We walked right in with four people and immediately found prime real estate. Everyone knows that having four diners in a party allows for optimized sharing, along as everyone is down to clown. So we all picked a dish that spoke to us at a personal level. That's when we were floored by the level of service that Maharaja has to offer. Once our designated spokesperson relayed the dishes to the waitress, she paused and then made a counter offer... What if we could give you all of these and more at a discount? The gang was intrigued. We had inadvertently ordered some sort of party platter but in an a la carte fashion. The waitress took money out of her pocket to give us more food. A truly unparalleled opportunity to do right by the customer. Major applause to you (I hope this doesn't get you fired, and instead leads to increased business). These are the moments that you do not forget about as an enthusiast and avid promoter of the Seattle restaurant scene. I was blown away by the food as well. My experience with tandoori chicken in the past was that it can be dry and not pack the seasoning punch that you would expect from such a vibrant color. But this was quite the opposite, tender and juicy chicken that was exploding with flavor. The curries were also rich and deep in taste, with much more chicken than you get at many other establishments these days. I will 100% be back when I'm in West Seattle, and I would implore others to do so as well.

The tacos were also good - we tried the paneer and really liked the guacamole paneer combo. Portions were reasonable, especially if sharing a few dishes. Also tried the chai espresso martini, which was nice. The inside of the place is a bit upscale but also feels like a good place for a casual night out. Service is quick and attentive.

Our server was not really attentive and for the price we paid, we felt we deserved better service. Overall, our food was delicious. It came out warm and had delicious species that had a very distinguished taste. I had the Indian quesadilla and some naan with cheese in it. My wife had a soup and some other delicious stuff. The vibe inside is very modern, yet casual. You have to be an adult to enter. It is 21+ only. The bar is nice as well. The drinks were really good and they have great signature cocktails to choose from. Overall, aside from the bad service we received, I recommend this restaurant for good Indian fusion food.

It was still creamy and kinda tasted like they combined milk with the syrup that the canned lychees soak in. You get a decent amount for 1 order and I think the sweetness is enough to cover 2 people.

I decided to take the menu to the side and use yelp to decide. Since I knew I wasn't saying the items correctly, I pointed. I ordered the DahvPuri or something, I pointed to it. Then I wanted to order garlic naan, again I pointed. She told me that I couldn't get the garlic naan because the other order was an appetizer. I explained that I wanted to ORDER it. In any case the woman's face was so stink, I told her never mind I was leaving. As I walked out she was shouting at me over her screen to come back. She can't even come outside to ask me to come back. If she had a better customer service attitude, and explained things it would have been different The restaurant is very bright but looks a bit dirty. Aalu tikki Burger - this is good, love the crispy aalu patti and overall burger. The chips was mediocre, it didn't feel fresh or crispy as you expect from potato chips! Chicken Masala burger - this isn't made with Patty but julienned chicken which makes the bun soggy for a take out order. It feels like the same chicken used in the chicken jungli roll. Chicken jungli roll - while the chicken was spicy and juicy, the roll was seeping of oil in the end. Chole batura - the baturas were small 3 baturas which were ok but the channa masala had 4 tsp of oil which i had to throw before even I tried to taste. Chicken biryani - this was a let down, the biryani has a rose water or a different unusual flavor that was making this biryani different than other biryani I have eaten. The chicken wasn't that tender either. The raita was overpowered with chat masala. Peri Peri fries were ok, the masala was different than what I have eaten before but the overall fries could have been better. Overall, the food is decent but each dish seemed to be missing something to make it really shine.

They have one of best themes that's going for an Indian restaurant. I loved the ambience. The event was also marketing Rupees Beer - a new entry in the market, a company originally based out of East coast but making its presence felt. They have beer based out of Basmati rice and I found the beer to be of really good quality. Very smooth and has a rice after taste. For the food, the samples I tried - appetizers were spot on. Really good appetizers. The Briyani on the other hand was about okay. However this being a fusion Indian restaurant I don't expect lot of authenticity there. The pani puri were interesting but I have had way superior quality in Vancouver - but yeah not a fair comparison. Overall recommend this place.

I could say the food needs more of this or that, but the point is being at a sports bar and having sports bar fun. If your here with some friends to do just that while also enjoying some food, your in for one heck of an experience. During my experience, my servers were pretty spot on with their suggestions for beer and food pairings. I only discovered this because I took their advice first and really enjoyed my food drink combo. Afterwards I tried to come up with my own combo and I didnt like it. Oddly enough other people had the exact combo I didn't like and they said they loved it. With that said, you should understand the vibe. This isnt an all out raging dive bar. Its more gentle and elegant than your average sports bar, but still sporty enough for beer and a few rounds of pool. Like visiting your rich friends gender neutral man cave. I hope I manage to make my way back to this location for more fun and food in the near future.

The restaurant itself is on the smaller side, and I noticed a lot of people were ordering takeout online while we were there. Food Portion sizes were fair for the price, and they offer many vegetarian and vegan options. Highly recommend getting the garlic naan with any dish. Foods tried: Garlic naan - Hot and fresh, slightly crispy with a nice savory flavor. Samosa appetizers - Comes with two, but they are pretty large and very filling. Chicken tikka masala - Served in a deceptively large portion and very savory. Lamb biryani - Kind of like their version of fried rice, served with a mild yogurt sauce on the side. Service Servers were friendly. The only downside was that the food took a little while to come out, but the wait was worth it. Overall I've been here twice already and will definitely be back again. The food I've tried so far gives me confidence that you can't really go wrong ordering anything off the menu.
