For my second visit, I had two appointment scheduled - one at 11:00am and another at 12:00pm. I called the office the day before at 11:57am, before my second appointment time , simply to reschedule. Instead of being treated with basic courtesy, I was met with rudeness. The staff member told me they charge a $100.00 fee, even though the office's own written policy in the Welcome to Practice section clearly states a $50.00 broken-appointment fee, not a rescheduling fee. When I questioned the discrepancy, the person on the phone became dismissive and even said " They didn't have to tell me anything". That level of disrespect in unacceptable in any healthcare setting. This wasn't an isolated incident. During my first appointment, my mother -who was sitting in the lobby- overhead the receptionist being rude to another patient on the phone. I also waited over two hours just to get X-rays and briefly speak with the dentist. No one even cleaned my teeth during my visit, despite it being my initial appointment. Between the inconsistent policies , the unnecessary $100.00 fee, the rude and dismissive staff, and the poor patient experience, I cannot recommend this office. Patients deserve, respect, and professionalism- none of which were shown here. Sorry, I forgot to say this occurred at the Indian Trail location. Sorry, I didn't look at all the negative review prior to going there.

On all of my visits, they require the patient to pay their higher Usual and Customary Fees as opposed to their contractually obligated in-network PPO fees. Refunds are made down the line to square the account but in the interim, the patient has forked over significantly higher dollar amounts. Why should the patients serve as their bank? I pushed back on this practice and was met with arrogance, smugness and general ugliness. The billing personnel clearly did not display any interest in understanding how the in-network PPO reimbursement worked. They even threatened to withhold treatment until I acquiesced to their higher fee payment request. It's a shameful way to treat patients and a black eye for such talented dentists and hygienists.

I love Pam sooo much! I have been going to her for a long time. She does a thorough cleaning and always gives me suggestions on ways to improve my dental health. My appointments are always on time and I always leave happy with my service. The receptionist knows me by name which is a nice touch! Dr Forrest is wonderful as well. The office was redone recently. The chairs have light back massagers in them and there is a tv to watch while you get your cleaning. I have never had an Insurance issue and have switched insurance companies a couple of times.
