This was a wonderful and seamless experience. The team has the best interest of the animals in mind…read moreand really make sure they are comfortable and confident with the potential adopters and that it will end in success! The adoption rates are very affordable as well! We had a thorough meeting with our new dog and the handler, met with the adoption team, the behavior team and the medical team and all were very helpful explaining each step and took the time to address any questions we had to walk-through the complete process and history of the animal, as they know it. And the facility is just beautiful! On the dog side, they make it really easy to interact with dogs being considered for adoption and it was just a wonderful experience to find our perfect match and help a dog in need!

Staff was kind, helpful, educated, and efficient. The facility itself is new, clean, and organized. There was no annoyance by my 100 questions, just attentiveness and passion for their work. After listening to my hopes, they gave me a list of cats to view. Horace (shoutout) was so lovely but a little too young for me. Then they brought in Ella, surrendered at 14 just a week before I showed up. She's beautiful. She was shy, but I took a chance. They gave me all the paperwork and linked me to a vet. I was expecting to be there until closing. I was in and out within 2 hours: from looking to having Ella in hand ready to go home. I will be recommending HSHC in the future.

You can reserve time increments of 15, 30, and 60 minutes of time in the cat lounge or enjoy the space near the beverage bar with a view. Pawz Pet Cafe includes pet grooming, boarding, supplies, 2 Maine Coon Cats, and a bunch of adoptable cats looking for new homes. Such a mood booster and highly recommend if you're in the area!

Put them together, and you have a wonderfully easy way to help pets. At Pawz Pet Cafe, all of the cats and kittens that live here are adoptable, and you can visit them. The cats come from Paws on my Heart, Inc., a no-kill cat rescue that takes in cats from many different counties around Indiana. Some people visit Pawz Pet Cafe to suss out a forever friend. But my kids and I visited just for the kitty cuddles. But if you're interested in adopting a cat, there's a binder on a table with information about each cat that you can peruse through. You can also speak to one of the friendly people who are in the sanctuary, and they are happy to answer questions. All of the cats at Pawz are vetted and ready to be adopted. My children and I have visited a few cat cafes, and we all agreed that the cats here were the friendliest we've ever encountered! Most of the cats were ready to play and visit. We did visit right at noon when they opened, so that could be why. I'm thinking that if you want the cats at their freshest, you probably want to visit as early as possible when they aren't touched- and people'd-out. As of this writing, you don't have to make a reservation in order to visit the kitties, but it is recommended. Visiting sessions are in 30- and 60-minute increments. We booked 30 minutes but could have easily stayed a whole hour. Somehow, time slips away when you're petting a cat! Petz also has a beverage bar, which mostly consists of boba beverages as of right now. They are supposed to have coffee soon. My children each got the two most popular boba drinks: Fireworks Fizzle and Catnip Cooler. They both enjoyed their drinks! You'll also find a few snacks, like chips and candy, which you can enjoy in the lounge area away from the cats.
