I had a healing and relaxing massage here during Labor Day weekend. The spa has a beautiful and inviting atmosphere. They even have a room that could accommodate three people. I was offered a complimentary mimosa on arrival. Chelsea is a very knowledgeable and excellent massage therapist. She has a personable demeanor and provided clear explanations during the massage. When I arrived I was experiencing pain in my hip and tension in my back and neck. Chelsea was able to address these issues and I left pain free and refreshed. My only regret is that I don't live in Big Bear. But I will say that a visit to Indigo Wellness alone is worth the drive up the mountain. read more

Came up for a few days of solitude and to soak up some of the Zen that the beautiful community of Big Bear offers. Fortunately, Indigo Mountain Wellness Center and Day Spa had solid reviews on Yelp and I was led to this serene retreat. The atmosphere from the moment I arrived was peaceful and tranquil. Ornately and beautifully decorated, the entire spa shows the attention to detail that carried through from owner to staff. I was greeted immediately by Katie who was thorough and informative about my options on spa services. Katie was extremely attentive, and offered some excellent suggestions that displayed her passion for her craft. I took her advice (and soft upsell ) ...and went with a combination of their specialized body therapies. -An enzyme treatment with deep cleanse, for my face. Katie applied a Eucalyptus and Honey enzyme facial that was truly blissful. It was gentle on my skin and left my face feeling rejuvenated and refreshed. -Next up, Katie went to work on my neck where I recently had a four-level fusion. The surgery left me with major subdural scar tissue and extremely limited mobility. And a lot of pain. Katie's compassion and depth of biological knowledge worked a true miracle. When she finished I felt completely renewed. The uplift in spirit and true zen are unmatched. Indigo Mountain and Katie truly provided a haven of renewal for my body, mind, and spirit. Found this gem when I was looking for a place to get a massage and facial before my wedding at the end of the month. Did not disappoint!
