Every now and then you can find a spa that checks all the boxes. Indigo is it!! I'm new to the area and did my research before settling on a spa that offered nails and massage services - it's not often that I get time to myself, so I wanted to make sure it was a one stop shop. Turns out, they offer so much that I can't see myself ever having to search again. To top it all off, Carolina and her team are so welcoming and friendly at each visit that I also found new friends. It's always nice when you enjoy the conversation as well as the services. Mani/pedi: I've had both Carolina and Teresa. Both girls are amazing and pay so much attention to detail. I have terrible cuticles and they were quick to offer a scrub solution and thorough shaping of nails and cuticles before perfectly applying the polish. They even have some cool color changing gel polishes that are a fun bonus. Massage: Lauren is phenomenal. She listens to where you hold your stress and goes to work on those areas with precision. Both massages have left me feeling like a completely new person. I've had many massages in my life, but few have fully carried me into the next week still feeling the knots worked out. And this is just after a few visits! I can't imagine how I'll feel after a few months. Overall: Indigo is a hidden gem in Summerport - I'm actually nervous to write a review because I want to keep it to myself! Quiet and serene, excellent service with a good product line. The owner is very receptive and communicates well. I've been to this location a few times, specifically for reflexology. It was nice to have a place so close that focused on this technique. The problems started the last time I tried to book an appointment online. When I called I was told the service would be indefinitely unavailable. It took me calling 4 times before getting an answer. Another thing I was never a huge fan of has to be all the different smells you get hit with when you walk into the salon. Too many different smelly soaps and potpourri. For those who are highly sensitive to things like that, it's very overwhelming. The therapist I had was very nice and very professional. I'm not sure if she is still there since they seem to no longer offer reflexology. If you are looking for just a massage place, there are other locations that I prefer. Ones easier to get in touch with, and get into. Unless the reflexology comes back, I probably won't visit again. read more

Great spa but they do not return messages or texts. Hard to get ahold of a person to schedule. I prefer one person there and I have not been able to schedule 5 times in the past 2 months because when I call I get an answering machine then a text and never get a response ‍. An oasis hidden in an apartment complex! Everyone here is incredibly friendly, professional and accommodating. It's your one stop shop for hair skin nails and body! The massages here are the BEST (Latasha is wonderful)! And champagne with every service? Yes please! I used to have the spa membership here but sadly had to cancel due to financial reasons. What an amazing massage. I was looking for a place to get a massage and found Indigo Spa through Yelp. I was able to get an appointment on the same day. I got there a few minutes before my appointment. There's a short ATMOSPHERE: It's hidden in Summerport, just a few minutes from the busy Publix plaza. The inside is very calming. There's a small waiting area inside. The massage area is set off to the side and have doors that can be closed to mask the noise from the salon area. There are two massage rooms - one with one tables and another has two tables. (Hint: They have couples massages!) SERVICE: How relaxing. I filled out a short form with basic information. Sheena was my massage therapist, and it was perfect. Before the massage, I was treated to a glass of champagne and strawberries. Pressure was great. She focused on the areas that I needed work on. The owner is really nice. Indigo Spa also offers nail services (manicure and pedicure), hair styling and cuts, as well as makeup applications. They have a membership for $99/month, which includes: choice of massage or facial, manicure, pedicure, yoga classes, and more. Unlike Massage Envy, they don't try to push their membership on you. It was strange they didn't use a steamer or mag lamp for my facial and used a tool to do the extractions on my chin, maybe that's why I broke out so badly after my facial. Sharifa is a phenomenal technician. I spent years Groupon-hopping since I've moved to Orlando. I've finally found me permament salon. I always get compliments on my highlights. I got my eyebrows done here today with a very young girl, and I thought it was a bit weird we were in the massage room with absolutely no light at all, and off the bat was asked if I wanted the tops of my eyebrows done(never have been asked that), but of course said yes- she did not wax them at all. In fact the only thing that was waxed was the middle of my brows and underneath, no trim or plucking at all(took only about 7 minutes, whereas I am used to getting them done for a good 20 minutes) All was well I thought, it was hard to see what they looked like when she showed me because the room was so dark. I paid, left a tip and left. Right when I got home I looked in the mirror and my brows were not only different shapes completely but also different lengths, which left me in tears because I am leaving for a trip in less than 24 hours. I ended up traveling to another place (Macy's Benefit Brow Bar..100% recommend) to get them fixed (which cost me even more money, but very worth it). The brow lady and coworkers agreed they both were off, one even commented "why would they let you leave like this, there is still hair everywhere, it is apart of a procedure to trim, and pluck" they tried their best to fix them, still a bit off in length because I like them long, but much better now. So all in all I am very disappointed, and will not be returning. read more

I went in there for a manicure and pedicure (had a free coupon for the manicure and was offered a 30% discount on the pedicure). The regular price for a pedicure was $55! WTH!! First of all, the water was lukewarm at best, the seats were like sitting on an airplane in coach, all upright and uncomfortable, and I walked away with a cut on my right toe! It explains why I was the only person in there from what I could see. Lovely looking location but with those prices I don't see people banging on the doors wanting to go in, especially when the service is less than stellar. I had my very first facial by Rebecca today. I was welcomed and offered water or hot tea. They had a very nice selection of tea which I enjoyed. The spa is BEAUTIFUL, clean and calming. Rebecca was very helpful with her consultation, she helped me select my facial and PCA peel. My skin is absolutely glowing, glowing!! It feels soft and clean. I have just moved here after spending the worst winter of my life in West Chicago. I felt like my feet were well overdue for a pedicure after becoming incredibly dry and flaky. I also figured with interviews coming up, I would get a brow wax as well to try to look somewhat professional Everyone greeted me and asked me how I was doing the second I stepped in the calm oasis. There was relaxing music playing in the background. I was asked twice if I wanted anything to drink. I decided I was a little thirsty by the second time. I figured I would be handed a plastic bottle of water, but no! I was handed an actual glass with ice water!(I must visit really cheap places.) The pedicure was so relaxing. I just sat back and let her do her magic as I zoned out. I notice a huge difference in my feet. Nice and soft! Not dry and cracked! My eyebrow wax was over with rather quickly without the agonizing pain I am used to. My eyebrows are so hard to shape, but she did it with ease. I have had no reactions to either spa treatments. While vacationing in Orlando, I found this spa close by with great reviews. I typically get a gel manicure and pedicure every 3 weeks or so back home and am REALLY picky. The spa is tucked away in a neighborhood so there's hardly any foot traffic, but I walked in without an appointment and was seen in 10 minutes. The staff is friendly and the spa is beautifully decorated and relaxing, with soft music and low lights. It's the kind of place you go to disengage and pamper yourself for a few hours. Their regular mani/pedi combined was about $60, which is practically double what I pay back home, but they do have specials as well as discounts for first time customers. The pedicure massage was amazing and the lavender they placed in the water while my feet soaked smelled heavenly. They have organic and low chemical polishes and products, offer you a nice assortment of beverages, and were a real treat. read more
