Only Indian restaurant in Branson. Convenient location. We liked the pakoras and chatni. Butter chicken and garlic nan was also good. Biriyani was horrible with no taste of proper Biriyani. Excellent Indian food Punjabi style. Owner is very friendly and lively guy with his sons working for him. Only Indian place in Branson and it gets 4*. Can't be better than this. Buffet during the day is great. Especially the fish pakora (fried fish) and all the desi versions of salads are amazing. Naan's are of high quality. All veg and non-veg gravies are very well done and balanced on spices. Mango lassi (yogurt drink) is a must try. Ate there with my daughter and her family on our last day in Branson, and wish we had gone there sooner. It was one of the best Indian meals I had ever eaten. This is a great spot for Indian food. The flavors were fresh, speedy service and delicious dessert. We ordered the lamb curry, butter chicken and lamb korma. The lamb was slightly dry and lacked flavor. The sauces were delicious. Portions were generous and we had leftovers. Appreciated the yummy mango custard that finished off our meal. The place was very busy but staff here were very friendly and efficient. Food was tasty but somehow everything tastes similar with not too much flavor difference. The restaurant was full when we walked in 6:30. We got the last open table. We ordered chicken tiki masala and chicken tandoori with a fried battered broccoli for an appetizer. All were moist, flavorful and delicious. Rice pudding was our dessert. We had excellent service with the owner, hostess and 2 waiters checking on us at least two times each. We love the atmosphere and the food. The owner, Ram, is very helpful in helping us with what to order. The food did not take long to come out and the service is prompt. The tamarind dipping sauce is delicious at appetizer. My son is an eight-year-old picky eater and I was worried about what to get for him but Ram recommended the ginger chicken and it was spot on with basmati rice. I love the chicken tikka masala. I usually order the shrimp sindaloo which is a little spicy but absolutely fantastic. The Nan and rice that go with it make even better. We ordered the cauliflower appetizer which was yummy. The chicken tikka curry, the chicken curry, the tandoori chicken platter, saag, eggplant and a variety of naan. It was not spicy at all, more mild flavored but definitely could tell there was fresh ingredients and spices used to prepare the dish. Friendly staff and food came out fast. The food is amazing! I had the lamb curry with rhoti bread. I lived in Southeast Asia for years and was very impressed with this Indian food. The smells and perfectly balanced flavors really took me back to my younger years in Singapore. It reminded me of eating curry and rhoti down at the local outdoor hawker centers.
