Went here because I had a Groupon for a full set. It was very a reasonable price so I went even though it's kind of far from my house. It was very easy to find and parking was easy. I had called to make an appointment and found that I could make it at the time I needed without a problem. As I walked in the door I was greeted and everyone was very friendly. The salon is very clean and they ask everyone to wash their hands immediately upon entering. I really appreciate that. It didn't take long to do my nails and there was a great selection of gel polishes. The only concern that I had was that my nails are kind of lumpy and a little bit misshapen. Sometimes I expect that when putting on a new set. I think the real test is if it happens another time. I certainly hope that it won't. read more

The customer service at Lima's is exceptional. The family; Lima, her sister and her husband are always so welcoming as well as her other staff. My twin sister loves Dee doing her nails, an African American woman who is so funny and sweet. Lee, Lima's sister always switches the channel for us to watch something that interests us. They are patient and actually don't make it awkward like tower salons by actually speaking to us. 8/17/2021 Tuesday my best friend took me here, I moved to Las Vegas. She treated me to a pedicure and I thought this nail spa was tranquil, relaxing to visit. I have been to many nail spas and this one is a tucked away Gem and very affordable place her appointment was at 2:30 pm and I was a walk-in. Call ahead for an appointment is recommended if you aren't from North Kingston. A basic pedicure is 27 plus tip. Reasonably priced family owned business please support local! I'm a born and Raised Rhode Islander just trying to visit family and few select friends. My time is precious here and this was not a waste of my time. I wished I had a small hot cup of mint and peppermint tea with me to sip it was the only thing missing from the experience but it's a pandemic so enjoy some after your visit here and treat yourself. read more

Don't get me wrong, I love this salon. It is my favorite place to get my nails done. They have never done a bad job, hence the four stars. The women are extremely kind and welcoming, the salon is clean and they even have a salon pup! A sweet little Pomeranian named Happy. However, avoid getting your nails done by the man at all costs. He is extremely rough and getting my nails done by him today was everything but relaxing. I was in pain the entire time and he even made my fingers bleed a few times. He did a great job, but my fingers still hurt. So please please support Lima, but make an appointment with one of the women. read more

Not only did they stay open late for me to accommodate me, but they spent quite a long time paying close attention to detail as they did my nails. I went into Lima nails because of a recommendation from my future mother-in-law a year ago and I can happily say that I am super happy with the result. They spent almost 2 hours pampering my hands which no Nail Salon has ever done before. Came in for gel manicure. Unfortunately, felt very rushed, not personable. Whole treatment took 20 minutes from start to finish. Cuticle beds not completely cleaned either. Two days after manicure, nails were chipping and showing extreme growth. Extremely disappointed. Will not be returning for any other services sadly. read more

I had a promotional card that I had filled and they stayed when given to me " you fill it and you the next one FREE !" so I went To use my card and Lima's husband screamed at me in front of customer's that It was not free it was only 20% off as he was pointing to papers taped to the wall. for one the DID state it was free when they gave those promotional cards to me and changed the policy and should honor it! And fir two he should never ever yell at an amazing customer thst had been going there and tipped well and brought other clients in their as well . Anytime I've had him do my nails I've tried striking up conversations, and he just doesn't have a personality, he shouldn't be in the business if he is going to have a crappy attitude and yell at clients .needless to say I will never go back ... she never offered me my free one just another discount... I earned that free one ! I go every two to three weeks!!!!
