The staff here are genuinely kind, attentive, and welcoming. The chef himself even came out to talk to us, asked if everything was good, and shared his story. That personal touch really made the whole evening memorable. You can tell they care deeply about their guests. Now, the food -- fresh, flavorful, and made with care: * Noodles were made exactly as requested -- mild for my child -- and still packed with flavor. * Curries were rich and delicious without being overly oily or spicy. * Naan was fresh, light, and fluffy -- one of the better ones I've had in the area. * Dosa was crispy and simple but very satisfying with the accompanying chutneys. * Chili Paneer wasn't as spicy as I prefer, but the texture was spot-on -- crispy, well-coated, and flavorful. * Samosas were definitely worth ordering -- perfectly fried and nicely spiced. But the highlight of the entire meal was the Tokri Chaat. It came in these adorable bite-size, crispy edible baskets filled with chickpeas, chutneys, yogurt, and spices. So I am out of state, just passing through looked at it in the Yelp. After all the bad reviews, I believe in the second chances. The food was healed up, not fresh The staff talking crap about customers in Indian our station in Pakistan so I know the language. Not a pleasant experience with their food. I walked in and ordered to go a few weeks ago. The woman at the desk was friendly and ordering was easy. Food came out in a timely manner. I went here based on reviews and was hungry for indian food. My dinner, matar paneer, tasted really off. I ordered peshwari naan as well. Attached you can see a photo of what they call peshwari naan. So sad looking, nothing like any other indian restaurant where I've been. I tasted the naan and it was sad, wasn't horrid, but wasn't at all yummy. I opened it to find it's missing a lot of things. I only had a few bites of the paneer because it tasted like something was wrong with it. Later that night my stomach was not happy. If I were eating in there, I'd have returned everything. But, for a carry out order, I wasn't going to go back to return the food. I won't be going back here to try anything again. read more

First time here after seeing many good reviews and we were pleasantly surprised! Greeter/waitress was very friendly. Buffet had a smaller variety of dishes than what we're used to, but quality was very good! I especially liked the chicken tikka masala. Naan was fresh. Mango lassi had more of a natural, homemade tartness to it. Then only thing kind of meh was the spring roll. We didn't try the lo mein. Price was reasonable. Will be back for sure! read more

The outside of the restaurant does not look like much and neither does the interior decor but the food ,and service is pretty good. Menu has a mix of Indian and Nepali food which is reasonably priced. The buffet has a good mix of the two cuisines. Flavorful and with just the right spice level. Additional spices are available if one prefers more spicy food. No free refills on soft drinks if someone is expecting that. Definitely worth a try . read more

Honestly delicious and it's in the details. I'm Celiac/Gluten Free and Silbi helped me navigate the menu. The only things with gluten are of course the naan but for vegetarians the saag also. I'm vegetarian and the chef special veggie curry. Super simple veggie blend but the sauce was almost a spicier, more savory korma (I ordered medium, but I like spice that doesn't affect flavor) Also cleansed my palette with the cucumber salad with carrot just to break things up. I am swearing off Indian food unless I make it myself. Their serving sizes are the standard two cups of the main dish and 2 cups of rice brown or white. Each meal cost between 16.00 -18.00 and that is without Naan bread. This was my second time as this resturant just to make sure I gave it chance. The first time going there I ordered curry lamb with an order of garlic naan, what i got was 5 dice size piece of goat in 2 cups of curry sauce. You may has well called it soup. I was like where is the beef where is the food. The curry was good but again your eating just gravy and I had to fill up on the bread. So, this time i got curry goat thinking maybe It would a better experience and it's a nope it was worse. When I opened the top I thought I was going to get big chunks of meat Instead of meat I got bones and lots of them. Tiny pieces of meat and cartilage attached to the bone 95% bone 5 % meat. the total of this meal 22.00 and some change. I'm getting a better phone (one I can figure out how to use) because nothing speaks better than a photo. You go here get lots of bread because that will be the main course. read more

I make it very clear I want a high spicy level. Found this place on a strip mall during my visit to Hershey. Restaurant might look small from outside, but as you walk in, this place looks beautiful. The decor and the way the tables are set and there is a separate dining section. Booth type tables. Regular table sets everything looks great. They had a lunch buffet and decided to go with lunch buffet, I was greeted by a gentleman. I believe his name is Pushkar / Tushar from Nepal. He was great and had nice conversations on food, culture, and places. I was first to show up for the buffet, and they were still getting it ready The sections are separated out for vegetarians, which I like it. The flavor profile was more towards the north Indian style. They had dosa and sambar. I liked the tandoori chicken, chicken curry, and fish fry. The fresh garlic Naan was the best. The pakora, spring roll was tasty, and vegetable biryani was average. The chef did a good job on sambar. It's definitely a buffet worth trying !!! We found this place on our way up north. It was quiet and we didn't see any other patrons for lunch. The hostess guided us to try out the buffett over the lunch thali and in retrospect that was a good decision because the buffet menu was a superset of the thali. The food was ... okay. Although it looked fresh, there was nothing home to write about. Out of the appetizers, the bhajiyas were fantastic but averaged out by the spring rolls (which tasted like the frozen rolls you get at an grocery store). The curries and the lentils were okay. On the positive note, the buffet had a lot of variety. Being Indian, we have high expectations of the food we eat at restaurants; Indian Curry lounge is a half decent hole in the wall place and you'll be served well if you temper your expectations. read more

I stayed overnight nearby while traveling and my hotel recommended this place. I was soooooo impressed with the flavors and freshness. I ordered the thali and couldn't decide between the chicken or lamb so I just left it up to the kitchen to recommend and decide. The lamb was very tender and absolutely delicious! When I drive through again in the spring I will make sure to save this location in my favorites so that I can have a repeat meal! Dinner was so yummy and had a portion of the rice pudding I also ordered the sweet peshwari naan and a full order of the rice pudding to just eat for breakfast in leu of the hotel breakfast! First of all, It was my first time here. I didn't know what to expect, and I was blown away! The (very nice) waitress welcomed us so nicely and sat us down immediately, she took our orders so quick, and got our drinks quick too. The food took a little while, but they even brought us a like plate of pakora to eat while waiting (it was delicious) we ordered medium spicy, and it was very spicy and flavorful!
