've tried it again a few times since then and I think they've really hit their stride. The furniture and flooring has been redone and is nice. The service is always good if a little slow. But the food is just awesome. Especially a weekend buffet - you can get aloo tikki chaat and make-your-own pani puri. They have lots of vegetarian options. The Malawi kofta is awesome. Weekday buffets are good too although a bit smaller. Side tangent: I love the diversity of people I see in here every time. A sign of a good authentic Indian restaurant is a lot of South Asian clientele, but North Dallas has quite a few choices, and the Indian restaurants around here, in my humble Caucasian opinion, are usually a little too authentic and too spicy. I usually notice that I am the only non-South Asian in those establishments . Sigree is a nice in between of authentic and approachable. Right now as I'm sitting here the population is about half South Asian but also some black, white, Hispanic, and East Asian. I don't know why it matters to me but it's good to see a wide spectrum of America under one roof sometimes. read more

Just call me Indiana Jones... Because I like to explore me some yummy Indian foods around the Dallas suburban jungle! So far we've been here twice, once for the lunch buffet and the other time for dinner. This place didn't disappoint for the price. Ambiance: just your run of the mill restaurant in a random Dallas strip mall Service: ok depending on the crowd. Passed my water test most of the time. Food: we originally came with a Groupon thinking we could use it for lunch, but alas we hadn't read the fine print saying the buffet was not applicable. Instead, we decided just to do the lunch buffet since it very reasonable and then come back for dinner another time. + Lunch buffet: decent variety with some interesting Indian Chinese fusion dishes in there too. Freshly cooked. Can't beat it for the price. + Chicken Tikka masala: good tomato, spice and cream goodness + Lamb korma: good nutty meat in your mouth... What's not to love?? + Fried Cream cheese: no idea what was in it, but some veggie base with cream cheese in the center. Kinda like a croquette + Combo biryani: amazing! We tried this restaurant for the first time and loved it. We went on Sunday evening for their dinner service (they offer a buffet for lunch). The chicken samosas were freshly made and great. Their naan is good also - regular and garlic. My wife had a fish vindaloo with a medium spice level and I had the butter chicken with a mild spice level. Both were good. The chicken had a really rich, tasty sauce. The food amounts were plentiful. We could have easily split one entree. A couple of notes: 1) It's spicy, even the mild (though the effect wears off rather quickly after eating); 2) The service was okay. The people are nice, but communication was a little uneasy; 3) If you pay with a credit card, there's an additional charge, around 4%, and it's not printed on the menu. We paid cash so we avoided the charge. One big plus - I wasn't sure which spice level to get for my butter chicken, mild or medium, and mentioned this to the server. I decided on mild. As we we're eating our entrees, they brought us another entree of butter chicken, this time with medium spice so I could try it and compare, at no charge! Overall, a wonderful dinner.
