WARNING! PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH! I never imagined I'd be writing a review like this, but I feel a responsibility to share what happened to me at Indulgence Med Spa so that no woman ever goes through what I had to. I went in for (what should have been) a routine laser hair removal appointment. Instead, within hours, my legs were burning, blistering, scabbing, itching, and there was raw skin exposed. I was in agonizing pain with severe, second-degree burns all over my legs. I'd like to preface with the fact I had gone to get 10 laser hair removal sessions at multiple different med spas before this incident, without ever facing any issues. I also do not have "sensitive" skin. After seeing my legs after the incident for the first time, the laser technician immediately started crying in front of me and looked mortified. She referred me to the owner, Anu, who also teared up and said she couldn't imagine something like this happening to her daughter. I thought they had empathy, but unfortunately, I was wrong. As an insincere apology, the spa offered me some ointment, red light therapy for the intense scarring, and other services from the med spa - but the reality was that I was the one dealing with the physical damage, the emotional toll, and the financial burden of trying to heal. Not to mention this forced me to commute back into the med spa, incur additional transportation costs, use PTO, and constantly be reminded of the incident. I had to beg for weeks to get a simple refund on the appointment, to the point my mother had to get involved because she was so livid with their lack of accountability. They gaslit me for months, saying "it will be better in two weeks", "it will be healed in a month", "it will be gone next time you come in". It is almost two years (and thousands of dollars) later and I am still not fully healed. The laser technician was undertrained. The laser machine ran out of coolant and beeped the entire appointment, but she still continued my treatment. I was told that the technician who performed the treatment had been let go, but I later learned from others that she was still working there. I even saw her there myself when I came in for a rescheduled red-light appointment, which confirmed they were lying about letting her go and just scheduling her when I wasn't coming in. The months that followed were some of the hardest I've experienced physically and emotionally. I spent thousands of dollars out of pocket on dermatology visits, prescription creams, healing products, and treatments trying to repair the damage. I am not someone who cries easily, but for months I cried every single day. Every time I looked in the mirror or caught a glimpse of my legs. When I thought about the possibility of these scars being here on my wedding day. One day at the gym, someone I didn't know asked me if I was a burn victim. I can't describe how humiliating that felt. This led to further expenses, as I had to buy more clothing to cover my legs due to insecurity and embarassment. I looked into some of their other reviews, and unfortunately, it seems like this has happened to a lot of people - not just me. This entire experience left me feeling drained, embarrassed, and ignored. A cosmetic treatment that was supposed to improve my confidence instead left me dealing with over a year physical healing and emotional distress. Stay away!! The laser technicians have no clue what they're doing. I went in for laser tattoo removal. They used a setting that was way too high. It caused extreme blistering, hypopigmentation, and discoloration. I'm sad about how long this damage will last. Please avoid for anything laser related, but honestly probably better off avoiding this med spa entirely. Edit 2/6 for more context: I bought a 3 pack of sessions and started my first early spring of 2024. At that point we walked through some waivers and information about the process and post care. I shared that I was not aiming for full removal but just wanted to lighten a little so I had more options to rework the tattoo. The first session must have been a much lower setting, it healed fine. My next session was a couple months later in the summer. The blistering was awful, but I wrote it off as maybe I had done a worse job of keeping the tattoo cool after given the heat wave that was going on (note I stayed inside and kept it out of the sun, but idk body heat in the summer). This photo was after my 3rd session. The second and third sessions they didn't ask me anything about how my healing progress went, what my goals were, or any assessment of the area. I had no idea how much they were increasing the laser by. None of the process was clear to me in the following sessions. Maybe I should have asked more, but I think that's more so their job, as this is my first removal process and I'm still learning. I cropped this picture to show less of my body, but the discoloration here is extreme and definitely outside of normal circumstances. As soon as the laser went close to the large discolored splotch, there was a flared up burning sensation across a large area. Kind of like a splash effect. I think it should have been obvious at that point to anyone who is versed with laser technology that it was too much. They continued to go over everything at that level of intensity multiple times when we should have stopped entirely or turned down the intensity. It's hard for me to give them too much benefit of the doubt, because as the client I was just trying to calm down despite the pain. I've learned a lot since, and wish I had spoken up for myself. But I just didn't know better, but they should have. I've had to follow up with professional dermatologists which I should have done in the first place. This will make healing/reworking/covering up the tattoo much worse than if I hadn't lasered at all. When in the first place, I didn't hate the tattoo. I was not in a rush to get it fully removed. Which I clearly communicated in my first session. Sorry to be a hater, but it's just really sad for me because it's kind of this haunting reminder on my body. Also they push everyone to leave a 5 star review before leaving/on the way out. I'm sure not everyone who has left a review has had as bad an experience as me. I bought a Groupon for chin laser hair removal treatment. Every session has been quick, efficient and pleasant. I asked if my eyebrows could be threaded while I was there and the owner was kind enough to fit me in right before my laser treatment and fixed my eyebrows beautifully. I have never felt pressure to buy services - they have offered or asked and then left it there depnding on my response, which I appreciate. The only feedback I have is that the space is a little dark and the room I have visited for my treatments could use a more "spa-like" feel, and some TLC. I have been going to Indulgence Aesthetics for IPL laser to my face for rosacea and broken capillaries. I am so pleased with my results. Called and set an appointment weeks ago. Drove 45 minutes to have a good day. We get there and sat down stairs without anyone saying a word to us for over 15 minutes. Finally we were directed upstairs and then again wait nearly 20 minutes before anyone spoke to us. We waited about 20 minutes to go in the room (2:50 for our rescheduled 2:30 appointment) and some lady tried to sell us on a reiki consultation (which was not requested). The massage was overall subpar and ended at 3:30 (so we paid for an hour and got approximately 40 minutes). Would not go back. Massages are not given by licensed massage therapists. Full body deep tissue massages are offered by people without the proper licensure or education just so the owner can make a quick buck. Ask before you go there for proof of how qualified your massage therapist is! Also look at what skin care products they are using because they are dollar store brand. I was able to call and make an appointment, show up for the appointment, but didn't go through with the appointment. I always request a woman massage therapist. When I talked to the woman who answered my phone call she asked me if I had a preference for a man or woman massage therapist. I said I wanted a woman massage therapist and remember confirming with her because this would be my first visit and massage session at this place. I arrived to my appointment a little early because I was not familiar with this building. There was a lot of front room traffic when I checked in with a woman staff member who then left. Because I was a little early I sat for a bit and saw a male staff member sit at the front desk and start eating some food. When it was time for my appointment the male staff member stood up, brushed off his hands, and introduced himself to me as my massage therapist for the session. I told this staff member that I had specifically requested a woman for my massage session. He apologized but there wasn't a woman massage therapist available during this time. I don't blame him; he wasn't the person I spoke with on the phone to make my appointment. But then he reminded me that I should indicate I want a woman massage therapist when I book a session. I've sent an email to the ''manager' inquiring about the misleading prices and s-u-r-p-r-i-s-e SURPRISE! 3 weeks later I still haven't received a response (no surprise there). There is NOT a price list for you to refer to and the price was always different when I checked out. I used to suffer from terrible acne that always caused me so much pain. After a while, my acne slowed down but what was left behind was deep scarring and discoloration. Nothing seemed to work to get the scarring to go away. It's about proper education, setting real expectations, and providing a skin regime almost like a diet plan. I left messages and the one time someone picked up they took my number and said the aesthetician would call me to book based on her availability. No one called back. Absolutely horrible experience! Will never go back and hoping people take my advice. My wife and I had an appt on Monday for a 60 minute couples massage and foot parrafin treatment afterwards. They called us to let us know they were running late. Not a problem at all; however, when we got there, she said we were late. I had the voicemail to proof that wrong. We go in to have the "60 minute massage" that we paid for and only received less than a 30 minute massage. She said "you're all set" and we were good to go. When I said something about how short it was, she said we were late. Not true--we can when they said to come in the voicemail (which I still have). When I said where do we go for the parrafin treatment, she said we can come another day for that. Unacceptable. We paid a babysitter to have been able to go in the first place. During the massage, she seemed angry during the whole thing. She left bruises on my wives arm and chest. She also pulled on her arm so much she was crying and hasn't been able to fully rotate it since. This was such a horrible experience! I pray no one else has to deal with them. We requested our money back and she said she would be willing to give us a 30 minute massage. I don't trust her to touch us. Why would we go back when the massages were horrible in the first place. i went to get the eyebrow microblading service back in Feb.(approx. 4 months ago). I paid over $ 300 which included the supposed initial microblading and the 6 week follow up. When I went I unfortunately did not know much about the procedure but I trusted them cause they seemed like really nice people at the time and they seemed like they knew what they were talking about and doing. When i got home, my family and some others kept asking me if I was sure I got a microblade and not a eyebrow tattoo service cause that is what it looked like i said no they told me it was microbladed i unfortunately believed them and just thought that was how it took on my eyebrows As weeks and months went by my eyebrows especially the right one really started like fading and looked like i never really had anything done i finally decided to make an appt to go back and see what was going on maybe get a fill already even though i was told microblading usually lasts about a year when i got there today i was told the girl who did my original eyebrows did not work there anymore and was introduced to a guy who they claimed was new but a PRO in the field he looked at my eyebrows and said wow that does not look like microbladed at all and confirmed that my right eye was definitely worse and did not match the left eyebrow at all they apologized and said yes the woman who did it doesnt work here anymore but the new guy would fix my eyebrows and actually microblade them for me but i would have to pay another 200.00 to start all over again i told them i shpuld not have to pay again since it has only been 4 months and they confirmed that the woman did not due the procedure correctly at all which I already paid for the owner and the new guy walked out of the room a few times to talk and came back and said that they are sorry but i would have to pay full price again to start over DO NOT GO THERE!!! Almost 3 months ago, my boyfriend tried making an appointment for Valentine's Day. We both called for days and never got an answer. Finally they called back and wanted to check with the manager to get a time and then they never called us back. So because we never got a call and it had been weeks we tried to keep calling. No answer every time. Finally they called the day before Valentine's Day to say they didn't have availability. THEN we tried to set it up for my birthday (2 weeks ago). I have a regular esthetician for facial and waxing services however a friend of mine had a Groupon so I joined her at this Spa. On the way out the women at the reception urged us to return for more services which I can appreciate. However they had no printed brochures to hand out, in fact they have one she suggested we take a picture of it with our phone. I asked about looking at the website and she said it was not updated. Furthermore she had suggested that their business was better than my current esthetician and for me to visit and compare. A better approach would have been for her to emphasize that they may have services provided or offered that my esthetician does not and if I am need of those services that I should return to her spa. Really underwhelming couples massage. My husband loved his but mine was just...meh. We don't often splurge for massages but saw a groupon with aromatherapy and foot reflexology and saw the great reviews so we were so eager to try. I was very disappointed because I was expecting more, especially with so many positive reviews on Yelp and elsewhere. The aromatherapy and foot reflexology were kinda a joke, two minutes of deep breathing some scented oils and then what felt like a pencils eraser tapping my feet. Our appointment was a scant hour and I wish we had skipped the aromatherapy/foot reflexology and had more attention on the massage. I got home and immediately asked my husband to rub out some of the knots in my back I was hoping would be taken care of! Clean and inviting spa but won't be returning. read more

I found Indulgence Aesthetics on Groupon. When I got there I had very high hopes for the spray tan I was getting. This wasn't my first spray tan so I knew all the rules of what to do before and after. When I left I was very pleased, but the next morning after showering the disappointment started. First, half the tan washed off and worse it was orange. It was super streaky, even though they had me put Vaseline on my palms and bottoms of feet both were orange. I continued to moisturize so I could keep at least half the tan that stayed. But by day 2 it started to fade and get even more streaky. Glad I didn't pay full price and it was Groupon price. But I will definitely will not ever get a spray tan there again! read more

We purchased a Groupon for Christmas and paid $141 for a couples massage and paraffin treatment. When we contacted Indulgence Aesthetics to schedule an appointment prior to the Groupon expiring, they told us that they had no availability prior to that date and we'd have to pay the difference. We don't believe it's our fault that they have no openings for us and refuse to honor the groupon outside of the expiration date. Very poor business practice and not customer friendly at all!
