Oyster wings. It is exactly what it is. Wings drenched in a Oyster sauce mix with garlic. A bit too salty for my taste.

Quick and friendly service. We ordered their famous giant eggrolls, oyster wings, and ribeye pho. The eggrolls were crispy and flavorful with the dipping sauce. The pho broth was rich in flavor with a good noodle portion. The oyster wings tasted decent. Overall, the food came out quickly and were warm, not piping hot, which made the service and the meal pleasantly quick. We were in and out in about 30 minutes which is great when you're on a busy schedule.

Wow, the Hot and Spicy (Lemongrass) Chicken was much better than last time! Tender boneless skinless thighs (about ten of them) in a rich, spicy sauce and translucent onions blew me away. Fragrant lemongrass and red pepper flakes brought the heat and the meaty thighs are perfect vehicles to absorb the flavors. The Egg Rolls are always spot-on and this time the fish sauce was properly made and so good I drank any leftover sauce. Stop judging me, I was at home! Lol. It was a very successful dining experience.

The place looks clean, friendly, and has good parking. So what's the problem? The taste. It's over oiled and under flavored. fried rice: dry, flavorless, miserable egg role: crunchy, also dry, not as miserable egg fu yung: no complaints, actually fairly good spicy chicken: meh on spice, okay flavor...kind of, cooked well Honestly I just can't get over the disappointment of the rice, and lack of flavor. The staff were great, the food was done very quickly, but where is the flavor? It all tasted so similar and so oily.

Que Viet has been a staple for my families for 20+ years! I have fond memories of picking up our favorite dishes when I was a kid and all of these years later, it is still one of my favorites. It's one of my favorite booths at the MN state fair and for any other time I'm wanting a delicious meal. Went in for lunch today and ordered the best: chicken fried rice, savory cream cheese wontons, eggrolls, and chicken fingers. Everything was served hot and quickly! The service was superb as always and it's always a comfy and warm environment. They are open 11AM-2:15PM and 4PM-8:30PM daily, so be sure to go between those times. It never disappoints!

I've been coming to this location for years. Today I was so disappointed with what we were given that I won't be back again soon if ever. We ordered their famous egg rolls and could tell that what we received was old that was refried an old grease and given to us as fresh. Additionally, due to their register, not working, they were only accepting cash. That meant that we had to go get cash and then come back for our order. Considering the inconvenience on part of the customer, it would appear they would be willing to provide a discount for the inconvenience. I had to go to two different locations to obtain cash so I wouldn't be assessed a fee. I'm sure they can do better considering how much we have supported their business in our neighborhood. Do better be better!!!

Been in the mood for a nice egg roll, so decided to give this place a try as we were driving through Brooklyn Park. Visited mid-week around lunch time. Placed our take out order in person and told it would be ready in about 15 minutes, and the promptness was superb. Food was hot and delicious. The ladies were welcoming and friendly. A little bit of a discount for paying with cash vs a card. Chicken chow mein was different than I've had before, but taste was delicious. It seemed more like a stir fry. Unfortunately, it did not come with rice like in use to, so not sure if that's normal or if there was forgotten. Lo mein was some of the best I've had. The amount of vegetables and I love the smaller rice noodles. Perfectly seasoned and delicious. Wontons and eggs rolls were great as well. Wontons had like a hint of garlic taste. Eggrolls are beyond huge! Perfectly crisp and yummy. Lots of people were coming in for lunch and picking up their takeout. It's a little bit of a hole in the wall with dim lighting, but also natural lighting. Many tables and booths for seating and a small area to sit at for takeout. If I'm in the area again, I'd definitely stop for the lo mein and eggrolls for sure. Portions are definitely 2-3 meals worth.

Not like it used to be. Tonight was our first time ordering in a couple years. We ordered over the phone for pickup. We were quoted 15 minutes but in total waited 30 minutes for our food. The cream cheese wontons, you get 6, were average and needed more filling. The butterfly shrimp, you get 5, were overcooked and chewy. Egg rolls, you get 2 per order, while their huge they are grease bombs. Fried rice was ok but again everything is so greasy. We paid $43 for those 4 items for pickup. Way to expensive for a bunch of fried greasy food.

We used to go when they were across the street in the small space. To me this is the OG Vietnamese place to recommend when people ask where to get great Vietnamese food. Food is always good and service is great. It has been a long time since I've been here and I'm glad to see they still have a lot of options available, even weekend specials. I had to taste the banh cuon since that is a weekend specials and not easily found in restaurants. It did not disappoint. The nuoc mam was perfect. Filling was good but I wish there were more fresh herbs for garnish. Bun Bo hue was filled with meat and protein!! I can't believe how much was in there. I normally don't like a ton of meat but this was so tender I ate it all. Pho was good. Broth had a strong star anise flavor but I like that. The mi hoanh ton soup was good but not the best. The wontons were huge! I appreciate the amount of protein in it. Cream cheese wontons flavor was good, wish there was more than 4 pieces per order though. Nem nuong serving size was pretty small. Wish we would've ordered the nem nuong spring rolls instead. Bubble tea tasted like strawberry milk, very sweet. Not my favorite but my daughter gave it 10/10. Salmon rice was good, we were able to add eggs for $4. The chili oil is very hot so be careful how much you add. 4% discount if you pay in cash. Gratuity added for parties of 5 or more. Easy to grab to go at the front if you are in a rush. We grabbed more to go after we ate too. The tri color dessert was ok, not my favorite but I liked the sweetness of the coconut milk in there. We grabbed a banh mi that was ready to go and that was good! Bread was crispy, but maybe too much bread ratio to filling. Banh bao was massive too, expensive for $8.

Like you know when you go to a restaurant and they make you feel like you are there for them and not the reverse? Disinterested, disengaged server who didn't check back. It felt like we were an inconvenience. Also, it's 2026 so it's weird when the server dismissively leaves one check without asking how to divide it for a party of six. Pretty weird. ANYwhoo the only thing our service guaranteed is that I won't be back. Well thinking I would go to Pho Hua instead, I pulled intonthe Shuang Hur Grocer's parking lot thinking I'd grab a few things before heading north on Eat Street. Then I saw signs on the Shuang Hur building for a (new to me) Vietnamese joint in the same building. Boy was I pleasantly surprised! My Huong is an 8-top hole in the wall across the parking lot from the rear of El Nuevo Mariachi Restaurant. The place is homely, small, but brightly lit and plenty of day light through the picture windows overlooking Eat Street. It's a big contrast to Pho 79 type places that are dim and short on ambience. The clientele shows. Instead of just a bunch of Asians throwing down Pho, it's a mix like you'd see at Quang or Eat Street Crossing. I was seated right away, was greeted by a cheery Vietnamese lady, and ordered Hu Tieu Bo Khu (Beef Stew Noodle Soup.) It was a dish I haven't seen before even though I have been to so many Vietnamese places (see my other reviews and lists.) The dish came very quickly, and I was shocked that they didn't bring it with a veggie plate. Oh well. Well the best way I could describe Hu Tieu Bo Khu, its basically a pot roast over noodles. So the beefy broth like a less spicey version of Bun Bo Hue, with flavors of lemongrass and star anise, nicely garnished already with what would have been on a veggie plate. The broth was delicious, slightly sweet with the carrots, and the beef was fall apart amazingly stewed with deep flavor. There were other menu items like Curry Chicken pho and a Stewed chicken rice dish I'd have to return and try!
