The guys at Jack's are excellent. They are so knowledgeable and showed my wife so many bikes to…read morehelp her make the right choice. They have an excellent selection of electric bikes on hand at great prices. I purchased an Aventon and it had some brake grind. I took it in and they were so helpful to get me reassured that this just has to be broken in. Awesome service. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them and will be bringing my bikes to them for service.

I wont bother to call since there were so many other issues…read more 1) Fender rubbed. 2) Asked if changing the tire was the EXACT same on the trike as a hybrid. Got told yes. It's not. 3) You moved rear shocks to the wrong position. 4) Before purchase, I called and asked if I would be able to test ride on hills, and you said there were plenty of hills. Of course there werent. 5) When I called during the off season and asked if there were any sales, you said there NEVER were! Of course when I came in months later, there was a sale going on. 6) Most importantly, several times I mentioned my bad back (Pinched nerve and arthritis) and wanted the best bike for that. You sold me an expensive bike with just rear shocks, failing to mention that there were less expensive bikes with both rear and front suspension! So now I am stuck with the wrong bike after spending over $7,000. So no, I have no interest in dealing with you anymore!

I wasn't sure cycling was for me, it turned out to be one of the best things I have ever done for…read moreexercise. Great for knees, ankles, and back. That aside. Giant makes a mediocre bike for a good price. Not great but good enough. The service here at this location almost matches the product. I took the bike back 2 times for shift adjustments, both times the chain measured as expanded, both times no new chain. Both times they did not offer a new chain under the 1 year warranty nor was one offered for any price. The only reason I let it go the first time was to see if they would do it the next time. The second time they made adjustments I just took it elsewhere and gladly paid for what was needed. Bonus: The bike I bought was 1 size too big for me. And I'm 6'2". I assume they had a messed up order and they needed to get a silly sized bike out the door. Enter my inexperienced self to take it at full price. In retrospect I believe the little sales guy positioned the seat on the other properly sized bike incorrectly enough to lean me in the wrong direction. I am sure of it. Why would he put me on one too big at first then the other right sized one after if he wasn't pulling a ruse? Anyway Every trip back to that store revealed more disingenuousness in the little sales guy and the owner. The owner is rude and lacks people skills. High note the most satisfying purchase there was the strap on rear light from a box on the counter. (It's not a front light) Next year I'm fixing this with a bike from specialized most likely. The only half interested in helping people person there was the mechanic in the back, he should be selling stuff not the other guy. I mean it was a little short sighted on his part to do that. I figured it out a month latter and confirmed it at other shops. I have money and a family of kids who need bicycles. Whoops!

My boyfriend found a used bike that had to be shipped to him from California. Needless to say it…read morehad some assembly to be done. He took his bike to D&D and was given a time frame and very reasonable price. The bike was ready within the time quoted. The bike performs great! No issues with it. Would definitely recommend this place.

I would not recommend getting even a simple bike fit here due to safety concerns…read more I paid $100 for a bike fit and trusted the technician to properly adjust my bike. During the fit, my saddle height was changed and the seatpost clamp was tightened using only a hex tool. My carbon seatpost clearly states a maximum torque of 5 Nm, but no torque wrench was used. I assumed everything had been done correctly and didn't think to double-check their work. Shortly after leaving, I was riding at about 20 mph and hit a very small bump in the road. My seatpost suddenly dropped under my weight, which completely threw me off balance and caused me to crash into the nearby grass. This could have easily resulted in a serious crash. Because the seatpost slipped, the carbon seatpost was also scraped when it slid down into the frame under my weight, which is concerning for a carbon component. To make matters worse, after spending $100 on the fit, I left without any documentation of the final measurements or where my saddle height and positions were set. I essentially walked away without knowing what my final setup was supposed to be. Overall, the experience was very disappointing. I trusted the shop to properly adjust my bike and ensure it was safe to ride. Instead, I left with a slipping seatpost, damage to my carbon seatpost, and no record of the fit measurements. For something as important as bike setup and rider safety, I expected much better.
