In my search for a new organic butter supplier, I found Indira Imports. My first visit Mizan was very helpful. Fresh butters, exceptional quality oil. I look forward to becoming a repeat customer.

The perfect combo for a brighten, dewy and supple skin.

I love Indira Imports: 1. Clearly states their commitment to organic and chemical-free products in their marketing materials and product descriptions. 2. Sources ingredients from reputable and certified organic suppliers to ensure product authenticity. 3. Provides transparent information about their manufacturing processes and quality control measures.

Woo Hoo! Got to go to one of my favorite places. LOVE this place for so many reasons. I cannot think of any other business that brings me such peace. Is it my love for India? Tonics, tinctures, wonderful scents or making things? No doubt a combination. But I literally cannot stress the peace this store brings me. In downtown Los Angeles to boot! Like a kid in a candy store, I could go absolutely crazy! Love it all! Latest find this past week was buying some really huge incense and having them scented with any scent I wanted. So many to choose from, but I knew what I wanted. Had them scented with frankincense and myrrh. DIVINE! Rest of my supplies (and herbs) will be used in a regenerative lotion. Cannot WAIT to use. Thanks Indira Imports again for your beautiful store, knowledge and great customer service. Hope to see you soon!

I've been a loyal customer of Indira Imports for 23 yrs. I've referred many, many people to them. First discovered them, as an employee of the City of Inglewood. Mizan was little, but his father owned & entire family helped in store. All WONDERFUL, GREAT people. They were on Manchester between LaBrea & Market. At that time, they had 200 perfume & cologne oils, etc. Then, he moved to the back of his mini mart on Myrtle in Inglewood. He had over 400 oils. Every designer, etc out there. Then, to 11th & Olympic. Now, new location. Over the yrs, I've purchased soap, shea butter, body & household oils, and hair & facial & aging products. Had Awesome long conversations about life with the owner. His wife, brother & entire family were always pleasant. I usually call ahead, place my order & it's ready when I arrive. The last time I went into new location, there was an older guy who was not too friendly & a little impatient, but he lightened up when he saw I had texts with Mizan & he was on speed dial. Lately, Mizan ships it to me. As I knew the quality and vast amount of their products, I can't let 1 person who has a bad day stop me from buying what's worked for me for over 2 decades. Try Indira Imports! You'll be Happy you did!

great customer service ! Really resourceful. The best pure essential oil in town. Love the satay incense good price

Everything except rose buds were bought from store. Actually going back for rose buds because they looked way better than what I bought!

I had to write a review for my friend Mizan! This is one of the best stores I have been to and I have been buying butters and oils for years. Considering the location (in the heart of Fashion District), the store is actually bright, clean, and inviting. There are all types of butters, oils, soaps. There's even sage (locally gathered!) and Himalayan salt lamps. And the prices are really good and fair. If you're buying wholesale working with Mizan is also a pleasure. He's knowledgeable and prides himself on having high quality products. And out of all the places I've been to I must say his butters and oils are of high quality and you can really benefit from using them!

The best spot for natural ingredients/products - they literally have everything you need + more!

Very far from me now. They don't ship. Parking is very difficult. Busy area in downtown L.A. Priced reasonable. Selection is great!

Maneki Neko also operates a sister concept store called CATCH Little Tokyo located on the third floor of Japanese Village Plaza. [Parking]: As long as there are no special events in Little Tokyo, the Aiso Parking Garage (101 Judge John Aiso St) is your best bet. [Selection]: The shop has transitioned from primarily selling traditional decor / ceramics / cosmetics (which the shop still carries but in a smaller section) to focusing mainly on plushies and blind boxes featuring IPs like Sanrio, Pokémon, and other Japanese anime. Even though an officially licensed Sanrio store is located next door, Maneki Neko still has an excellent selection of Sanrio items that you can't find at the next-door licensed Sanrio store. [Conclusion]: This is one of those shops where I can probably find a Sanrio plush that I am willing to buy as a gift. It is a perfect example of a thriving shop that has learned to adapt by keeping up with changing consumer tastes.

The shop itself is on the smaller side, but they really pack a lot into the space. They carry a little bit of everything from snacks and blind boxes to household items and stationery. There's also a huge selection of Sanrio and anime merchandise, so it's a great place to find cute collectibles or small gifts. Whether you're shopping for yourself or looking for something fun for someone else, chances are you'll walk out with something. The staff has always been friendly during my visits, and while the store can get pretty busy at times, the overall experience is still enjoyable. Prices are fairly decent for the area which is definitely a plus. If you happen to be in Little Tokyo and enjoy browsing cute or quirky shops, I'd definitely recommend stopping by--it's worth the visit!

Every time I come here I always end up spending a couple hundred for big hauls because I want everything haha, but prices aren't bad at all. This last time I got a free diffuser as a gift with purchase! They also suggested buying these Japanese cough drops since I was headed to a concert (which - good looking out! was absolutely needed and helpful). They even checked the ingredients in Japanese to make sure that I wouldn't have any allergic reactions which was so sweet! Service has been consistently great every time that I've visited here. This last time I went was super early on a weekday though, so wasn't busy at all. It was shortly after they opened because I happened to have an appointment in the area and needed some beauty products for a trip. They were great with answering all of my beauty questions! The only con may be parking when it's busy or later in the day. I've tried coming here at night before but struggled to find parking when the lot was full and there weren't any spots on the street nearby. So definitely try to plan to come earlier in the day/when it's less busy.

However, I believe there is room for improvement when it comes to customer service. On multiple visits, I've noticed that one employee, who regularly wears a face mask, appears to follow me throughout the store while checking what is in my shopping basket. At first, I assumed it was a coincidence, but during my most recent visit, my friend noticed the same behavior. Being closely watched while shopping creates an uncomfortable experience and makes it difficult to browse at ease. As a person of color, this interaction was particularly unsettling. I hope management takes this feedback into consideration so all customers can feel welcomed and comfortable while shopping.

We were interested in stopping because it was our first time there and wanted to see it, however, we only had approximately one hour to explore. The shopping center wasn't too busy yet since it was so early, but also most all of the stores were closed as well. We did not get the complete experience of everything that this mall offers. A couple of bakeries were open when we visited and I am glad that we stopped! They allowed us to get some sweet treats and pastries, and they actually became one of the highlights of our trip to Little Tokyo! Although some of the stores weren't opened yet, it was great just to explore the area! All of the storefronts at the mall and surrounding Plaza were decorated for the holiday season. This brought an extra layer of charm to the shopping trip and helped create a cozy, festive ambiance! The quietness of the early morning hours created a amazing environment for us to walk through and enjoy our short little excursion to this beautiful shopping center! Although my visit was brief, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I would love to go back again, but next time during afternoon or evening hours when all the shops are open so I can finally see everything the Little Tokyo Mall has to offer!

I've seen Anime Jungle evolve and take over the entirety of the underground mall area. RIP to Fairytale Boutique, Fickle Wish, Xenon, and the day and age where Anime Jungle had their own dedicated shop for visual kei and J-rock. Never forget what you've lost. Other businesses have come and gone, like the mochi ice cream place. If you ever get mochi ice cream at the supermarket, it's likely from them and the macaron place that I loved, but alas, tis the world we live in. Other than the Anime Jungle that I go to and Little Akihabara LA for their pop ups and events, I also go to Monkey Pants, sometimes I swing into the Sanrio shop (they usually do the character meet and greets here, if not at JapanLA or somewhere egregiously far), Tokyo Japanese Lifestyle (they got staff POSTED there due to the thefts I'm sure, but I've gotten my bearded dragon keychain here and now I have them in all sizes), Catch (located on the 3rd floor and is MASSIVE for blind boxes and other goods), Neko Stop (I've gotten better deals here than the location in the Santa Anita Mall), and I've stopped in the Nijiya when I've been trapped there to get snacks or some bottled tea. Love the bakery there and the meat buns that they have (despite prices constantly rising due to the capitalist hellscape we live in) and the cafe to get affordable savory dango and takoyaki. The okonomiyaki place is one of the best, if not only places to get okonomiyaki at a place dedicated to the dish. Once in awhile they do a collab with multiple restaurants, not just at the mall too, such as Silent Hill F, Reincarnated into a Slime, during AX, Arknights, etc. Really drives the crowds and businesses here which is nice. Parking at the structure is a bit pricy and can get super fisted with bad drivers though, so keep that in mind.
