I made an appointment, took the van in and explained that I read an online article stating that in most instances an oil change will solve the problem. I asked for an oil change to see if the article proved correct. I did not ask for a computer diagnostic scan. However, they did one anyway and charged me $60. When I called, they were unwilling to make any adjustment in the charge. They've had my business for several years and I've referred others to them. One would think a business would want to keep a customer and have the customer continue referrals. Seems like very poor business sense to me to not desire to satisfy the customer. Instead of a happy returning customer referring others they now have a person writing a nasty review and telling friends to stay away from this place.

Did not do all of what they said they were going to do to fix issues that they agreed they would fix. What they did fix they tried to use the cheapest replacement possible only to have to send it back and fix it right keeping the vehicle for about 10 days on one incident. A list was agreed upon at the signing of the final deal of what they needed to fix. On that list was all new wipers. 2 of the 3 wipers were initially replaced then repeated kept falling off with in the 1st week. A locale auto shop told us they put the cheapest ones on they possibly could find. They ignored us when we told them about it every time we had to bring it in for other items on the list. They were only fixing one thing at a time and each time we had to set up another day to bring it in. This went on for a couple of months. One day, after a scary day having to driving in the rain with broken wipers, I called them again. They told me which building I should take it to over the phone to have the wipers looked at. After taking a quick look at the wipers, they referred me to an auto place down the road or to Napa for the part to fix it. I reminded them that they are the ones that replaced them 2 months ago. The guy just said "yeah I don't know but you can go to such and such place to have them fixed or go to Napa. The 3rd wiper was finally replaced after several trips of driving several miles to their place. We spent a lot on gas driving back and forth. Another agreed upon item on the list was that it would be detailed. Salesman even assured us before we bought it how shiny and clean it would be on the inside. To this day there is still blood on the seat and the vehicle is filthy and just smells like dirt. Their detail job was a 15 min job if that as I had to sit and wait for them to do it after I was told it was ready to pick up when they finished working on it for the 4th or 5th time for other issues on the list. We always had to call them to find out how things were going while they had the vehicle during the first 2 months. Lot of smoke and mirrors at this place! The entire story is too long to write about here. I had a rear wheel clyinder,…read morefront shocks, steering gear box, oil pump gasket, oil pan gasket, and a drive shaft carrier bearing replaced. I was qouted 3 days of work, it took 8 days plus a weekend. When I picked up the truck the oil drain plug was loose, the air/oil mixing tube was disconnected, the rear drum brake was not put back together correctly, and the electrical plug for my rear abs was disconnected. I had to take it back for them to fix all of that. The day after I was leaving for south Carolina and I only made it to Marysville OH. My truck started to pour smoke out of the back of the truck I pulled over at a gas station and oil was coming out of the oil pan. If you are in need of any auto repair I would highly suggest going elsewhere. On top of the horrible service I never received a phone call from tuffys during the repair process. I only recived a call when they said it was done. I will never use tuffys again atleast not in fort wayne, IN. I am currently waiting on a tow truck.
