Staff have always been kind, friendly, and accommodating. Prices are relatively reasonable. My only complaint is take-out curry portions are kind of small. They are served in pint containers. Coming here for four years, you see multi generational, Indian families, eating here, which is a testimony to its authenticity. The owner (see the picture) is Indian, and recently celebrated getting his green card. He and his staff give phenomenal service. Every time we come, the restaurant is very family-friendly. On another note, this is literally the best Indian food I've ever had, having eaten Indian food all across the US. You can't go wrong with eating here! Did some minor online research beforehand, jot down several items and use a little note to order at the counter (even for dining-in). Foreign food names confuse us because we were not Indian, Sri Lankan, Bangladeshi, nor anything ethnically close, but we know what good Indian food in NYC taste like. Everything was delicious overall, inexpensive prices, generous portions, and we saw the guys work hard in there!
