I'm from L.A. myself -- and not Arcadia L.A., or Beverly Hills L.A., or beach L.A., but Lynwood-across-the-street-from-Compton-to-the-south-and-Watts-to-the-west-L.A., majority black when I was there, about 87% Hispanic now, and with friends from the north valley down to Orange County -- and anybody who has to try this hard 1) to bigtime everybody with how oh-so-L.A. he is, and 2) to be sure how much everybody knows he thinks white people, especially white people on Yelp and/or from Missouri, are the most uncool, inexperienced, non-foodie rubes in the world, is a complete loser. Would be nice to see racial posing done somewhere other than on a food-review site. Got that, Angel? Nobody cares how awesomely not-white you are or how much contempt you have for people you don't even know, who may have eaten at three dozen Indian restaurants before doing their reviews for this one. Great Indian food on par with my favorite in hometown Houston. As of our visit in May 2021, this restaurant is definitely struggling a bit along with others in Branson in terms of staff shortages, which is really unfortunate for those staff who are showing up. The fact that they managed here to turn out phenomenal food (albeit with a very long wait) says a great deal. Among the dishes ordered were ginger chicken, butter chicken, and the #34 vegetarian option, as well as both garlic and butter naan. Amazing, all. read more

I'm not much of a drinker but it was my birthday and when I told him what my taste was in wine & asked what he suggested in a sparkling wine. This is the only Indian restaurant in Branson Missouri. Fortunately, this is an excellent Indian restaurant with very prompt and kind service. The decor is pretty average, but the food is exceptional. I am a big fan of lamb saag. I highly recommend this Indian restaurant for lunch or dinner. read more

Amazing Food! I see why this is one of the top 5 restaurants in Branson. You must definitely try this place. Parking isn't too bad either. For being such great food, I was suprised to see that this place was quite and not too busy. My only two complains: the tap water is disgusting and tastes like dirt & soil. AMAZING food! My daughter and I ordered from this restaurant via DoorDash. We had the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Chicken Delhi Special Masala. Both were absolutely delicious! My favorite was the Chicken Delhi Special Masala because it was spicy. The Chicken Tikka Masala was excellent too, and it has more sauce to mix with the rice than the other dish. We also ordered 2 deserts, which neither of us cared for... but it was something new for us to try. We tried the Kheer and the Rasmalai. Not something we would order again. Excellent food good service medium price. The place was empty on a Monday at 8 but several others came or picked up food while we were there. We ordered 5 dishes and an appetizer. The flavor was some of the best Indian i have ever had. The server was always topping off water. The staff was very attentive. There were two things that got me here 1, the dish my son ordered had great sauce but only three chinks of lamb in it for over $15 that is wrong. 2. They added a baseline tip of 18.5% without me catching it so my server got almost 40% in tip that is messed up. After the disrespect my wife was shown tonight by the owner, we will never recommend your establishment to anyone again. Doordash confirmed you replied that you received the order and again confirmed it was ready for pickup at 5:10 PM when the order was for a scheduled pickup at 6:10 PM a full hour later. What happen to customer service and admitting you made a mistake instead of making my wife wait 45 min thinking you are remaking a prepaid personal Doordash pickup order to only tell her no we never got the order. Telling us it's not your problem and not your responsibility is unacceptable and following my wife to her car and cursing her out was beyond unacceptable. You won't have the opportunity to do this again to anyone I know. After working 10 hours today and just getting off, my wife did not deserve your RUDE BEHAVIOR, SHAME ON YOU. read more

I was so pleasantly surprised when their food was as spicy as I like- Extra Spicy all the way- and their customer service was wonderful. While visiting Branson, after few days of stay, we started craving for Indian food and found this place. We went to the place and the owner greeted us and helped us chose curries, bread and desert. It's an authentic North Indian Restaurant with flavors on the point. We ordered dal tadka, paneer karahi, navratna korma, naan, and aaloo parantha. Several Indian restaurants in a tourist place usually tone down their flavors and spices. However, this place didn't do that. read more

There is nothing to not love about this place. The décor is relaxed upscale. Definitely Indian ambiance, but not overdone. If you have a choice, take a booth vs. a table; super comfy. We have done menu and the weekend buffet. My preference is the buffet (served during lunch on Friday and Saturday), simply for the variety and the budget friendly price. From cold salad items and desserts, there is nothing lacking here. This is especially helpful for people unfamiliar with Indian food because they have so many choices. One or two entrees may change on the buffet, but there is consistently a khorma dish, chicken tikka, tandoori chicken, vegetable pakora, fish, paneer, and of course naan. The food is done in smaller batches and replaced often. Service is outstanding. Even with the buffet, staff is attentive to drink refills and keeping the food fresh. Here's the most accurate and honest review about the only Indian food spot in Branson. Knew right away that this place was incorrectly rated once I saw it was all white folk and all 5 stars. Didn't add up especially cause from the outside it looks like a dump situated in a strip mall. My girl, grandmother, mother and myself stopped in for dinner. We're from Los Angeles, ca and my girl and I eat Indian food all the time. And the good stuff. We have hundreds of spots all over the la area. She's also Indian herself. Anyways, my grandma and mom liked it cause they've never had Indian food before. They didn't know what to expect or that there is far better stuff out there. Which is also what I'm assuming the vast majority of these reviews are the same way. White folk who've never had Indian food in their life, and the only spot in 100 miles is this joint, so they go there. Having nothing better to compare it to, they think it's amazing.... well it's not sadly. It felt like we entered the twilight zone here. All white people and not a single Indian... Usually I'm the only white guy and it's all Indians... it was so weird. Service here is awesome! The guys running the dining room were on top of everything and very nice. Service here doesn't lack. It's the food that fails. The whole place smelled like bleach. It was disgusting. I had to wrap my scarf over my mouth just so I could breath without feeling gross. Try adding more water to your cleaning mix guys... your ratio is waaaaaay off. Chicken tikka masala - had a weird taste to it. Couldn't put my finger on it, but it was off. Chicken was dried out. Sauce was pretty bland. Vegetable korma - very bland sauce. Just like eating straight cream... gross. Their vegetable medley choice was great though. Big cauliflower pieces which were nice. Onion kulcha/garlic naan - not like back home. Dried out quicker. Bravo to the heavy use of garlic though. That's something most garlic naans lack. Tandoori chicken - very hard to mess this dish up. & they did not do that. They made it properly and it was delicious. Moist chicken, perfectly cooked veggies. Sadly this isn't something I normally get when eating Indian. So I wouldn't order it if I went in normally. I only order this dish in case the people I've brought won't eat the curries. Overall, avoid this place if you're visiting Branson from somewhere that has actual good Indian food, and just wait to eat it till you're home. This place only gets rave reviews because it's literally the only Indian food in town. Do yourself a favor and Drive 50 min north to Springfield and see if one of those spots is better. Oh my goodness! Such amazing food! This place is, hands down, one of the best Indian restaurants we've been to in the midwest. We had dinner on a Saturday night and the restaurant was packed! We started out with samosas and for entrees, ordered butter chicken and karahi with garlic naan. The chicken and lamb were so moist, held the flavors of the sauces well. Fans of Indian Cuisine visiting Branson: rejoice! This place is amazing! The location in a strip mall doesn't convey the experience you will have at the restaurant and I really can't recommend this place enough. We ordered Vegetable Pakora, Chicken Saag, Lamb Vindaloo, and Garlic Naan and literally everything was fantastic. The Pakora was lightly fried and lightly seasoned allowing you to enjoy them as they were or with a bit of sauce to get both flavors. The Chiken Saag was tender, savory, and mild. And the Lamb Vindaloo was spicy and flavorful. Both entrees were amazing. The Garlic Naan was soft and perfect for scooping up entrees and sauces and then imbuing them with a bit of garlic flare. Now, though the food was fantastic, the service was also incredible. The owner checked in on us before and during the meal to answer questions and make recommendations (the Lamb Vindaloo was on his advice.) and our server was also kind, attentive, and a joy to chat with when we weren't eating. As long time fans of Indian Food, my wife and I left here feeling like this was one of the best Indian dining experieneces we've ever had. It's a shame this place is so far away from where we life or we would surely be there every week. Absolutely amazing! We are here on vacation during the Covid-19 pandemic. We could not eat in the restaurant but ordered food to bring back to our resort, the gentleman at the counter.. probably or possibly the owner was as kind as could be. He allowed us to come in and have a drink while we ordered and waited on our food, we told him we were from Texas and compared Indian food in Missouri to Texas and were so happy when we got our food back to our resort! This place was a nice little find when we were on the hunt for ice cream. It said there was a buffet but it was a Wednesday and they only have it on the weekends. The food was pretty good but the dessert wasn't great. We started with the lentil soup which had too much seasoning or something for me. I took it as left overs and my boyfriend ate it later in the day. My chicken masala was spicy and we loved it! It paired great with the garlic nan. We also had the lamb which was also spicy and very good. Even after the delicious main course we had to enjoy the glob jamoon. I know I spelled that horribly wrong. lol! DONT GO HERE!!!!! This place is really small and crowded and no customer service at all. We went in and we're seated immediately. After 10 mins of waiting we had to ask the waiter for water instead of him asking us. Also there was only one waiter so the service was slow. We were a two small parties but we decided to sit together and asked to split the bill, the waiter refused to do that. We asked them why and he replied it's just their rule. That is really greedy of them because even big restaurants like Olive Garden ask their guest if they want to split the bill. Moving on we ordered food. We our food. We ordered 3 curry plates and 10 garlic naan bread. I am Indian so I know the quality and quality of the food. After we were don't ordering the waiter informed us that from one curry plate, only one person can eat....and we were completely shocked!!!! That is small quantity compared to the price that I am paying for it. We said just bring the food and then we will let them know if we need to order more and waiter said that we have to order right now because later on they will get busy and they won't be able to help us out. EXCUSE ME!!! If you have a restaurant, you should be able to pay equal attention to every customer, not just one. We were completely disgusted and shocked by the customer service we received. The food was really less quantity and the quality was bad too. The food was blant and cold. It seemed like they warmed up the frozen food and brought it. The naan bread weren't fresh and they were the same naan bread that I could go and buy the frozen ones at the Indian grocery store. What an amazing experience!The decor was very warm and inviting. It was pretty busy for a Saturday lunch buffet and had to wait about 3 minutes...but who cares. I haven't had such good Indian food anywhere in the USA. This was more like being invited to someone's home in India. The food was fresh and vibrant. The Papa had a light texture and alive spice. The tandoori chicken moist, smoky, and vibrant spice. It is hard to describe but the flavours all just popped in your tongue but not over the top. I loved the cardamon in the kheer. Everything was spiced to perfection. I will add that being in Missouri must give some freedom in license because who has ever heard of beef korma? But, hey we are in the middle of beef country.
