This is one of the biggest Indian stores I have been to in the US. They carry wide range of brands and different varieties of Indian groceries here. Well organized store and friendly staff. They have fresh varieties of produce as well. They have a separate snack counter where they sell Indian sweets, Somosas, Pakoras and fresh Sugar Cane juice are also available here. Good parking space and this store is mostly busy.

Extremely Extremely Rude staff!! If they don't want any customers in the store at 9pm, why do they allow us to get in before 9pm? They literally wanted us out of the store at 9pm, while we were shopping. I need a answer Mr. Owner, I know he is Gujrati? Is this how your checkout ladies behaves with everyone?? This is my second bad experience in this this store. I will not step in this store again. Better you go to another india grocery store, if you want to be treated well. I will give minus(-) for the customer service. I had already paid for the items else I wouldn't have taken any stuff from them, the way they behaved. I have seen many reviews which says need a better staff, not trained at all and a ZERO manners and customer service. Hire someone who atleast have manners to talk friendly with customers or train them better.

Jack fruit, masala tea, small statues of Ganesh, Fair & Lovely skin cream, etc. These are just a few of the items you can find at this place, all of which come straight from India. The selection of items is great for the size of the store. The produce looked fresh and it would be difficult to find some of the tropical fruits at other major grocery chains. If you're a carnivore, try Colonel Kababz's chicken seekh kababs (in the freezer section). There are NO artificial ingredients or preservatives and the chicken is filled with tastiness like onions, ginger, green chili and cilantro. These ingredients definitely pack a one-two punch in terms of heat but it's not at all unbearable. Trying it with a salt lassi will cool the tongue. If you live in Novi or Farmington Hills, you'll find this local India Grocers can satisfy your needs until your next stop in India.

This chain needs to update it:d items and approach to the current preferences of younger adults and knowledgeable others. I went to this store yesterday and felt like I was in Walmart. On this huge store there was only one line to get a real person line for ringing up your groceries -:everything else was self check. Contrast this to the smaller Trader Joes with ten person lines. Like Walmart, the deli has only sodium nitrite meat selections that are all classified now as class one carcinogens,! Also, like Walmart there are no reduced fat cheeses in the store. Nutrition researchers now recommend to buy only cheeses with 3% or less saturated fat. . On the breakfast cereal side, about half of their cereals were highly sweetened and none were lines of healthy cereals. The organic fruits and vegetables are way in the back of the store with limited types and high prices. If you go to most of the mainline churches today, you will find mostly gray heads and fewer attendees. They don't keep up with the times . Likewise at Meijer s, most of their customers are gray heads. Young and middle age shoppers have turned to stores like Trader Joes and Costc.o.

They did have some fresh produce, a tiny bit of meat and many aisles packed with food. It appears that they do plan to have a bakery area, prepared foods and meats. The reason for only 2 stores is that the prices are insanely high. Six dollars for a box of cereal? And most other goods that I see in other stores were at least a dollar more than elsewhere. But, I will say, that if you want middle eastern goods, you will undoubtedly find them here. Rows and rows of all kinds of beans and rice and lots of things I'm completely unfamiliar with. I do think they should have waited for their soft opening until they were actually more prepared for customers; they did have one checkout open, and the young man was friendly enough, but it felt eerie walking around a mostly empty store while constantly meeting paths with 3 obvious business owners who were discussing matters in their native language as they walked around with clipboards and such, taking notes and commenting on the goods (from what I could tell). It just didn't feel very welcoming at this point.

Ambiance has always stayed the same: cute, cozy, and so comfortable. Now that the booths were removed and they only have regular table seating, service is a bit different (you order at the front or at the kiosk instead of someone taking your order), but I actually love how it all works! From an operational standpoint, I feel like it actually makes things go smoother and faster. Additionally, I don't know if it's just because I haven't had their sushi in a bit, but I felt like their portion sizes actually increased slightly (which is always amazing)!! Love love LOVEEE their sushi and hearty miso soup so much. Great selection of drinks from the fridge inside, and so many vegetables, fish, snacks, and essentials (e.g., hair care, toothpaste).

The premade food choices are growing by the day. They are always adding to their offerings with new flavors and tastes. I started coming to One world market in 1997 when it was first home by a husband and wife team. It was very special at that time to have a Japanese focused grocery store and I was so happy to have one in the Novi area. This has been my go-to for decades now. When it was transitioning from private ownership to the Noble Village group, owned by True World group, there was a transitional decline, thankfully, that didn't last long and things are developing very nicely. I hear even more growth is on the horizon as they establish an even greater presence in the building next door. I am also thankful that the integrity and the high-quality is very much present and everything they do. The service is always top notch and they try to open up a lot of lanes so people get through quickly because it is busier than ever. The word is definitely out. I've seen a lot of posts on social media and it's bringing in an even greater crowds, which is fantastic! Note: the on-line ordering is also so convenient and their sushi platters are high-level!
