So, let me preface by saying I've never been a habitual spa-goer, my idea of a good time has never been to have cucumbers over my eyelids, etc. etc. etc. That being said, I have a fabulous time at Hand & Stone each time I go, feeling all the more relaxed and focused every time I leave. I was first introduced to Hand & Stone as a gift from a friend. They gave me the option of choosing either a one-hour massage or facial, to which I chose the facial. After asking the front desk about the most popular estheticians, I booked my appointment with Destiny. Destiny is fantastic. She is very knowledgeable about the services and products, and talks you through after and preventative care. I actually became a member of H&S after my first appointment with Destiny. As far as the reception staff, they are always very pleasant and accommodating. I truly started taking my self-care more seriously after becoming a member here. I recently received another gift card here as a Christmas gift, and I am SO excited to use it. Their multiple locations across several states make it easy to gift a massage/facial to family/friends elsewhere. Pick Hand & Stone!

    Ready to relax!

I've never had a massage at a franchisee location like this before, only at full spas and usually while on vacation. My husband gifted me with a couple's massage here to celebrate 5 years of being together, and I truly did not know what to expect. We were advised to arrive at least 15 minutes early to fill out our medical paperwork/release forms. The lobby area is small, but inviting, and has a few amenities in the waiting area (water, mints, and chocolates). Our masseuses came to greet us shortly after our arrival and they were both attentive and accommodating. The treatment rooms were small, but functional. Hotel and day spas really evoke a feeling of serenity everywhere you turn, with aromatherapy wafting through the halls and gentle music; Hand & Stone lacked this, but once my eyes were closed and my masseuse went to work, it really didn't matter. All in all, this was a very functional way to remove some tension and relax close to home. It's also much more affordable than the spas I've experienced on vacation. Certainly a place I would return.

    Waiting area beautiful.

First time going to Hand & Stone. I've had a membership w/ Massage Envy before and have been to Asian massage spas as well, so I'm no spring chicken. This was the BEST massage I've ever had, EVER. Jennifer did her THANGGGGG!!! Book her. I added the Biofreeze and Peppermint Aromatherapy to my Swedish massage. I will be going back and may even become a member.

It's been some time since I had a massage club membership, but the opening of Hand and Stone in Windermere made me cave in almost immediately. This place is so conveniently located, super fresh and new, and the entire staff has been nothing but wonderful. I've had a number of therapist work on me in the past 5 or so months, but huge shoutout to Sonia and Tarasheka. They, as well as other therapists, have helped me with my chronic low back issues, sciatica, as well as my tight, slightly rolled forward shoulders. I'm not the easiest client, and by that, I mean that I have a number of issues that need a lot of work and a lot of specific pressure, and I've been treated so well at this location. The number one tip would be to make sure to communicate clearly and specifically with your therapist. When making an appointment, ask the front desk for someone with "deep pressure" or "long strokes" or whatever it is you're looking to get out of your massage. They will pair you with someone who is a good fit for your needs. I'm looking forward to having a long-term relationship with this spa. So excited!

Ask the Community - Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa

How much do 30 minute and 1 hour massages cost?

Are you currently doing couples massages? We received a gift certificate for one and would love to book but with COVID I know procedures may be different.

Thanks for reaching out! We are not currently performing couples massage at our location, but you could use the gift card for two individual massage services. Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

I am looking for a 3 to 4 hour spa experience for my daughter and her husband. Disney is very expensive(starting at 740). Does anyone know of a spa near Disney that offers transportation as part of a package?

I highly recommend the spa at The Four Seasons on Disney property. They may be similarly priced and they do include transportation. Other than that the Woodhouse Day Spa on Sandlake Rd is a close Uber ride away. Also the Ritz Carlton has a great spa…

I booked the Allora Signature package and spent the entire day relaxing and enjoying every service. Next time in town, I will definitely book another Allora spa day. The only change that would have made my experience better is if I did not have to leave the room. Between services, you exit the room and sit in a chair located in a small hallway until the next service. It would've been better and more relaxing, as the client, to stay in the room for all services. Understandably, the spa is small and they do their best to ensure comfort despite the necessary merry go round. This is NOT a deterrent from returning by any means but it did catch me off guard. Gratuity is added and given to an each team member. My appointment was scheduled over the phone which allowed me to customize a service included in the package. They ask you to arrive 20 minutes early, but there's no reason to: no tour, no walkthrough of the services, no robe, no changing room offered, no one even pointed out the restroom. I was handed a drink and told to "go down the hall, take a right" to the tea room. No escort at a supposed luxury spa. My 90-minute massage started 5 minutes late and ended 13 minutes early. I paid for 90 minutes and received 72. Back in the tea room, another guest's child was playing in the candy, the fountain, and the drinking water while I waited another 10 minutes past my scheduled time. The facial was not the anti-aging facial described just basic rubbing and dermaplaning, delivered after I could hear staff gossiping in the lobby. The "hand and foot treatment" was a dry rub with exfoliation gloves before strapping on lotion-filled gloves and booties. The scalp massage was so perfunctory I asked the technician to stop and end the service early. It felt like they were padding out the clock to make up for time shaved off everything else. Think Massage Envy at triple+ the price. If you're considering the top-tier package here, don't. There is nothing signature or luxury about it.

Turns out, they offer so much that I can't see myself ever having to search again. To top it all off, Carolina and her team are so welcoming and friendly at each visit that I also found new friends. It's always nice when you enjoy the conversation as well as the services. Mani/pedi: I've had both Carolina and Teresa. Both girls are amazing and pay so much attention to detail. I have terrible cuticles and they were quick to offer a scrub solution and thorough shaping of nails and cuticles before perfectly applying the polish. They even have some cool color changing gel polishes that are a fun bonus. Massage: Lauren is phenomenal. She listens to where you hold your stress and goes to work on those areas with precision. Both massages have left me feeling like a completely new person. I've had many massages in my life, but few have fully carried me into the next week still feeling the knots worked out. And this is just after a few visits! I can't imagine how I'll feel after a few months. Overall: Indigo is a hidden gem in Summerport - I'm actually nervous to write a review because I want to keep it to myself! It's obvious that the spa is much more than a job to anyone who works there. The membership is steal too - $99 for a mani/pedi and a massage or $149 for a mani/pedi, massage and facial. I originally booked this appointment after attending Bella Collina's Girls' Night Out event. The event itself was wonderful, and the spa offered special pricing if services were booked that evening. My mom and I both booked treatments, so I was genuinely looking forward to this visit. Instead, I experienced one disappointment after another. From the moment I called for directions after my GPS brought me through the wrong entrance, the tone of the interaction felt cold and unwelcoming. When I arrived, I immediately noticed the difference between Bella Collina and other luxury spas I have visited. There was no warm greeting, no orientation to the facilities, and no one escorting guests from place to place. I was simply pointed toward the locker room and later told where to go for my treatment. Those details may seem small, but they are exactly what separates true luxury hospitality from an average spa. The interaction with my massage therapist made me especially uncomfortable. She asked whether I wanted the complimentary scalp massage. I explained that I was wearing a wig and would prefer not to have it. Instead of accepting my answer, she continued asking me the same question multiple times. As a Black woman, that exchange felt deeply uncomfortable. Black women wear wigs and other protective styles for many reasons, and I have never before had someone fixate on my hairstyle during a spa treatment. Whether intentional or not, the repeated questioning demonstrated a lack of cultural competence and left me feeling othered rather than cared for. The massage itself was unfortunately the worst I have ever had. Instead of relaxing, I became increasingly tense. I found myself asking to stretch throughout the session because my muscles actually felt tighter as the massage continued. That has never happened to me before. The facial was excellent, and I want to acknowledge that. My esthetician was knowledgeable, professional, and gave me thoughtful advice about my skincare goals. She was the highlight of my visit. Unfortunately, the problems continued afterward. I asked if I could pay before changing into my swimsuit so I could enjoy the spa pool, but I was told no because someone would have to walk me outside. After changing, I returned wearing my swimsuit underneath the spa robe and was immediately told I could not wear the robe outside. At that point, it felt like every interaction centered around another rule or another correction. Instead of feeling welcomed or accommodated, I felt policed. Hospitality should make guests feel comfortable, not constantly worried that they are doing something wrong. Eventually, I decided to leave instead of using the pool because I simply did not feel welcome anymore. The most disappointing part of this experience was not just the poor massage or the lack of luxury service. It was leaving feeling that the staff lacked the cultural awareness necessary to make every guest feel respected and included. That feeling stayed with me long after I left. Bella Collina markets itself as a luxury destination. Luxury is not just beautiful buildings or expensive treatments. Luxury is exceptional hospitality, thoughtful service, and making every guest feel comfortable and valued. Sadly, that was not my experience.
