I really enjoyed my experiences at Indigo Salon and Day Spa. Took a chance on them just from google/yelp for hair: cut, color. Wanted a place that was modern and fresh. Vibes were great as an elder millennial - "throwback" playlists, coffee and water options. Plenty of space at each station to hang a coat, put your purse, and set your glasses! (This is often an underrated and overlooked necessity) Check-in is downstairs in a boutique area, then you head upstairs to the salon with tons of natural light. Every surface and station was very clean and the towels and equipment were all fresh. Checkout is in the boutique again at the end. I would set future appointments upstairs in the salon and downstairs in the boutique depending on the day. I was also really impressed that Indigo values stylists at every stage in their career, especially those in their beginning years. Cost for services were very reasonable. Megan T. was my stylist each time and I loved working with her and our chit chats! She did great at understanding what I was looking for with colors and cuts (for what it's worth, I have curly hair and stay within a red color). She did great at listening to my goals, giving guidance and suggestions for my hair, and confidently checking in with me about lengths and colors. All of the assistants, clerks, and other stylists were super kind too. Always very welcoming at every interaction. Occasionally assistants help with washing hair and each person that helped in this way was awesome. Same attention to detail and care. Always felt refreshed and relaxed after hanging out with Megan T. (Thanks girl!) I'd recommend giving Indigo a try if you're looking for a fresh hair salon. If I wasn't moving out of state, I'd keep coming to Indigo and specifically scheduling with Megan T. read more

I love how everything at this salon is grouped into levels. For example for a hairstyle as you can pick a level one two or three and it's based on experience but also keep in mind that affects the price as well. Same thing with spa services. But the place is super funky always busy easy to get in and out of plenty of parking and it has a cute little boutique on the ground level with different things for sale. read more

Indigo is a very nice, clean and spacious place. The staff were very friendly and welcoming from the moment I entered . I loved the fact that the young lady that did my spray tan was very nice, she explained everything to me prior n kept me very comfortable during the spray tan. She talked to me the entire time which helped because your in an awkward position being sprayed naked but it was GREAT!! I will be going again if the situation provides. It's a wonderful feeling when you find a stylist who makes you look and feel good, and that's what we found at Indigo with Lindsay! She's been cutting my hair and my girls' hair for several years, and not only do we trust that she'll give us a stylish cut, but we like her immensely. What a lovely woman! She often has assistants, all of whom have been professional, friendly, and trained to give amazing scalp massages while you get your hair washed before your haircut. Quanesha is amazing (and is a stylist now because she's awesome), and my daughter thinks the world of Adrianna, who never fails to greet her with a welcoming smile and hello, even when she's not going to assist Lindsay. I'm sure she'll be moving up too:) I've also had massages done at Indigo, and was never disappointed. My husband went regularly for a while when he was experiencing back pain, and was exceedingly pleased. The boutique is stocked with products for all hair types, as well as oils, lotions, etc. They also have a lovely collection of jewelry and clothing. There is a reward system with which you receive points for every pre-booked appointment, and receive a gift card when you reach a certain amount. Love it! The staff is friendly, welcoming, efficient, and seem to genuinely enjoy working here. The decor is inviting, the work stations clean, and the furnishings comfortable. For these reasons and others, I highly recommend Indigo Salon, Spa, and Boutique. read more

Enjoyed my touch of luxury gift card today that my husband bought for me. I received a mani, pedi, facial, and massage. I upgraded the mani to a shellac and it was done very well by Rachel. The Polish isn't touching any skin edges and is very thin so I see it lasting a few weeks without raising and peeling off. The pedicure was nice but nothing out of this world. Probably just because it was the most basic pedi they offer with that day spa package. My toes look nice but I'd have loved sitting in a massage chair too. I was offered a wine slushee and it was delicious. Rachel was definitely my favorite staff of my afternoon there. She's gorgeous and down to earth and really knows the art and science of nail care. I would return to see her in the future. My facial was so so. I don't remember the girls name who did it but it was nothing I'd spend money on again. I'm also comparing it to a facial I had years ago where the esthetician extracted almost every pore on my face. This mini facial here just seemed to be her washing my face and using hot towels. I'm assuming the more expensive facials would be similar to what I experienced before. The 1/2 hour massage was nice and relaxing. The woman asked what pressure I wanted and did just so. No complaints! The only reason this place isn't getting a 5 star review is because the pricing is a little high (it's in cherry hill village canton-what do you expect?) but more so, the pricing is ridiculous in my opinion. The pricing is tiered by how experienced and requested staff members are. So, not only do you choose levels of every service, you also choose to pay more for a certain person. Like, do you call asking for the cheap girl? I just feel like that's nickel and diming the customer. The menu of services is not user friendly because of that odd tiered system and I feel like they'd get more business just having normal set prices. read more

As a result, I have found they have little ability to accommodate with only a few days notice. :( I often end up going to Ashka which is similarly priced and has a ton of availability, even for day of appointments. I love this place! They even had new magazines to read. I chill out with an Allure and have a blast. I like my pedicures done by Season, so relaxing! Headphones, a nice drink and utter serenity. She has a delicate touch and a quiet demeanor that really lets you just chill out. The polish still looks perfect several weeks after. She has given me excellent advice on maintaining my feet and preventing callouses and just is so sweet. Have your eyebrows done by Melinda. Fast, efficient and just beautiful. Not too thin nor too bushy, perfect arch in my normally flat brows too. She really listens to what YOU want and makes sure she knows just what would make you happiest. Another time, I had a last minute need for a manicure, they fit me right in with Shannon. She was friendly, chatty and just a great person to talk to. She gave good tips about my nails too. My nails looked incredible and lasted and lasted. I cannot say how much a quality nail technician matters but Shannon is one of the best, perfection. The front desk girls are so very perky and helpful too. Nice especially as I tend to come in a wreck, sweats and casual wear with not a stitch of makeup. Some places will treat you badly unless you come in dressed to the nines and looking hot. They offer you beverages and will even help you pick products. So much fun to chatter with them. All in all, it is off the beaten track but is just a fabulous place full of super friendly people. They truly are a spa, a place to really relax and that truly cares about your happiness, they deserve your business and you will not be sorry. Very disappointed. Place was dirty, loud and very chopped up. The waiting area was ver un relaxing as they keep a supply closet there as well and employees were in and out all the time. My mani/pedi was terrible. The pedicure station was a wooden bench that was very uncomfortable. The girls were sloppy, unsanitary and inexperienced. I had to have my manicure fixed twice then she just gave up. My sister and mom both had similar issues. Will not be returning. read more

I have been coming to Indigo for 9 months. Hailey has consistently done a good job on my cut however she excels at color and highlights. My hair is very short and at recent visit, paid a whopping $150 for a simple trim/cut and had my roots done (no highlights). I feel that her fee is excessive therefore I'm afraid I will be moving on. If your budget can accommodate the cost, I would hesitate to recommend Hailey. read more

I was desperate for a mani/pedi so I checked out the website and the reviews ... looked solid. They must be paying people to review because I have never felt more "taken" in my life. I've had mani/pedi's all over the country and this is one of the worst. It was over $50 for the "mani" which was just applying nail polish. That's it, she painted my nail. No lotion, no scrub just polish. Then came my $74 pedi. Evidently, the lady was a "Level" 3 very experienced professional. Really? She went through the motions but I've had better service and results from a $20 pedi. It's been 3 days and my polish is already peeling. The bottom of my feet are still rough and I'm down $119 plus $35 tip. I always tip even though I should not have. I definitely will NOT be back and please read the other reviews with skepticism. Some of them said their "wives" loved the place. I think many of the reviews are fake. read more

I love this place. I always go back. I am not really a "faithful" salon girl- I love trying new places, but after finding this place I'm hooked. Good prices for the level of service and treatments you get. If you're going to get your nails done or get a massage, arrive a few minutes early and relax with a warm wrap around your neck and a tasty beverage while you wait for your appointment! Update: I went back in the winter to get a pedicure and it was blizzarding outside. They actually offered to go get my car and pull it around so I could wear flip flops out and not ruin my pedicure. I have gone here on many occasions for my wife. She loves it - so it has to be good. My wife certainly would tell me if she had an issue. Any of these places is pricy - so I won't bother with commenting on that. You have to pay for the service and it is never going to be cheap. If I had to nitpick anything I might look for some more sales or bargain packages at times, but it is what it is...... I think my favorite thing about it (and I just buy the items for my wife) is the atmosphere. It is in an area of Canton that is the Cherry Hill Community. So it is in a way - a small neighborhood feel. At least regarding the Canton area - it is away from the Ford Rd. chaos. It is in a nice home-style / older and elegant building (not sure what the place was before). It is certainly not some mainstream brick and mortar building. The staff are all very pleasant. I can see for woman in going there - you might get lost in the relaxation for a day. I definitely recommend this for a man needing a place to purchase a gift for his wife. The staff was incredibly rude and disrespectful. I've been to indigo before all the Covid changes and it was a COMPLETELY different experience. Such a waste of time and money and left more stressed than when I entered. They no longer provide or allow you to eat or drink in the building, they don't offer heat wraps for your neck and shoulders and they expect you to wear a mask DURING your massage. There was no communication on their website or in confirmation texts about the new policies or all of the discontinued features that used to make you feel like it's a spa experience. I love Indigo! Reception is professional and friendly when arriving and making appointments. They have an incentive for booking you next appointment while you are in the salon. I really appreciate that because it keeps me on track. I see Rachel for highlights and haircuts. Her highlights are wonderful - soft golden blond with lowlights added in for dimension. She cuts hair really well and the cut holds it's shape. I see Kristen for massages. I do deep tissue and she is awesome! Just the right amount of pressure. Prices are very reasonable. I took one of my friends here for a birthday gift in the middle of february, and I loved it! I ended up doing a couples massage so that we could experience it together for her birthday and it was sooo relaxing. When you arrive you are put in a seperate room appart from the where you get the massage, and they have nice relaxing music, and also offer a hot towel type thing that goes around your back/neck area. As well as offering tea or juice or water. The women who did our massage had such a relaxing voice as well.. it really makes a difference. I also recommend the hot stone! This is only the 2nd time I have had a massage, and I will definitely be returning. The staffs friendlyness makes the experience that much more enjoyable. read more

I've been here a few times and have a mixed review. For me, the location is extremely convenient. It is always clean and the facility is always nice and well cared for. I've had a few different spa services and for the most part have left pretty happy. I went recently though for a facial which although I feel can be pricey (in general, not just here) they are usually worth it for me. After a long stressful week I personally just wanted a relaxing experience. The person who they put me with talked the entire time about their personal life, way over sharing. I felt like I was paying to be someone's therapist for an hour, which was disappointing and ruined the experience for me and made me feel like I wasted my money. I've been a client here for the last five years. My regular stylist is booked up so I saw an alternate for the second time. I think she may have been in a hurry to get out of there, she did not dry/style my hair at all and I left with wet hair after extensive highlights and a cut.
