Plenty of parking. Offer players cards with plenty of perks. Medium size casino with varied slots and tables. Snack bar and bathrooms available. Clean.

Abysmal 2 stars. Really one star, just sorry for this place. This casino has not fared well. First the Covid, then well water problems. Then covid. In any case, pointless to gamble here: they have zero money for payouts. Table games have always been limited here, for no discernable reason, so they never had that as a draw. The machines are dead. Patrons rotate thru this or that one, hoping to catch a couple of thrills and/or bucks. All to no avail. Its pretty sad when you are betting 4 bucks, finally get a bonus, and then have the bonus pay out only $20. C'mon.

In the middle of nowhere you'll generally find a casino this like many other casinos is no exception as it's in the middle of like a ravine! Being this was basically the only thing in the area we stopped mostly for a restroom break but me being me I threw some cash down on the slots because why not as you know I didn't win anything so it was totally just for the few spins of it! They also had a complementary beverage station with some soda and other things we definitely grabbed a cup or two which was just what I needed at this time as this was just a stop lol! Overall a very non flashy casino in the middle of nowhere it was just perfect for a quick stop but not much more hopefully the next casino I visit I can gain back some of the money I've lost over the years! Hahahahaha wishful thinking!

Pirate welcoming us in by the front door.

It was fine, plenty of machines, though I missed single play video poker. Smoke free, a huge plus, and friendly staff. We went mid-week so the only food and beer was at the snack bar, but it worked. In two days the two of us ended only a bit down.

    Fried dough pizza!

We stopped here for a lunch-restroom break while road tripping to Bend Oregon for a relay race. When you're driving through this stretch of HWY 26, all you'll see are signs for fried dough, so of course, I was going to get it for the crust of my pizza! It tasted as you expected delicious for the first five bites and then instant regret. The sauce was just sugar and tomato sauce; the cheese didn't melt all the way. I had an immediate food coma within 20 mins after we left. But for only $10, I guess I expected what I got, but was hoping for more. It's casino food, what can you do. I kind of want to go back to see if they'd just sprinkle a little bit of sugar on the fried dough and go from there...

Did not hit any bonus's on machines. Some of the dealers were pleasant, some were not at all. Very few table games, not much fun.

I stay at hotels mainly for work so I typically just keep with the big names so I can keep a MVP status for perks like early or late check-in / out. I'm closing in on one of the lifetime MVP statuses and hotels were sold out in Redmond, so I booked a room here as BH was almost $100 more. This is a very basic hotel. I will say service is very friendly here and the breakfast is above average. The only morning I was here, they served pork sausage links, house potatoes, tortillas, salsa, cheese and scrambled eggs. The difference is that the eggs here are real vs the weirdly wet and tasteless reconstituted stuff they serve at the big chains. A couple made 2 extra pancakes and didn't want to waste them, so I took them. Kind of tough but good flavor. They also have cereal + milk, yogurt, toast, bagels, Otis Spunkmeyer wrapped muffins and hard-boiled eggs if you're on the run. The rooms are solid but basic. I got a good night's sleep on the king bed. I made use of the microwave for some pasta and kept my chicken from Oliver Lemon in the mini fridge for road snacks. However, if you have a lot of technology, the work desk has no power other than the wall outlet and neither the bed nor the work desk has any USB for your devices. Bring adapters! The other factor that kept my review modest was the big one. The wifi was free but very weak. My devices kept disconnecting and doing anything including just updating my browser required patience. If this place makes sense for my budget I'd stay here again, but I think I'll just keep trying different hotels in the area just to see what's there outside the world of Hilton and Marriott.

BUT, we were crammed into a 15x15 patch of grass for a campsite, which also included your vehicle. Flat rate of $150 for 5 nights. My Cherokee and tent almost filled the entire spot, only a few feet from neighbors. Everyone I saw and met were wonderful people, all here from long distances to have a life changing experience. But there were no markings on the "streets", hard to see at night which one is yours. Only 6 outhouses nearby, with long lines, scant toilet paper, and nearly filled on Monday. Heaps of garbage bags, essentially no garbage containers. Non-potable water was $1 PER GALLON, complete ripoff. No place to dump your grey water. No shade. Shower trailers such a long walk that I did not bathe for the 2 nights I stayed. Significantly, I never used my shuttle pass, both times on Sunday the buses either never appeared, or we were told "shuttles are cancelled, go back to camp." Could never use my Festival ticket. T shirt I ordered online weeks ago never arrived. Though they did charge my credit card. Food stands in the grass area were pretty good, hot air balloon rides (tethered) looked fun. Had heard the Festival itself was small and overrated. They charged $50 EACH for passes to the "kid's" area, which was also apparently not worth it. Madras ppl were very nice, but the venue was not well run. Well worth doing, but I felt taken advantage of, charged a lot for rather little. Some of the above are observations, not entirely complaints. Not sure how anyone could manage an event of such uncertain parameters.

We were here in the middle of the week and were fortunate to have the entire grounds to ourselves. I found the hikes and trails super easy and well-groomed. We just stayed in and cooked. Darren, our host, was friendly and kind. Zia, our yoga teacher, led a dynamic yoga session and was a delight to talk to. Best of all, we got to sleep in a comforble tent under the stars. We got to see constellations and shooting stars! We could hear coyotes in the distance. Duriing the day, we saw a family of deer on our hikes. Definitely bring flashlights, sunblock, bug spray and a good book, if you plan to visit. There are some games (Uno, cards, etc.) at the barn, so no need to bring your own unless you want to play in your tent. In the dining area outside the barn, you can okay horshoes, Cornhole or bocce. Would row for him again for sure. Rode a raft with a family my partner and I didn't know, it was a good time all around. Will probably hit up another tour next summer for fun, was worth it. Tips? Kinda? You could easily hit this and another outing in one day. Set your timing right and you could ride and then raft, this is certainly a good time but it doesn't take long door to door. If you care about pics sit in the front. If you're worried about rowing, don't sit on the right for big eddy (the guide will likely seat folks for safety and row power anyhow). Only real feedback has to do with the to/from transportation and driver sales pitch. School bus to the put in added a lot of extra time to the overall trip which made the short time on the river feel even shorter. And while Roberto our driver was lovely, the sales pitch for other trips that Sun Country offers prior to heading back to the main office felt very sales-y and drawn out. These guys can't help how the river and rapids are set up but they could be more efficient with time overall. My kids definitely had a blast and have been bitten by the whitewater rafting bug.
