When approaching checkout an employee whose name tag was removed during our conversing decided to eagle eye us in particular while checking out. Which was fine; but in the middle of checking out she came over and pushed her way in and started pulling things out of our bag and ripping tags off the clothes and told us to move over to the other checkout counter. She didn't want to make eye contact to tell us why she was having us moved or even answer my question as to why. She proceeded to grab all of our items and had us go to the checkout where her manager was, so I told him I thought it was extremely targeted and rude that she couldn't tell us what we were doing that she didn't like. He said he would talk to her and when I proceeded to ask for her name no one would tell me and he said to use his name since he was the manager. BUT I feel like her attitude was completely uncalled for and when I did ask for her name she had ripped her name tag off so I couldn't see. Then with other customers that were seemingly in her mindset, she decided to laugh. My friend told her don't laugh and I told her if she kept that up I'd get her fired for harassment. Their treatment of us today was appalling - I'm guessing she just assumed we were stealing and not scanning things. All she needed to do was ask us to double check and we wouldn't have had an issue with proper and professional communication. What is wrong with a little eye to eye communication? We feel sorry for her next victim! They shouldn't have people up front who aren't friendly in their interactions with customers. Anyways, they're teaching their employees to be way too over the top and singling people out who don't deserve it. This one location in particular needs better employee training and more friendly communication if you'd like people to keep shopping. The store itself was pretty organized, but with as many savers as there is, I'll avoid this one!

**April 2023: Weekday Afternoon Visit**…read more I had planned to visit the Goodwill next door and figured I'd check out Habitat for Humanity since I was in the area. It's a medium size space with a lot of random things. There's a quite of bit of knick knacks, a section of furniture, and things you'd use around the home like door knobs. From what I could tell it looked like they an overstock warehouse with items that probably didn't' sell from Home Depot, Lowes etc. My dad has a green thumb and found some gardening items such as Miracle Grow Shake N Feed and on our visit I believe items were around $13 and with the 30% it was about $9 when the retail was about $25 retail which was a steal! I think it's worth a visit if you're in the area and are in need of random things.

I heard about Dog Junkies on Yelp and saw all the great reviews and thought I'd swing by and check it out. I'm so glad I did because I found some amazing shoes that were in pretty good condition. I'd say the price of the shoes was a little high for a thrift store but since I know the money is going to a really good cause I don't mind spending extra. I mean how are these pups going to be taken care of without sales? So again spending a little extra is worth it and I think it's such a great idea! I actually didn't know that was the story behind this little thrift store until I talked to the lady at the counter and what a sweet story it is. Every time someone purchases something all the proceeds go to the rescue for the pups that would otherwise be euthanized. So if your looking to spend your money on some pretty neat goodies, whether it be housewares, books, furniture, or clothing, I highly recommend Dog Junkies!

Honestly, it looked like he was doing a drug deal with the business owner, but I guess that's just an assumption. I had walked away because the door was locked and then I saw from afar the owner come out and start talking to some guy . When I got close, I can tell that they were arguing. Apparently, the owner of Nikki's treasure hunt didn't want to pay the guy for his pressure washing services. I thought it was pretty scandalous, considering I was there the day before and saw how filthy and nasty it was and it smelled like piss . The pressure washing that I did a great job considering how dirty the area is in that shopping center . I definitely will not be supporting any businesses that treat other business owners like this . I hope he paid the guy.
