3.4 star out of 5 for my visit. Due to lots of hype this was our second attempt to eat here the day before the wait time was over 45 minutes so we came back to try again and got in within 30 minutes for our party of 5. 3 Adults one teen one 5 year old. They have many reasons for the low review during my experience. Once we were given a table and seated our drink orders were taken about 5 minutes in not bad however it went down from thier. We ordered two cortados two iced coffees a chocolate milk and sweet tea. The water came then 10 minutes later one cortado and one iced coffee came. The about 8 min later the chocolate milk abd ice tea followed by the last ice coffee and my cortado as well. What I witnessed was people coming in to order drinks from the person making coffees and then waiters and waitresses putting orders in so they would bounce between people ordering just a drink and people dining in for breakfast This is not a fluid concept and if that is not what is suppose to take place it is what I physically saw causing delays in drinks to people's tables and servers. We ordered a variety of items but it was a small type of breakfast items. The food came out about 35 minutes into service. The kids pancakes were done well and the chicken salad sandwich was fresh, the broccoli chedder soup was good as well. I had a platter with smothered hash browns, ham, 2 eggs and a biscuit and gravy due to the hype for the homemade biscuits. My eggs had three instead of two on the account one broke and they cooked another to put on top of the broken one. The hash browns had a burned edge and then raw middle so to high heat i guess the worst thing was waiting for the food and then main star the biscuit and gravy came out. They lost me fully with the biscuit and gravy. The gravy was cold and the biscuit during my second bite tasted too raw upon using my butter knife to cut the biscuit in half it slid out raw with batter from the under done biscuit. Being a foodie this broke my heart - she asked me if I would like a whole new biscuit I said no thank you. Upon further request if everything was fine they still insisted on bringing another one to try. That biscuit did have a flaky buttery top half with hot gravy almost redemption worthy then I took a bite from the other bottom half and it was raw so I gave up. The ham was tasting off so I did not finish it to follow my own instinct. Now I paid for everything they had offered to take it off my bill however I came for the full real experience of this place and declined. This is still worth going too and trying my experience though is mine and mine alone which has made me consider other options in the area moving forward. I appreciate the time and effort the cooks and staff made.

Food was incredible, we went for breakfast on a Sunday morning, 10 of us ending a bachelorette trip. Although they were extremely busy, they got us in very quickly! The owner gave our bride a free muffin, and let us sit in the window area at our request. Ambiance was wonderful! Will be back!

We actually were heading to another breakfast spot when we spotted this one on the road, the other place was closed so we circled back. The line was pretty long but moved quickly, you could also wait outside but it was cold as heck. Once seated the servers are friendly and talk about the menu items in good detail. I personally loved the stuffed hashbrown- the flavor was amazing and went really well with hot sauce from the table. The place was rather small and got sort of like a Deli vibe since you pay first then they bring you the food. All around it was a great breakfast spot.

I don't give out 5-star reviews lightly--a place really has to be over the top to earn one. But after staying at Steamy Joe's three times, they have absolutely earned it. Every single stay here is incredibly easy and seamless. We've stayed at many other high-end properties around Branson, and Steamy Joe's service holds up against any of them. To top it all off, they have a top-tier restaurant on-site. The food and service there are always top-notch, which truly cements their 5-star rating. Highly recommended!

My partner and I were in Branson on vacation this past weekend and I was jonesing for some good breakfast I did a quick google and this place caught my eye. When we got here you could tell it was busy but our wait only ended up being maybe 20 minutes. I will say that the server we ended up with was not very friendly at all but I don't like discounting a place to eat just because a server had a bad attitude. As other reviews mention, you do pay BEFORE you get your food which is different than most sit down restaurants but it didn't bother me too much. I ordered the cinnamon roll French toast and it was so delicious; fair warning as it is a sugar bomb but I would order again in a heartbeat but a smaller portion for sure. I also got a caramel latte which might be the best one I've had EVER. I would definitely recommend to anyone in the area and will be back again for another vacation!

Great little breakfast find in Branson. First time here, coffee options were amazing and the food was solid. I did the Big Joe with eggs, hash browns, bacon and biscuits and gravy... My wife enjoyed their homemade breakfast quiche, which was amazing. The view from their dining area is special, the waitstaff was super friendly and attentive. Great place to wake up and come eat!

We had just wrapped up our Branson, Missouri vacation and were getting ready for the 10 hour drive back to New Orleans. The truck was fueled up but our bellies were empty and needed to be filled up as well. A quick Yelp search led us to the Steamy Joe Cafe. Located directly next door to The Bradford; a bed & breakfast, this charming wood framed restaurant is very inviting. This is counter service with a charm, as the staff were very inviting. We were seated in a glass atrium styled dining room that offered incredible views of the Ozark Mountains. While we waited for our food, I was pleasantly pleased at how delicious the coffee was. In fact, it was so good, it immediately brought me back to the movie Pulp Fiction when Samuel L. Jackson's character (Jules) stated "G0d damn Jimmy, this some serious gourmet sh!t, but I digress. Let's just say it was a great way to start the day before a long drive home. Since I had feasted for several days, I went with a lighter option for breakfast and got the veggie omelette, with grits and sourdough toast. Let's just say it hit the spot. If you are ever in the area, this is a great little breakfast/brunch spot.

We stayed at the Motel for a quick weekend away and had to eat breakfast the next morning. There were lots of good reviews so I was excited to try it. It didn't disappoint. It was busy and the place was hopping. Service was great. All the staff seemed to watch the tables so we never ran out of drinks or needed anything. It was a bit noisy, but it's busy! The view is fantastic. The only weird part is you pay as soon as you order. And of course if paying via Credit card the tip is asked up front. Having no clue if I would get good service I tipped a little light. After our meal I felt bad about that but I guess that's the businesses fault. If I'm ever there again I'll tip better since I know. Anyway. Food was fantastic, service was stellar, prices are fair, and the view was great. Definitely give this place a go if you're in the area.

Cute little breakfast place. Stopped here on our way home to Oklahoma! Food was good, various drink options, and quick service! The view in the back outside is so pretty! We sat upstairs.

Do you accept emotional support dogs (11 lb yorkie) in a stroller?

    We sure do!

What is a good day to go to avoid a big crowd?

Honestly it seems like it is always busy. We went early on a weekend. So plan earlier the better. When we were leaving around 8:30-9, it was filling up. But trust me, it's worth it!!

    Are dogs allowed?

I don't know but im sure it has to be less then 30 pounds like a small dog!

The staff are students working to pay for their college tuition so the service was great! The food was good (most ingredients on site also made by students) portions were huge, the price was decent, place was clean and much better then any touristy type restaurant near or on the strip, so much so we came here for dinner 2 nights in a row. The students are so interactive if you ask them questions and they also have the place they are from on their name tags which can be conversation starters. It does take them a little time to get through service so make sure you have a little time to wait. They serve 2 types of bread with bread service and 3 different butters alongside those. The apple butter was delicious. The first night I had the meatloaf which was very good. The second night I had their special for the night which was a stuffed chicken with spinach and cheese, vinegar potatoes and some mixed veggie side that was delicious. There is also a store area where you can buy student made items to take home with you. I wish we had a program like this near us because we would support it frequently. Our server, Shawna was super nice and attentive. We ordered: - Coffees and waters - Giant Cinnamon Roll - Eggs Benedict with Hollandaise on the side and Home Fries - Omelet with Ham, Onion and Cheddar with English Muffin and side of Hash Browns The cinnamon roll came out first as we wanted. While it was tasty, it definitely was not huge. For cinnamon rolls, this was average to small in size. At $5.99 though, it was priced fairly. My omelet was nice. The English Muffin was saturated with butter or Whirl. My hashbrowns were a big disappointment. The top of them were extra crispy and crumbled when eaten (overcooked). The hashbrowns underneath looked okay but were floating in a bath of cooking oil (Whirl perhaps). My wife's Eggs Benedict was decent as was the sauce. Eggs were cooked perfectly. Her home fries were large chunks of fried potatoes. They didn't seemed seasoned at all and they were cut too large. We have half of our meals leftover and will be eating them at home tomorrow morning. I packed my hashbrowns on top of a napkin to absorb the grease/Whirl so those should fry up nice. For my wife's home fries, I'll season them when I reheat them. So I'm calling Clockers Cafe average for the food and excellent for the service.
