Everything you'd expect from a good European facial, very well and professionally done, plus the added bonus of a moisturizer foot and hand rub. The place is clean, staff are well mannered, no wait time no soliciting. Here no one pushes any products on you. Top line: probably the best massage I've had in my entire life. Was traveling to Denver on for work, and decided to pop in for a massage. Indulgences far exceeded my expectations!! Started with some time in the steam room, which really started me off right. Proceeded to go into my room where my masseuse was super friendly, very knowledgable, and did a fantastic job! Ended my hour massage back in the steam room and with a quick shower. This place really pays attention to the details, men's locker room was well stocked, even down to clean bath mats for me to stand on post shower. Bottom line: if you are thinking about it, you should go here! I know I will next time I am in town! read more

I am revising my rating down to 4 stars from 5 stars, primarily because the Asian receptionist is one of the rudest people I've ever encountered. The spa messed up and forgot to call me to let me know my therapist had to cancel last minute, which is very important when you're a repeat customer and request a specific therapist. Thus, I spent $10 to uber to the spa to find out they had switched me to someone who just started there. The receptionist acted like this was no big deal at all and was annoyed that I was confused why no one called me. I asked to speak with her manager, who was kind enough to refund me the $10 for my Uber and apologized for the inconvenience. The receptionist thoroughly ruined my day with her bad attitude. Management should think twice about who they hire, as customer service is crucial to running a business. I am considering switching spas so I don't have to deal with rude people and incompetence, even though love my massage therapist here. *************** Wow. I was so pleasantly surprised with my experience here. I am extremely picky about massages, but Anthony knocked it out of the park. Someone who gets massages regularly can always tell within a couple of minutes if a masseuse is experienced or not. I could immediately tell he knew what he was doing. I prefer medium firm massages with emphasis on working pressure points. It's like Anthony read my mind, and he was able to find my problem areas quickly. Hands down the best massage I've ever had. I also got a facial beforehand with Rachel, and it was fabulous. I don't get facials often, but it was definitely one of the best facials I've had. Came in today for a 90 minute massage with alicia. They were the highest rated day spa in denver, and they did not disappoint. We were advised to arrive early for a steam, and found a well thought out area complete with complementary drinks and snacks. Locker rooms were super clean and well appointed. Alicia was warm and professional, and asked all the important questions before we began. My favorite part was the energy work at the end. She gave me some guidance based on how my energy responded to her presence and touch; she had no idea how profoundly she hit the nail on the head. My therapist was sweet. The steam room is nice. It didn't feel like the people really wanted to be there and I felt rushed to leave. It was loud within the room from outside noise within the spa...other music playing that was in conflict with the music in the room and staff talking. Yelena really worked on getting my hormonal dry skin to glow and then proceeded to recommend a regimen to maintain. The feel of this place is relaxing from the get-go. You can sit in the steam room with cold eucalyptus towels on your face before your massage, which is extremely calming and relaxing. Now the massage itself is where you get lost in time and space, pretty sure I forgot who I was and where I was for my hour. The therapists are good listeners, and aren't chatty which allows you to relax and get back to floating in the universe during your slide down a dragons back and into the Milky Way. Where do I begin?? First, it is open on a Sunday! We are from Charlotte and NEVER expected to find a spa- much less get an appointment- on a Sunday while we were in town. I needed a facial and wanted my guy to experience it, too... Beyond that, the front desk staff was super welcoming and gave us a tour: the reasonable prices do not reflect the FULL SERVICE amenities they provide, including steam room, robes and wraps, teas, specialty waters, and relaxation area. After our services, we were able to shower and get ready to go out on the town in the locker rooms. Awesome. A lot of spas don't do that these days... Especially the steam room. As for the services, Nikki was a knowledgeable aesthetician and customized both of our treatments to our needs. I was catered to in the areas I wished for attention on and next steps were given after the massage. Really sad to have to be writing this review. I came to indulgences day spa for 90min massage for my birthday, it was a gift from my fiancée. I choose Indulgences after seeing so many positive yelp reviews. I was so excited for a day of relaxation! The spa was cute and the receptionists were very nice and welcoming, but that is where the relaxation ended. The massage was horrible!!! The entire massage was very painful, everything felt very rough and hard and I was left feeling very sore and uncomfortable. I asked my massage therapist at least 5 times to lighten the pressure and she would say "sure" lighten for a moment and then go back to rough painful movements. She also keep audibly yawning loudly the entire time? That seemed very rude (at least one of us was relaxed...). I felt so uncomfortable the entire time I wanted to end it early and should have, but didn't know how to handle the very awkward situation. It may have just been a newer really bad massage therapist, but I would be to scared to spend the money on indulgences another try. Worst Birthday gift ever :( read more

I'll start with the good- nice, relaxing atmosphere. They have a steam room and nice touches like cool eucalyptus face towels. The products they have for sale are nice, too. The rooms are quiet, massage beds are comfy. The bad- I'm in excruciating pain after my 90 minute deep tissue massage. My therapist actually uses medium pressure, which wasn't the issue- it's where she put a lot of pressure. I told her I needed work everywhere, but mainly lower back, shoulders, and neck. When she worked on my back she didn't use much pressure until she got to the sides of my torso. So much pressure that I had terrible side cramps trying to run later in the day. She never really worked on my shoulders. She spent a lot of time putting hard pressure on my upper pecks/collar bone area. It hurts so much I can't wear a purse or a backpack. I never even mentioned being sore there, and kept thinking this was part of her shoulder work. Lastly my neck... usually massage therapists work on the big muscles on the back of your neck. She dug her thumbs into the front/side of my neck and I kept wincing. I should have been more vocal during my massage but I feared I would be critiquing her style since I'm not in the massage business. It was the strangest massage, I've never had such an imbalanced massage that caused me pain afterwards. Needles to say, I won't be going back. read more
