For my first treatment, she set my expectations and let me know what to expect. The treatment can be a little painful... it feels like a rubber band snap but only on certain parts, but it's so quick. Update: after taking a break for a year or so, I went back some time ago for a laser hair removal touch up to find they are under new management and their rates are ridiculously higher. After I checked in for my appointment, they told me my normal $130 appointment was now going to cost $400, starting that day. I was ridiculously frustrated no one told me that when I booked but went through with it anyway, knowing it would be my last. I had been a loyal customer and would have gladly kept going, but the price hike is ridiculous. The laser hair removal took way more appointments than they said it would, and now several years later, I'm still shaving. While it has thinned my hair some, it was not permanent hair removal. I came in here twice for two sun spot removal treatments, and unfortunately, they did not work in the slightest and I saw no results or difference in my skin whatsoever. For this kind of money, there should at least be a little improvement. The employees were nice and attentive - plus the office was clean - but it makes no sense to pay $xxx for a service that isn't close to effective. I called other clinics and found out for my skin type I should have noticed reasonable improvement after just one run though, but especially two. (I have normal skin that is considered an "ideal candidate" for this treatment, and yes, Indy Laser told me it would yield positive results. So that was just untrue.) read more

My first two appointments have gone so smoothly and the ladies are super nice! I noticed results on my underarms the fastest, so I'm very excited to see what more sessions will do! It is painful, but it goes by so quickly that it's worth it! I was incredibly disappointed with Indy Laser. I had a tattoo that I wanted removed. Upon my first visit they let me know that the sessions were variable but based on my tattoo, size and color it would most likely take 6 sessions. Fine, great. Let's get started. 6 sessions and $500 later my tattoo looks no different. I had questions about the results each time I came in and was continually given one excuse after the next. Today I went for a second opinion at a different facility only to find out Indy Laser has since stopped providing tattoo removal treatments because "their laser is outdated and was not working." I do a lot of research before I invest in a treatment like this, so I was pretty prepared coming in, knowledge-wise. Indy Laser had great reviews, used the latest technology, and was reasonably priced. That being said, I was pretty nervous about the pain and about the awkwardness of someone lasering my lady bits. Thankfully, I had Alicia as my tech. From the minute I walked in, she completely eased all of my worries and made the experience so comfortable and easy. I walked out of there simply blown away by the positive experience I had and how easy it had been. Alicia was so knowledgeable and she really cared about making sure I had a great experience and felt comfortable and at ease throughout everything. Not only did I spend about $650 to get hair removal, but it DIDNT WORK. Good places will offer maintenance check-ins to make sure the service actually works. Some people may only need 5 sessions while others need 8. Because of covid, my sessions were very delayed and it may have messed up the hair growth cycle? I don't know but either way, I emailed to see if they could do anything because the sessions, like I said, did not work. Even a partial refund. But nothing. No response, and no results. Thanks to my dads very dark and super hairy genes, he felt the need to pass that along to me. I've had 6 treatments on my upper lip and 2 on my arms so far. Definitely can tell a huge difference on my arms. Unfortunately it didn't work at all after 6 treatments on my upper lip. My technician is very sweet and makes me feel comfortable. It's expensive and I would recommend waiting until they run a 50% off special. read more

Best place for laser hair removal in Indianapolis! I've been getting hair removal sessions since June 2017. I would recommend to start with underarm area because then you can see for yourself it it will work for you. I got my full legs, underarm, and face lasered. I saw the most improvement on legs and underarm area. Laser hair removal is definitely different for everyone depending on their skin and hair color. Mine is medium skin tone with dark hair so it worked very well for me. I bought the six session package. I'm planning on buying more to get rid of all the tiny hair I have left. I would say 70% of my hair is gone after six treatments. Now it takes almost a month to grow any hair and they grow very fine in texture. Also the staff is very friendly and know what they're doing. They make sure you're doing fine every few minutes. (They have great deals going on in the summer). I highly recommend Indy laser if you're looking to get laser hair removal done!! read more

I just had my 4th underarm hair removal appointment and have been very pleased with the whole experience so far. I am still shocked at how low the price was. For six sessions I paid about $450. I've had consultations with other hair removal companies in the past and have always been quoted a price more like $1200, which was why I was putting it off. So glad I looked into this place. Nothing but good things to say. When I requested a consultation online, they got back to me within a couple of hours and they worked with my schedule to fit me in. I was given a few payment options to make it easiest for me. I've had to reschedule my appointments a couple of times now and have never had a problem. They were realistic worth me about what to expect, it never felt like they were pushing me into something I didn't need or want. During the appointment they were friendly and professional, explaining everything they were doing and making sure I was comfortable. All 4 women that work there are wonderful! I seen Dr.Eads and his nurses and staff. They're all so fantastic and caring! I had to have a spot on my skin removed and Dr.Eads was quick and made me as comfortable as could be, he put my mind at ease. He's sweet and caring. We were rescheduling for my next appointment and we met Cher. She is outstanding and so very nice. This dermatology facility is by far the BEST I have ever been to and my husband had had skin cancer in the past so he needs to be seen frequently because of that but his Dr. moved to another state so Dr.Eads did not hesitate to look at his site where the cancer was removed and kindly said "I would be glad to take over and be your doctor!" We are so blessed to have such a caring doctor and team that works with him! We would have never known about Dr. Eads had it not been through our church group. Thank you all so very much! Indy Laser is the only place I would trust with laser hair removal. My first consultation with Chris eased my fears about laser hair removal and he gave me a great treatment plan for my skin type and areas treated. Laser hair removal can be a bit "exposing" depending on your treatment area, and Lizzy always made me feel comfortable with draping. My results have been better than I could ever expect! I have cut down my getting ready time by 10 minutes every other day because I'm not worried about shaving. I don't have little red bumps on my underarms. I can throw on a bikini and head to the lake or pool! I don't have to worry about getting goosebumps right after a shower. For those who are worried if it hurts, this treatment feels like a rubber band snapping your skin. But the pain is over immediately after the laser stops. Lizzie was always fabulous about treating me quickly and using aloe to cool my skin down. I have naturally tan skin and never once did I have a negative reaction to the laser. I arrived for my appointment and due to a power outage the day before a sign was placed on the door to "call duke energy" if I wanted info on when the power would be back on. What kind of business doesn't call their appointment for the next day and let them know they will not be open.. I worked with Alisha during my laser hair removal appointments. I purchased a package of 6 treatments for my arms, legs, and underarms. She made me feel very comfortable with the entire process and addressed my questions about how the laser used (YAG) would not damage my skin (I'm African-American). Alisha was professional, personable, and took care to perform the treatments in a methodical and thorough way. Over the course of my treatments my hair got progressively finer and took longer to grow back. I even have places that the hair stopped growing completely. The facility itself is very clean and inviting. My appointments started on time and generally took about 1 hour to complete which is great considering one person was working on basically my entire body. I would highly recommend Indy Laser for laser hair removal. They are very upfront with their pricing (it is plainly listed in their brochures and on their website).
