Wow...went here for the 4.5 stars, and totally disappointed. The Chicken Tikka Masala was runny and offered no taste. The naan was like a tortilla, not crisp, like a naan should be. Very clean, bright and not dark like too many restaurants, convenient parking, good happy hour, great beer selection both in bottle and draft including Indian beers, and the staff is attentive and friendly. The food is perhaps the best I've had in the Littleton-highlands ranch area. I had the lamb chops, just great others had various meals and all loved them. 5pm in a Sunday is kind of a weird time to eat, not really a late lunch, just a very early dinner (at least for people who aren't senior citizens). However India Kitchen II was ready and willing to give us the best Indian food experience of our lives. We were greeted warmly, promptly brought water, and given room to decide what we wanted to eat. We settled on chicken biryani and chicken korma (they even give a white meat only option, what!!) and regular naan. Pros: - both dishes had the most depth of flavor (sweet, salty, fruity, savory, meaty...so many) I've ever had in India food; I've been to India - the biryani was more than just oily rice and hunks of meat, it was nutty and tender rice with perfectly cooked chicken - the korma had clearly defined coconut and cashew notes, again tender chicken, and a creamy base that made me want more and more naan to make sure I was able to clean up every bit of sauce - the plain rice (which came with the korma) was again, nutty and well cooked; it was more than just a bunch of basmati rice in a cute dish...it could have stood alone as a dish - naan was nice, the perfect mix of fluffy and crisp (my only regret here was not getting the garlic naan) - gulab jamun for desert: warm, sweet, clear rose notes...and just the right serving size of those little drops of heaven - server was polite, kept refilling water promptly, and was SO friendly - price was great Cons: - we didn't have stomachs big enough to eat more of their delicious food We will be going back again soon, and telling everyone we know to go too!
