Let me preface my bad experience with dating I have been here multiple times for self procedure and it was good. However, it only takes one bad experience for me to call it quits! I went in 1_26, with a scheduled spot for a minor, my daughter it was her birthday and we were surprising h feet with earlobe piercings. Full disclosure, I did not read the entire website. I did however, read Virginia's email and text correspondence for business. When we arrived that eve, I showed my ID thinking that was it. Then I was asked for my daughter's birth certificate. As I began to pull it up on the phone's secure folder, the attendee expresses she needs the hard copy in person and no exceptions. After raising to speak with a manager, the manner trots over and reiterates that they need a hardcopy and no exceptions will be made. I asked to call my husband on FaceTime so he could produce it and they refused. I expressed that neither my email nor text expressed that I needed to bring s birth certificate. Even further, the manager called me at 230 to reschedule the appointment as my piercer was unavailable. At that time she made no mention of a birth certificate. Her response about the rescheduling, after much debate, "we don't have to tell you anything because everything is stated on our website." I was just done, never to return again. read more

Got my right earlobe re-pierced because it's been crooked my whole life! For years I'd have to dig around to get an earring in and after a while I gave up on wearing earrings altogether, so it partially closed. I called up Friday afternoon and they said they take a lunch break 2:30-4pm, so I walked in just before 4:30 without an appointment. Short wait, maybe 20-30 minutes, but I filled out some paperwork and looked at earrings. I was given the option of having them help me put in the earrings I brought with me, which might help re-stretch that right hole a little bit, or pierce a new hole that would align with the original hole in front. I chose the new hole since I knew I'd continue to have the same issues. They wanted to ensure I had all the options and were very helpful. Nash was my piercer and was so friendly and communicative. Everything was sterile, gloves changed, new tools for changes and everything. The earring I chose apparently didn't have a matching one for my left ear, so she went out and got a different size for me that had it in a set. She had to replace the one he just pierced, and even put the second one in for my left ear even though I didn't get that one re-pierced. Easy and pretty painless. Very clear after care instructions. We each sent a short description of what we wanted over email and once in person, he printed out stencils and made sure we had the designs we envisioned before tattooing us. I'd been wanting to get a specific tattoo for a while and came across Noah's Instagram page, loved his overall vibes that came across his social media, and they definitely translated to real life. We communicated through email to coordinate a date for me to come in, which not to mention he was SUPER flexible and accommodating to. When it was time for my appointment, I was so kindly greeted at the door, filled out all my forms, and then Noah brought me back to check out some initial stencils. He provided me with different sizes and answered every single one of my questions, and I had a lot of questions lol. I've been craving some new face holes lately and my partner offered to buy them as my birthday gift. Hooray! We walked in today at 3pm, booked an appointment for 4pm and spent the hour shopping in the area. Upon our return, I was told that I couldn't get my lip piercings because I didn't have a covid vaccination card. In 2021 I got my bridge pierced there and wanted to finally get the jewelery replaced with something shorter. I was surprised to learn that mask or not, I was no longer allowed in the building. "Indefinitely." About 20 years of loving this business and I am no longer welcome. I have been tattooing in the bay area since 2007 and have only recommended people to industrial. I sang their praises to probably thousands of people for piercings. I even kept a stack of their business cards in my work station to hand out to anyone inquiring about piercings. As members of the lgb(t) community and small business owners, my partner and I believe very strongly in the freedom of association. While I strongly disagree with their discriminatory practices, I understand their right to do so. Having said that, I no longer recommend this business, even for those allowed in the building. read more

I had a good experience here getting my first nostril piercing. I went back a couple years later to get the other side done, and the piercer gave me some time to make sure it placed correctly. She told me not to tilt my face down while I looked in the mirror because that angle wasn't important (or something along those lines), so I decided to trust her placement even though it seemed a little off to me. The piercing is now pretty much healed, and the placement still bothers me when I think about it. It's also pierced at a weird angle so the jewelry doesn't lie flat on my nose. I'm annoyed that she encouraged me not to trust my instincts, and this place isn't cheap so I feel a little robbed. I've never had issues with Zebra which is right down the street, save some money and go there. read more

Best place to get your peircings. I went in to get my conch pierced and also to get my helix replaced. My helix was done 10 years ago at another place, both the receptionist and piercer noticed it was at an angle so i took her advice and removed it. The place itself is really clean and set up nice! The jewelry is top shelf therefore expect to spend $$$ it ranges from $60 and up. My conch peircing alone was $240. The experience with Hydi was perfect. I was comfortable and relaxed. Pain was not bad at all and the process itself was quick. She made me excited and was confident about what she does. I want more already and will definitely be back! read more

DO NOT do what I did and stroll in there five minutes early thinking you want to be *extra* punctual to your 12:00 appointment. They open promptly at 12:00 so wait until then to check in. They are appointment only and when you check in they will prompt you to scan the qr code on the desk to fill out the form electronically. Then I waited around for a while until my technician was ready. I got nipple piercings with Lysa and she was so chill and comforting that I definitely felt calm and that I was in good hands. Everyone else in the reception area was bubbly and had good energy as well. I also liked that even though they had a very alternative/rustic/boho look going on, it still felt very clean and organized. Also just for context I have been to the other certain well-known parlor in the Bay Area (at their Walnut Creek location)- I had a subpar experience as far as customer service. This would be a 5 star review except for the subpar customer service. I walked in, and the employees were chatting amongst each other at the back counter, and I had to walk directly to them to get an acknowledgement. It is a tattoo/piercing place so people will need personalized help. Once I got settled in for my piercings, they said someone would be right with me. I waited for about 20 minutes and someone who came in after me got called back for a piercing before which confused me. My friend asked how long it would be, and they said 15 minutes. I then jumped on a phone call, and they immediately called me back. I feel they should do better with distinguishing wait times. When I did get brought back for my piercing, Hydi did a great job at every single part of it. I was very satisfied with how the two piercings turned out. I will say. This place is VERY expensive. I paid around $170 for two helix piercings, titanium earrings, aftercare, and the tip. This by no means is a cheap place to go. I hope this means that my piercings will not get infected, and they will heal quick by me following their recommendations. read more

My sister recommended I come in with her since shes gotten almost all her piercings here and she loved it. First time I went, I got my nipples pierced with Lysa, who was amazing! They hurt a bit but she talked me through it and they look awesome. No issues so far with healing either. Came back a month later yesterday to get my conch and 3rd lobe done. I was undecided whether or not to pierce my lobe or my cartilage on the other ear but the girl who helped me pick put jewelry told me it was best to do it on one ear. She was really helpful when picking out my jewelry too! I ended up changing one of my picks and the staff was really helpful, sweet and patient with my last minute change even though I was nosying around and checking on their jewelry display every 5 minutes lol. Lysa pierced my conch and lobe too, she was just as amazing as last time and I'm so happy I got them done. I had been considering get my nipples pierced for a long time but was always to chicken to actually do it. I finally decided it was time for a fun change and made the appointment! I had been recommended to go to Industrial a while back so already felt comfortable walking in. The place is gorgeous and has super good vibes. Really clean and sanitary space as well. They have all types of different crystals placed around the shop and I instantly fell in love with it. After providing proof of vaccination and getting checked in I browsed the jewelry section and they have very beautiful and unique collection to choose from. I was pleasantly surprised that my starting jewelry was so cute and feminine compared to the plain bars I was expecting. Marina was my piercer and right away made me feel comfortable. My best friend was able to be in the room with me for moral support haha.
