I have seen some outstanding haunted attractions and I've seen some horrible ones. Unfortunately, this one falls to the side of horrible. I went on the Saturday after Halloween, the last night of operations. I thought the midway was ok and the paint ball zombies was definitely the highlight of the night. It's always fun to shoot real people with paintballs and for $5 for $25 shots, that's not bad. It's too bad that this is the best part of the attractions. The two outdoor haunts are horrible. The wooded haunt (Backwoods) is laid out poorly and is a long way from one are to the other with nothing to see or make you feel uneasy in between other than being in the woods at night. The other outdoor attraction (Infected) had us walk through a corn field from one tent to another. It was a cohesive theme of army tents initially until we made it to the house which would have for better inside of backwoods. 0 scares in either. The indoor haunts suffered from being too open and didn't make me feel uneasy at all. The asylum had very large hallways and ceilings. There was nothing but writing on the wall on between. The rooms were huge and did not have any pop outs or anything. The best one was Bedlam 3d. The painting inside was excellent. Overall they don't seem to know the recipe for horror: build anticipation, distract and scare. They failed to do all of that. I'm also disappointed that with as much as tickets are, they had some horribly built props that looked horribly fake, especially the cheap homemade pneumatics. Best one was in the 3d haunt but as someone else said, because our group caught up with the previous group, I saw everything before we got to it :( read more

I have made Scream Park a fall tradition for 7 years. After having had other members of my groups and now myself harassed, belittled, and talked down to by their employees, it is sad to say that I will never again visit this event, and I will advise anyone that asks or talks about this place the same. Their "line monitors" have attacked friends of mine in years past accusing them of touching the workers within the haunted houses, then screaming at our entire group and threatening us, then not even allowing the accused patrons to ask questions as to what these employees are even talking about. This year, after exiting one haunted house and making our way to the next, I bent over and went under several of their strings they have strewn unnecessarily all over to coral the lines of people waiting for the haunted houses. It was late in the evening, raining, and no one in any of the lines. I was attempting to catch up to my family as they had gone through the haunted house faster than I had. In my attempts to catch up to my family I was attacked by 2 "line monitors" and forced to turn around walk 100 feet back, then re-enter just to get back to where I was. Again, no one in sight other than my family members, who I was trying to gather with before moving on to the next haunted house. I calmly tried to explain to the 2 employees that we all had the fast pass tickets and I was only simply trying to catch up with my family. These 2 employees had zero sense other than what appeared to be a need to flex the only power they've ever had in their lives as haunted house employees. They were so adamant about once again breaking me apart from my family and trying to embarrass us, that one employees felt the need to call for the police, which I happily spoke to & explained to absurdness of this whole altercation. After 7 years of frequenting Scream Park this was the final straw. I will never again patron this place & will advise anyone and everyone I can away from this place. read more

I went on a Saturday night with hubby and 16 yr old, and having read other reviews, decided to spring for fast-pass and bought tickets on-line. Thank God, because even the line to get in was huge, and just a foreshadowing of the lines inside the park. We skipped most of the long lines ... there were still some lines, but not nearly as bad as it could've been, and made it work the extra couple bucks for the fast pass. As far as the screams go, we had a of of fun. The 3D house was way cool, especially the "spinning" bridge. Skip the second house if you can (the black house) and if you can't, hold on to the person in front of you. It's pitch-black so you have to feel the walls to find your way, and those walls are electrified ... so as I grabbed my hubby's sweater, every now and then I'd hear him or the 16 yr old curse as they were shocked. Not my idea of fun or even scary ... just annoying. The outdoor features were also fun, but a little repetitive on the theme of scary backwoods guy holding hostage screaming white kid. If you're like my son, you'll spend the whole time trying to play it cool and not get scared. If you're like me, you'll play along and "scream like a chihuahua" (in the words of one of their "actors") and have fun. Not something I'll do every year, but fun for every few years. read more

Don't go the last Saturday before Halloween unless you want to wait over 2 hours in line for the 3 indoor haunts.... I have visited Indy Scream Park before and had a great time, but this year was just ruined because of the wait. Granted, I guess we should have arrived way earlier, but the wait was insane and really disappointing. They really need to come up with another way to get more people through. This haunted attraction is advertised as the best, so I would hope they could tweak the wait time and come up with alternate entrances, etc. Fingers crossed for improvements in the coming years! The park itself is great! There are 3 indoor haunts: Brickmore Asylum, Bedlam 3D, and Nauchtmahr. And, 2 outdoor haunts: Infected and Backwoods. In the very middle of everything is the Midway where you can buy drinks, food, and sit around a few fire pits to get warm. The set up is great and perfect for a big group of friends. My favorite haunt is Infected simply because of all the detail within the haunt. And, I'm thoroughly impressed with how everything is set up throughout each haunt, lots of time and planning! My husband did comment how all those within the haunts that try to scare people, they always go for the females...now I get it, we scream and jump more than men, but sometimes the men want to be scared too....so, just a note for anyone reading that works for Indy Scream Park :) All in all, impressive work, but the wait is just unacceptable. read more

I would rate this year's experience as 3 stars: A-OK. Why only 3 stars? I'll start with my frustrations first. We went after Halloween and purchased the VIP tickets ahead of time. It ended up not being busy at all so not really worth the additional cost. However, I imagine that a full house would DEFINITELY be worth it the shorter wait times. I also had a friend that came with me that accidentally purchased an extra ticket online ahead of time but wasn't able to get a refund because they have a no refund policy. I understand the reasoning for it, but it was a frustrating situation. I also feel that the fact they charge $5 per car for parking out in the middle of an unlighted and unpaved parking field (one of my friends did a face plant over a curb), seems unnecessary and a bit ridiculous. As far as the attractions go, they all seemed pretty well done. Although it was nice not having long lines, I have a feeling that it lost some of the excitement and energy that would likely be there when it was more busy. The "interactive attractions" seems like a cool idea in theory but I feel that it could have been implemented more effectively. I felt like several of the "scarers" ended up essentially tickling you. Suggestions for improvement include, possibly doing more of the quick grabbing to get more scares out of people. Maybe grabbing ankles (could be difficult to decipher because the glow necklaces are on upper body), possibly quick grabbing people behind a curtain to take them on a separate route away from the group. I loved the electric chair in the asylum. Very cool! I liked that it was very dark in there. The 3D attraction was really cool as well, especially the spinning bridge. I also liked the rooms where they lock you in and the air jets blast you. In general, I felt like a lot of creativity was put into the attractions and it was pretty well executed. First year going to Indy Scream Park. I was scared but the person I went with thought it was a little dull. Parking for this event? WHY? Are we not spending enough money as it is between ticket price, online charge, fast pass? Especially since the road back there is so messed up. Would also loved to have seen a general sign pointing you in the right direction for 69 N or 69 S when exiting the park. Middle of nowhere Anderson in the pitch dark. . . would have liked a little help. We opted for the outdoor haunts first since it was so cold out. We got there at 7:45pm and the Backwoods haunt still wasn't open and we had to come back. The other outdoor haunt only had a 10 minute wait to get in (but we had fastpasses). My biggest complaint about both outdoor haunts was that it was so dark, no extra lighting or anything, that you couldn't see any details about the haunts. You just knew you were in a dark room and some dark shape was coming at you. We paid a few bucks for the zombie paintball where a few zombies come out towards you and you can hit them with paintballs. Wish there were a few more zombies but what you gonna do? On to the indoor haunts. . . wasn't a fan that you couldn't pick which one you wanted to go into first. You have to go into them in a certain order. The exit for one is the entrance for the next and so on. I enjoyed the 3D blacklight one the best just because it was sensory overload. Not scary but you just have so much to take in. The bonfire area was nice to sit and relax . We decided we were there on teenager night or something due to the music the DJ was playing. Freddy Kruger and Jason were dancing amongst the crowd when they weren't taking pics with everyone which was fun to see. Prob won't visit again unless there are new haunts added. Be sure to wear warm clothes and shoes that can get muddy! Everyone walking on the same corn field path creates mud! read more

First off, I am NOT a fan of haunted houses but my husband wanted to go, so I went along. I have to admit that I did have a lot of fun (even though I'm pretty sure I closed my eyes through most of it). Brickmore was probably my favorite because of the shooting electricity everywhere at the very end. Bedlam was a lot of fun. It was like being a rave with a lot of scary people and clown. I don't remember the name of the third indoor haunt but it was the scariest for me. I closed my eyes and let my husband lead me through. After those we when to my favorite part, the midway. I had a few beers and ate some carnival food before we went to the outdoor haunts. The outdoor haunts were really scary because they don't put out a lot of lighting which means you are just walking though the wood or a corn maze at night and you can't see what is coming. Overall I had fun but the midway was my favorite part, even with the monsters walking around. read more

An excellent young haunt that will hopefully keep growing and getting better. This year was my first visiting Indy Scream Park, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The staff I spoke to told me the park was only about 4 years old, and for the age, they offered an amazing experience. The highlight was their 3 indoor houses. They were all very well done with good sets, makeup and actors. The 2 outdoor attractions were also good, though one was ruined for us by other patrons who refused to walk and were impossible to get around. read more

This was my third trip to Indy ScreamPark. Overall I enjoyed myself, however there is definitely room for improvement. First off, this is not "minutes from Indianapolis". To advertise that it is--is absolutely ridiculous. It's a solid 40 mins to an hour depending on this years construction on I-69. Secondly, the actors in Brickmore Asylum seriously need to watch a movie about real crazy people. Not scary at all. I will say that the sets and props were pretty great--but the actors definitely need to kick it up. I also thought the characters walking around the Monster Midway were great a few years ago--but this year...I noticed a lot more breaking character...and the rubber chicken--lame. A couple years ago Backwoods was a great experience...this year...not nearly as good. There were way too many old ladies "wanting sugar" and there was not nearly enough jacked up stuff going on. Plus they need to space their chainsaw guys out. 3 chainsaw guys is a great idea...but space them out way more. The sets, props, and ideas behind these haunts is genuinely good. We had a phenomenal experience 2 years ago. Unfortunately this year left much to be desired. My biggest suggestion is teach those Asylum people how to genuinely act crazy and don't allow people to break character. Prices are definitely high--but for 5 attractions Id say they're not the worst. The online fee is complete crap though. We're already paying to drive there, park, and for admission--leave the crappy fees off. Not cool. read more

A group of 7 went on a Sunday night, ages 13-49. Every attraction was really well done. It was SUPER muddy, the walk through the woods was frustrating and slow with only a few characters, I almost wish they had closed it due to the muddy conditions. The 3D was the best, I would have loved to do that one again but we ran out of time. The Pudding character was the BOMB, I'm not sure he was acting or if he was just being himself. read more

Worst possible service of any haunted event I've ever been to in my 50 years. I'm a disabled veteran and when I tried to ask about handicap parking or spots closer than the back of the lot the attendant didn't even want to talk to me. He just kept waiving his flashlight. Then he said the open spots closer to the front were for management. So tough luck, park here. Then we went from one attraction to the next and was walking towards the last one, the fifth one, but they closed it. They turned away an African- American family right before us. They said go complain to customer service because we close at 10:30. The guy inside the window was a real jerk. He said if you aren't in line, too bad. We're closed. When my fiance spoke up he said he "wasn't listening to her kind" and closed the window on us. We turned away, shocked, and headed toward the exit. Then the guy and another guy rushed out telling us we're trespassing and we made a big mistake. We were going to be arrested! He had a cop working there who was heading our way. We left. Left forever! I will never spend another cent on that racist pig's "haunted house"! Do NOT go there! read more

Went based on the social distancing guidelines on their website. NONE of the precautions were followed- overcrowded, employees and patrons not wearing masks, no social distancing. They should be shut down as they lied about their guidelines and people are going to get sick. I pray that my granddaughter didn't get sick. This place is a lot of fun. Several themed haunts that you can go through as many times as you want. Pricing is a bit steep to bring a big family. The midway area with refreshments and bonfire are a nice touch to hang out and relax. I would recommend the experience for some Halloween fun. read more

I am usually the scaredy cat in the group, but for whatever reason the only haunted house in the entire group that actually got me a few times was Backwoods. I didn't try the option of letting them interact with me, which may have been scarier. Overall, it was still a fun activity with friends. Had a great time last night: perfect weather and there weren't so many people that the wait was crazy since it was Thursday. This was my fist time ever coming here and I was impressed by the "common area" they three fire pits to sit by and you can even buy s'mores to make in these fires. The food prices were average but I paid $4 for a drink which I found outrageous. They also offer "zombie paintball" where two actors with run around while you try and shoot at them but it's an extra $7, among a few other games and a character sketch Artist. They had five attractions; zombies, back woods, asylum, 3D clowns, and an interactive prison. Maybe it was just because it was a Thursday but it seemed like the back woods attraction was a scarce on actors. Besides that I think they all did a great job and I will be returning again. read more

Who doesn't love a haunted house? We had a great time at Indy scream park. I'm not sure why it's called that because it's in Anderson, but that's okay. Tickets are priced differently based on what day you go. We went on Thursday and payed $29 a piece. The lines were also quite short so that was a huge plus. There are five attractions and the midway. First off, the midway is neat and there are scary people milling about. They mostly just take pictures with people. If you look particularly skittish they might mess with you. They serve beer, which is cool. The food is just ok. Lot of missed potential I think. There are some games as well but we didn't play any. Lots of port a potties available, all of which were clean. Black pool prison is their new attraction. It is interactive and was my least favorite. It offers the option of interacting with the actors. We did that and it just wasn't scary to me. And there is so much smoke! I hope to see something new in its place next year. Rage 3D is cool. If you are actually afraid of clowns do not even go near the line. It is very well done and I liked this one a lot. I want to tell you my favorite part but I hate to give it away. Zombie land apocalypse is sweet as well. There is fire and school buses. Couple that with hillbilly zombies and you have something for everyone. Once again, trying not to give too much away but they put a lot of work into this one and it shows. Just remember if it looks real it probably is. Back woods is a hike through the woods. They give you a glow stick. It's so the actors can see you coming. So make someone else hold it. This one was my favorite. It's also the longest. I wore flip flops an kind of regretted it by the time we were done. Don't look at his daughter, that makes him mad. Brickmore asylum was neat but could have been a little scarier. Don't get me wrong, it's super cool! Just weren't as many actors trying to scare people when we went through. I will say there was a police officer going opposite of us when we went out and heard someone he grabbed one of the actors so that might have been the issue. Still cool though. Overall this is well worth the admission price. It would be nice to see a little better quality food. Maybe burgers or something along those lines. So! Much! Fun! We screamed our heads off, made new friends and were scared out of our minds! My new rule - if they offer a glow stick, take the glow stick. The repercussions are totally worth it. We came a few years ago and enjoyed ourselves. But they have outdone themselves. We got the VIP pass, and our maximum wait was 20 minutes. As parents of small kids, we don't get out often. When we do, we want to make the most of our night out, so the VIP was a good choice for us. Overall, a fantastic night out. Great work, Indy Scream Park! read more

I'm allll about Yelp, so I signed up for Elite Night, but I was like, um, a haunted house, in the outskirts of Indy? Not feeling it, but I will check it out and try something new. I had waaayyyyy more fun than I even anticipated at the Indy Scream Park. For the life of me, I do not understand why this place has such craptastic reviews. Plus, we were there during regular hours so we really go to see how the place works. I was NOT expecting 5 attractions. Say what now? 5 haunted houses. 5 times the scares. Oh my! When I walked in the park I felt like I stepped into an episode of American Horror Story: Freak Show. There was an entire carnival set up complete with elephant ears, corn dogs, and other carnival goodness. Heck yes! I couldn't resist the apple fritters topped with powdered sugar. Uber delish! My Yelp peeps and I got our nerves together and set out to check out each attraction: Zombieland, Hillbilly Backwoods, Rage (which is 3D), Asylum, and a haunted Midway. We had a FastPass, which was so worth it. Although there was still a wait at times, we were able to get through each attraction fairly quickly. The next hour or so involved lots of screaming, running into people and even walls, more screaming, more running, almost being nabbed by a zombie, and sooooo much more. Shoutout to the Yelp crew I was able to connect with that night. They made my experience sooooo much more fun... and safer! You guys ROCK! Hands down, my favorite attractions was the Hillbilly Backwoods, Rage, and Zombieland. My peeps and I loved the Rage, 3D experience so much we went through twice. The colors, the 3D experience it was just incredible! When I left, my voice was hoarse and I wanted to go home and watch scary movies while drinking hot apple cider. I'm officially ready for Halloween! I would most definitely come back next year! Totally worth the 30 minute drive from Indy. read more

This place is not following covid guidelines what so ever. No one was spreading us out and we were so close to everyone. One of the "actors" in the woods told me to stay behind because I smell delicious and it made me really uncomfortable. Also thank god for masks because the sets smell so bad. So I went on a day that was 100% chance of rain and I decided to call and ask them what their rain protocol was and the woman just gave a gauge answer. I'm not sure if she didn't understand what I was asking. I do understand that I am going out in the rain to go. The 3 attractions that were open were fun. After I decided to go get some food and got the chili fries. I did think it was going to be Chili cheese fries but it was just a bunch of fries and little chili. And then I asked the gentleman was there something I can eat under and he chuckled and said well that's what happens when you come outside. Then we stood under the one tent that was close which was where the employees were standing. I just assumed when I asked the woman on the phone what the rain protocol was I assumed it was like tents somewhere dry to stand. Because they don't do refunds if it rains. read more

This was a bit of a roller coaster of an experience for me, the first attraction I went into (backwoods) was scary at first because the actors seemed to really be getting into it, it was super dark, and super long as well which I think helped make it scarier. I also like the parts of the circus and parts of the blackout, but even though they were both interesting, neither was really scary too me and seemed to have a lot of wasted potential. As for zombieland and mutation, I didn't particularly care for either, zombieland was sort of interesting because it was the second one I went into and the set was decent, but the makeup and the actors weren't scary, and nothing about mutation struck me as interesting or scary at all. One major issue was how many groups they let into each attraction, which led to it getting pretty clogged which sort of ruined the experience in basically every house except for the backwoods. The workers were also sort of hit or miss as well. Some of the staff and actors were really friendly and engaging and you could tell really wanted to be there, while other actors seemed sort of bored and some of the staff was INCREDIBLY rude at times. Idk, if I'd be interested in coming back here at this point. This place has SO much potential, but I felt like there just wasn't enough direction or effort put in. Here is what I personally think could be done to improve the haunt: I know they say they have 100 actors working in the haunts, but if that's the case they need to amp it up to 150 or more to make this place truly scary, amp up the costume and makeup design so it matches what you show in your pictures because most of the costuming and makeup wasn't scary and seemed rushed and poorly done, and finally make sure your employees actually act like they want to be there because I think that the major issue with their rudeness was that a lot of the staff and actors just didn't seem like they wanted to be there. Also, give the girls at the drink booth, the young African American man that was manning the blackout, and guys walking around the concession area in costumes a raise or something because all of them were killing their jobs. read more

5 haunts in all that you can go thru as many times as you can in the allotted time (hope it's not busy), they did a lot of yelling which wasn't scary, it was annoying. A super fun DJ, you can paintball shoot zombies which was kinda cool, the food was over priced and the menu was minimal, the bon fires and the characters waking around were awesome, the fact that when we played the carnival ball game the operator blatantly told us not to forget to tip him seemed rude as heck to me, I don't think it was worth $32 per person. The web site had a lower price advertised then the price at checkout. I called and they said they had to fix it...i think they should have given me the lower price since I called to complain. This was one of the BEST Yelp events EVER! I've never been to Indy scream park before and I was so amazed by it all. Well organized, great space, well set up, good staff. Really appreciate the fast pass tickets they gave us for attending with yelp. The haunted houses were so much fun! I had no idea what to expect really, and it ended up being one of our favorite nights out! Definitely makes a great date night or just overall fun! Loved the fire pit area too and that you can make smores. read more

Third year I've gone and I have enjoyed it just as much as I did the past two years, possibly more! I went on Oct 22nd - a Monday. Lines were short, we were rarely interrupted by other groups and when we were the actors went along with it flawlessly!! Also - the actors were champs when it came to changing situations but possibly work on some of the props a little more. A few were obvious fakes which took away from the experience. This was my whole groups first time to the Screampark. Family members have talked it up for years as great costume's & scary haunts. My group had a terrible experience. We all paid extra for zombie paintball. They gave us a small cup worth of paintballs instead of the 100 we paid for & all the zombies looked exactly the same & nothing like zombies, more like aliens. And the paintballs didn't break they just bounced off. It was just shooting at maybe 10 people from a bus seat. I didn't run into a zombie in zombies unchained until halfway through. And they also didn't look like zombies. Most of the haunt was just a bunch of junk cars honking at you when you passed. There seemed to be almost no actors in most of the haunts & they were all very, very short. You spend an hour in line for 3 minutes of disappointment. The backwoods haunt was a huge wait in line & then a leisurely stroll through the woods with everyone so close together it wasn't even creepy let alone scary. I bought a shirt at the start of the day for $18, gave her a $20, & found out they don't give back change. But don't tell you before. I thought maybe it was a fluke & bought a soda to also not receive my change from a $5. They didn't even have coins in the registers and won't give you 1's, either. I got paintball goo on my hands & asked customer service if there was anywhere to wash my hands or even just paper towel to wipe it off but they said there was nowhere with running water. I had to spend the rest of the night trying not to touch anything or accidentally get any in my eyes. With the combination of short, mediocre haunts, stealing my money, no access to hand washing during a pandemic, actor's makeup so terrible my group mistook a zombie as a lost customer in one of the haunts, & getting jipped on paintballs, I could never recommend anyone pay $50 to come here. read more

The haunted houses (5 of them) are great, but the rest of the experience kind of sucks. The midway is cool, but you have to pay the same price to just sit by the fire and purchase overpriced food and drinks there as you do to actually go through the haunted houses. It was not always like that, so apparently they are just getting greedier. Or, maybe they think the midway is worth the price of admission. It isn't. You have to pay to park in a big field, which is pretty much a joke too. This place would be so much more worth the $35-75 per person to visit if you could just drive up and go to the haunted houses. I was expecting a lot out of this place so that could be why my review is a little lower than everyone else's. But let's be honest - the scariest thing about this place is all of the horny high schoolers in line. Everywhere I turn, there are obnoxious teenagers either screaming profanity or sucking each other's faces. I highly recommend a weekend strictly for 21 and older, but on the other hand I understand that more than half of their income most likely comes from that age range. On to the haunts. Some of the acting was okay and there were a few actors who actually freaked me out. But besides that it was just mediocre. Their best attraction I believe was Zombieland. That one had the best actors. All of the other houses felt slightly forced. However another thing I enjoyed was the anticipation of walking into a new room and guessing where the next scare would be. Overall, two stars from me. I wasn't as scared as I wanted to be so I kind of wish I would have done the interactive experience in the mazes that had them. read more

I made plans with my partner and a close friend to visit Indy Scream Park on Friday, October 25th. We decided it would be in our best interest to arrive early to avoid the crowds. I visited their website prior to leaving to see if purchasing tickets online would save us some cash. They advertise that you can save $4 off general admission when purchasing online; however this is quite misleading as each online purchase also has a $2 surcharge. This left a bad taste in my mouth, so I just decided to pay in person. We arrived around 6:30pm. Their website says that they open at 7pm. After paying $5 to park in a muddy field we made our way to the ticket booth. There were 6 people standing in the "online ticket" line and no one standing in the "general admission" line. One patron on the online ticket line explained that they were having connectivity issues and it would be a while for the online tickets. We proceeded to the general admission line. I was informed that they could not accept a credit/debit card - cash only. Thankfully the others in my party covered for me. I was informed that there was an ATM onsite if I needed cash. In today's world of wireless technology accepting plastic is so easy. Not sure why they made the decision to accept cash only - especially when the ticket price is $30. We were given the option to pay $10 additional to visit the attractions a second time. We declined. The midway area is nice. They had some fires burning and it really set the scene for a great fall evening. I made my way to the beer vendor to grab a brew since we would be waiting for a few minutes. After standing there for a few minutes the lady behind the counter crassly explained that they were not open and it would be a while. Her delivery was rude. Ok, no beer for me. We made our way into the 3 indoor haunts. We were one of the first people in line. The VIP line outnumbered the general admission line two times over. The attendant would let 3 groups of VIP in and then one group of general admission. Since there so few in general admission we still got to go through faster than if we had purchased a VIP ticket. If I had purchased a VIP ticket I would have been livid. They should have limited the amount of VIPs that they sell - very poor planning and business decision. We really enjoyed the 3 indoor haunts. The actors really seemed to be enjoying scaring us and the effects were all well done. I especially liked the 3D black light effects - very cool. We made our way to the 2 outdoor haunts. Several workers were congregated around a sign that said that they attractions did not open until dark. It was dark. We were informed that they would not be opening until around 8:00pm and that they were waiting on the actors to get into place. We lined up in front of the sign. These workers seemed very jaded and enjoyed what little authority they had over us. They were rude and lacked any customer service skills whatsoever. Several minutes later all of the actors walked by - ruining any surprise of what they looked like or what we could expect - lame. We were finally allowed to enter the corn maze. As others mentioned their timing was off - so we got to see all of the people in front of us get scared yet we were not scared at all. By the time we made it out of this haunt - "Infected" there were hundreds of people in line waiting. I was blown away by how many people were in line. At $30+ a pop these people are making some fat cash - enough cash to hire some workers that have manners. Workers were screaming to get into this line or that line for the last haunt - it was so dismal that we opted to leave and not attend the last haunt. As for going through again for the additional $10 - I don't think it would have been possible due to the huge amount of people in line. We love Halloween and haunts, but will not be attending this one again. For $30 I can drive another 30 minutes and visit Kings Island. read more

This year was my 2nd year going. I was a bit disappointed this year. You pay a pretty penny to get into the attractions so I expect to see EVERYTHING I paid for. But the lines were outrageous! Was it scary? Eh.... I will say it was much scarier the first time I went through the park. They didn't do much to change it for this year. So if you have already been to Indy Scream Park I would search for other places. read more

Total disappointment. First of all: Don't buy your tickets online. Parking is $7 online but only $5 in person. The line to enter in person is shorter as well. I'm not sure why it takes so long to scan a barcode, but apparently it is rocket science. Secondly: They let WAY too many people go in at once without enough gaps between groups. There were absolutely no scares because you saw everything ahead of time. If you were in the back you saw everything happen and if you were in the front you saw it from the group ahead of you. You would be better off spending the money on some scary movie rentals, pizza, and beer at home with friends. Lastly: Why this is called "Indy" and not ANDERSON Scream Park is beyond me. It took us an hour to get there and we live in downtown Indy. Waste of gas and time. We won't be back. read more

I was completely disappointed and I wish there was a way to get my money back. We live 10 minutes away from Indy scream park and as a newlywed couple with a daughter we saved up just to be able to go to this "scary" attraction. We paid a babysitter to watch out daughter, 10$. We drove up and had to pay 5$ to park our car in a mud pit. We paid 54$ for two tickets, then saw the line and spent another 26 for the VIP fast pass. The fast pass got us into the first haunted house in less than a minute, which was nice, but then the disappointments started. We laughed more than we were scared. The 3d attraction was visually cool, but the only statement I have is the clowns need to eat a breath mint. The dark part was next, and it was annoying. We did twists and turns and ran into the group in front of us. Everyone was packed into the place and no one could move, and there was nothing scary, just a twisting turn of dark hallways, that's it. Then we continued to the nightmare. This was kind of cool in terms of the scenes, but once again they let people through in a long line and therefore there was no scare, it was just a train of people looking at scenes of domestic violence portrayed by crappy actors. Finally we encountered the outdoor scenes, the Tate woods was a nice romantic walk in the moonlight with an occasional building we had to walk through. In two of the buildings there were no actors just repair men fixing parts. Then the chainsaw chased one of the girls in our group and we laughed, next was Infected, once again a walk through a corn field in the moon light. There were only 2 maybe 3 actors in the whole maze, I saw the rest of them at the entrance of line smoking cogaretes. I spent a total of 54+26+5+10=95$ for 3 hours of complete disappointment. Indy scream park? More like Indy waste of time. We could have done a lot of other things with 95$. I suggest you don't waste your money, it's not worth it. It's not even worth 20$. read more

Traveled too far and paid to much for 30 minutes of scare. The place was slow and only allows one time through. We bought V.I.P. Online because we were traveling an hour to get there and did not know what to expect. read more

Completely worth the money! I have no voice now from screaming lol. I will be back. All the attractions are scary but the worst is the all black room....OMG! I would not take kids but some people did. Only down side was $5 for parking and long lines. It took us about 3 hours to get through the whole thing so dress warm! read more

This has to be the worst. Started with parking. I paid for parking passes with my tickets. I paid 7 dollars for parking when parking was only 5 dollars in person. Next everyone bought VIP tickets. The lines for VIP were almost as long as the general admission. Then none of the 5 attractions were scary at all. They sent such large groups in that the people in the back saw everything ahead of them. Lastly, I bought elephant ears for all of us. They charged an 18 percent gratuity on every charge card purchase. Then you go to the next booth over for drinks and they don't take cards. This was one totally lousy experience. read more

Flippin awesome! Went on a Thursday and got tickets 20% off so it was a really good deal. Lines were pretty long so might be worth it to splurge on VIP passes (I didn't). Definitely check out Zombieland - freaked me out good. Wish we would've had more time to hang at the Midway, just an overall really fun night and the creepy factor was REAL. read more
