The Thursday before your delivery, you can see what you'll be getting in your delivery and swap out up to 4 items. You also get to set your produce favorites and dislikes, so if you're so over kale this summer, just specify no kale and they won't even offer it to you! You can also purchase other items, including local meats, cheese, dairy, eggs, breads, dry groceries, etc. I've even bought Michigan-made sriracha, local kombucha and line-fished salmon! They deliver the goods to your home, or you can register a co-op where multiple people pick up deliveries. My workplace serves as a co-op, so I get deliveries right to work and don't have to worry about not being home to get my delivery. (They will still deliver to your home if you're not there, just specify delivery instructions on your account) I have communicated numerous times with Doorganics, and their customer service is awesome. They are super quick to respond and always have a solution to any problem. They have a satisfaction policy, so if for some reason anything isn't right, they will correct it. One of my favorite things about Doorganics is that there are no fees to sign up, no contracts, and you can pause or cancel your deliveries at any time! I also love that it gets me to try new things. I'd never had a persimmon until I got one in my delivery, and guess what - I love them! I found the drunk noodles to be tastier, but I think that's more to do with the noodles themselves. Ordering was a little confusing as I normally order over the phone. I would definitely suggest using the Yelp app or another food service app to make it easier. It's a small kitchen and the staff is busy but courteous. The kitchen is in the East Town Sports Bar and they are separate businesses. Everyone I talked to was kind and helpful. I will definitely be adding this to my regular local bites.
