I'm in love and feeling like a bad azz!! First of all, I am giving this location 5 stars based on the WOW factor!! So my daughter was participating in an event about five minutes away from here... I had planned to workout at the Y in Greenbrier thinking that was the closest to my current location... but I did a quick search for YMCA's in the area, and this location popped up! I was concerned at first, because I had absolutely no clue this place existed. Now I have no idea when this place opened...but it was only five minutes away from my baby. So I worked out here a few Friday's ago... the Y wasn't hard to find, but if you are not looking for it, you can easily miss this while riding up and down Indian River Blvd. I traveled this road weekly about four years ago because my baby attended school within walking distance from this location and I had no clue this location was sitting right here. Now the building sits back away from the street, so again if you are not looking for it, you can easily miss it. So I arrived about 6:30 pm and the parking lot was a bit full. The Y is located in a shopping center. As a result, the parking lot is shared with a handful of surrounding businesses. And the parking lot isn't well lit... be careful always. I walked in and was immediately greeted by the front desk employee. I advised this was my first time here, she offered to give me a tour, but I declined. She pointed me in the direction of the women's locker room and then I told her I'll find my way around and thanked her. The locker room is a bit crammed. Well in comparison to other Y's I have visited it's the most maze like set up. But I managed... There is an Olympic size pool (IMO) in the center... so as soon as you walk in the front door... you cannot miss it! The weight room is kinda small in comparison to my main location, but I managed. Alongside weights, cardio machines are located here as well. But the WOW factor comes in to play where most the people here working out all seemed to be fit! So working out on a Friday evening...I felt empowered! A great feeling! There's a functional room in which you can work out one on one or at your own pace away from the main weight room. I did step foot inside and completed a couple sets of dead lifts while two men worked out here as well. But they were not in my way AT ALL. If I am in the area again, I am speed walking to this location. I highly recommend you give them a try. If you are not a member the YMCA does offer free week trials for potential members and every year they have an open house for non members as well. There is an area available to drop your child(ren) off while you work out. And I am sure there is so much more that I missed here, but I was on a time constraint... but next time I plan to thoroughly check out the facility. Have fun and enjoy life :)

Had a great time at the pool and sauna room. Friendly staff. The facility just looks a little small to me.

BEST GYM IN THE 757! If you are on the fence about getting a membership here or somewhere else…read more. I'll tell you why Natural Bodyz is hands down the best in the area. 1. It's 24/7 and 2 great locations with full top of the line equipment. 2. The NB Fam - once you get a membership here, you just joined the most supportive community of gym goers I have ever seen. I've had gym memberships while living in multiple different states, even different countries and by far my NB gym fam is the best out there. Everyone wants you to succeed and reach your fitness goals. If you have a question about anything the trainers are all extremely knowledgeable and always willing to help out. Even that "scary muscle head" in the corner is the warmest, most encouraging person. No judgement zone, everyone has to start somewhere. 3. Never overcrowded, where you can't get on a machine or squat rack. Yes, like any gym it has its "hot times" where it gets a bit busy but it's never overcrowded or where you absolutely cannot get on a machine/squat rack. Each location has enough space and equipment to make your workouts seamless. 4. Awesome ownership. The owners of NB are very family oriented, supportive and care about their gym family. The support really shows because you aren't just joining a gym, but a gym family and thanks to the owners always being present because they really set the tone. 5. I have to shoutout my dude Chad. Chad is an owner and my personal trainer. That dude has helped me grow physically and mentally with his mentorship of the fitness world. Literally within the first month of training and reaching fitness goals that I never imagined hitting, I felt like a new person. Confidence increases, energy rises and the gym became a place I'd find myself hanging out chatting with the trainers and other members even after a workout. Fitness doesn't have to be a chore.. and at Natural Bodyz, you'll see it's a gym family that you will easily fit right in with. Just send it, it'll be the best decision you ever make. - Gio B @iamgiob I don't work for NB... just joined the fam without any knowledge of the fitness world and was welcomed with open arms.

Great location, private family gym, and competitive prices. We highly recommend Natural Bodyz.read more

This place is just a gym with too many rules. Here's what I've been asked to stop doing or even leave for: Swimming too slowly in the pool lanes Not playing tennis in the tennis court (my child and I were the only ones there, and we were playing) Bringing a child younger than 9 or 14 onto the track Playing basketball with a basketball brought from home. All the others are ALWAYS taken. They confiscated my ball. Going the wrong way in the pool. The lifeguard didn't realize that going against the current is a form of exercise. Walking the track instead of running Stopping next to the track Sitting on the exercise equipment. It had a chair that I chose to sit on for two minutes. No one was around. Today, two fellow members kicked me out because I had flip-flops on. They were right about it being against the rules, but it just reminded me of the pervasive culture of entitlement and snobbery that exists at this location. For context, I have memory issues, which is why I had flip-flops on at the gym.

Not only at this location but also other recreation centers as well! Parking is ample. You get full view of the pool to the left of the entrance and then the welcome/reception desk and even a peek at the indoor court. The membership signup was a breeze, the staff was helpful. Flyers of class schedule, pool and gym schedule and other locations are all available by the bulletin stand where you take schedule printouts. I cannot wait to start my early morning classes!

I now love lifting weights and I look forward to going to the gym and setting new goals for myself, both in and out of the gym. Not only have I lost weight, tightened my core after having 3 kids, and crushed my initial goal of getting stronger so I can continue to carry both my 4yo boys at the same time, I now have a newfound passion for fitness. Going to the the gym is now a pleasure instead of a chore. 10/10 recommend Zack and VBA Fitness.

Leading up to my wedding, Zack curated workouts for me, helped with my diet/macronutrients, and tracked progress via weigh-ins, measurements, etc. This was really helpful at first, and as I gained more familiarity with my nutrition & physical fitness, I was able to pare down to having Zack simply upload workouts for me on a routine basis which worked quite well. About a year or so later, I can say I have never been happier with my physical appearance. I didn't lose much weight (because admittedly, I didn't have much to lose), but my clothes fit much better, and I wear things I never would have felt comfortable wearing previously! More than that, I feel much stronger and healthier now. I don't need to ask people for help carrying heavy things, nor do I struggle with manual labor! I was even able to run a half marathon which has always been a goal of mine. Throughout working with Zack, he was always very kind, understanding, and happy to adjust workouts/dietary guidance based on my needs/travel plans, he helped me to think about body dysmorphia issues in a healthier light, and he expressed interest in my personal life which made working with a virtual trainer (as opposed to in person) feel much more normal! I would highly recommend anyone work with Zack!
