Food, bar service and ambiance - we're great! Greeters / hostesses could use better direction.

I loved this place!! First time in Canada and this Montreal spot did not disappoint!! I was so excited to try their creative cocktails and dishes. Would definitely come again for a happy hour or dinner! Brunch was fantastic, and certainly heavy. I was floored by the beautiful drinks and the details of all the dishes. Interior is also beautiful. Don't miss out!

This restaurant is close to old Montreal. It's a beautiful restaurant with great ambiance, and food was extremely flavorful. The Calcutta shrimp curry was delicious, highly recommend. Service was friendly.

We came here 2 days in a row. This place is amazing the details and all the nice decorations gives it that extra wow factor. The food is delicious we were looking for a good spot with Indian food and it was recommended by our Uber driver. This is a good spot for a quit snack, or a nice dinner. Heard brunch gets really busy. Our server was able to speak French, English, and Spanish. Wish that had one in Miami, FL.

The service & ambiance was great; food was mid unfortunately! I expected more flavor from the Dal Makhani. The drink was really majestic but also mid. Also thought it was annoying that the curry entree didn't come with at least one of the usual sides: naan/rice/raita. You basically have an up-charge if you want to consume your entree via a reasonable vehicle - and don't want to shovel the curry straight into your mouth.

I had the Malai Kofta dish along with Cheesy Naan during my visit. The sauce in the Malai Kofta was the highlight of the meal. It was not too spicy, but it had a bit of a kick. The Naan was also delicious and full of flavor! My server, Alice, was very helpful in helping me choose what to order and I want to thank her for her excellent service towards a first-time visitor!

Amazing Indian food! A must stop while you're in Montreal. We came again before we left and had a great dinner. Alice and the other waitresses are super friendly.

How delicious was the pisco sour!!!!

India rosa is a trendy place. The food was delicious, I opted for cod with curry and coco water which was enjoyably spicy. The cocktail list is super attractive, the Pisco sour a la violette was to die for. I would definitely recommend the traditional chai, very well balanced on spices and sweetness. The restaurant is very spacious and on a Friday night the operation was running smoothly, food and drinks delivered timely, the service was wonderful. Eventually the noise levels will raise as the night goes on and the DJ enhances the sound. Don't leave your coat at the entrance, the girls were challenged to find my jacket, when I was departing. Parking maybe a problem in this recently over constructed part of town and nearby garages are obnoxiously expensive. Overall nice experience!

Everything about this place was phenomenal. The food was incredible and we got about five dishes as were the drinks. The inside was beautiful and the waitress was so helpful and walked us through the whole menu and her recommendations.

He gave not only the best drink recommendations, but also gave us a hand written list of his favorite spots in MTL (drinks, dining, activities, etc). The first time, the music was extremely loud, and it seemed like they were short-staffed. The bar was completely packed, and there was only one bartender making drinks, so the wait was a bit longer than expected. We decided to give it another try, and I'm so glad we did. The second visit was amazing! The bartender working that night was incredible--she clearly knows her craft and made our drinks quickly without sacrificing quality. Every cocktail was delicious, and the overall experience was much more enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend The Coldroom. My only suggestion would be that, with a space that busy, the bar could really benefit from having an additional bartender during peak hours. It would help keep wait times down and make an already great experience even better.

Unfortunately, when I arrived, I found a notice on the door indicating that the restaurant was currently closed, even though it was supposed to open at 5 PM according to Yelp. Service was phenomenal and our waiter checked in frequently with us. The food was absolutely immaculate. My favorite starter was the salmon crudo. For the main, two people carried out a mouth dropping spread of tiger shrimp, scallops, grilled octopus, lobster, lamb chops and a tomahawk. More than enough food for the 6 and everything was cooked perfectly- octopus wasn't chewy and the meats were super flavorful and tender. They were very accommodating to dietary restrictions as well. They had a DJ and lively atmosphere after dinner so we stayed and got bottle service. Fun spot with great food is always a winner in my eyes. I will definitely be coming back next time I'm in Montreal!
