Loved this haunted house! So many theatrics! Tons of machines and lots of hard working actors. You can tell they really put a lot into this production. Lots of air puffs, ppl jumping at you, machines jumping at you. The machines tend to jump out a little close so that made it scarier. There was only one time it was pitch dark and one time you had to squeeze thru which was not good for my claustrophobia. Just when you think you're done, you're not! One more haunt at the end. There's a little drink stop with beebs and photo ops. They make you wait before starting to make sure there is ample space between groups. Wow! What an experience. I love the props, make up, jump scares and theme. I've been here every year and everytime its and better experience! So exciting I could go back multiple times a year!... if you love haunted house or just the excitement you definitely have to add this to your must visit!!! My sister and I went for my birthday! It was a great attraction compared to others we been to! Line was a little lengthy but we got thru it. There was a scare every corner we turned and we loved that! Def got me a few times jumping and screaming. I might've even ran once! We will be back again sometime! Great time! Long line, false advertising (only did 2 attractions), not a lot of rest rooms, and was not very scary.

We had so much fun here! Really enjoyed the first few rooms and the ending. I loved that it was a story and not just a bunch of random rooms strung together. There was one area that really didn't fit with the others, but it still was cool. The interactions with the cast were nice and thoughtful. Great actors! I definitely had some good scares. Coolest haunt in the Midwest. I don't want to spoil all the amazing scenes and settings of this location. 4 haunted attractions all severed up in one big facility. Some will feel as if it's just one big haunt, but the story and settings change pretty drastically between the haunted attractions within. Makeup and costumes are great, with my only complaint being that the Makeup styles across all the attractions are similar enough that it all feels within one big world. So that might be where people say this is only one big attraction. A must see for sure, every season and any event. Definitely a hidden treasure of the Haunted attractions Indy has to provide. read more

The 13th Hour Haunted Attraction is, hands down, the best Haunted Attraction in Indy. The actors really act. The sets are wonderfully designed. The effects are fantastic. The scares are well done and well thought out. There are no mask-wearing maniacs chasing you with chainsaws because they don't need such mindless scares when they have the much more terrifying intelligent scares! To be fair, you will jump at many times. The attraction has a genuine plot with you as a starring role working your way through 3 separate areas. This Haunt is put together by people who clearly love what they do and know how to do it. read more

We took our teenage sons and their friends. They had a great time. The theme was really cool and the staff did a great job. The line was a bit long to get in but it was great for people watching and they played music to make it more entertaining. Overall, a great experience and the first one for our kids. Actors pregnancies and sets were beautifully done. Worth the price! We went around 8:30, and finished just after 9-virtually no wait in line whatsoever. The line was significantly longer as we exited than it was when we arrived. If going before 9, probably safe to do general admission. This is in my humble opinion, the #1 Haunted house attraction in the Indianapolis area, HANDS DOWN! This is my second year attending and I again had high expectations based upon my visit last season. What sets this haunt apart is the actual craft of the haunt! Every detail is SO meticulous and that extends into the storyline, the decor, the makeup and acting as well as the special effects!! Bravo Thirteenth Hour for giving us not only scares but a beautifully creepy well thought out haunt. There were multiple times I wanted to take pictures because the attention to detail was so unbelievable! (NO PICTURES ARE ALLOWED!) Heavy on the religious themes throughout the haunt there are dozens upon dozens of flickering led candles and votives that made the scenes look crazy realistic! The actors tell a story as well as scare you, which makes the continuity of the haunt that much better! The Thirteenth Hour is a definite measure of "quality" over "quantity" vs. other "scream parks" in the area. The tickets are not outrageous in price and the haunt is a good length that has several stops and start points if you will. You can tell the people behind the Thirteenth Hour are true horror craftsmen/women and the end result is a product they should be damn proud of. read more

You guys... I pride myself on my extensive knowledge and experience with haunted houses in the area but The Thirteenth Hour is just different in the best way possible. The intricate sets, detailed and committed storyline, everything about it is perfect! I am obsessed and will 100% be coming back. I have a feeling even with being a no touch haunt they will be my new favorite which is a title Nightmare on Edgewood has held for years.... I don't understand how they could've done this SO RIGHT in only their second year. All I can say is wow...! This haunt is not your typical gory, cliché attraction. It follows a storyline with actors who give "cut scenes" every so often throughout. They only let one party in at a time, so it's paced well for the performances. The quality of the costumes, make up, and theming is excellent! Overall, it's very creative and well done! My only nitpicks would be their ticket pricing online is a bit confusing/incorrect. For example, the fast lane 4 pack was a bit more expensive than just buying individuals. Also, I would've loved to see more theming and scares on the wooded path that leads you back! Regardless, I loved it! read more

My friends and I went to this place last night. There were 13 of us and we have gone to haunted houses together for almost 20 years. The Thirteenth Hour is the best one we have gone to in a long time. The connected stories were believable. The cast was spot on with storyline, costumes and make up. They stayed in character throughout. The set up was top notch. Special effects with the strobes, fog and pops of air keep us scarred through all 3 houses. You can definitely see that the owners spent time and money thinking of how to give the customers a scary experience. Free parking was a bonus. The price was affordable and the line was just right. I wish I understood what all the hype was here. I get one night every year to do a haunted house and picked this one, and I'm seriously disappointed. For $60 for my boyfriend and I, it was short, not at all scary, and no special effects or anything. I've been to cheaper haunted houses that have more detail and surprise elements like mirrored rooms or areas you have to crawl, etc. This was just boring honestly and every actor was the same. By far, this is the best haunted attraction I've been to in Indiana, and I have been to just about all of them. Themed, for the most part, not random from room to room with the typical characters. Top notch costumes and props. All of the make-up actors were cleverly face masked to not ruin the vibe. From entrance to exit was just over 30 minutes. This was a really cool and intimate scare experience for my boyfriend and I, we had the opportunity to go through all alone and it was perfect. We really enjoyed the story telling aspect of The Thirteenth Hour and I enjoyed a new theme, cathedrals and the journey to hell! The actors were awesome and the set and special effects were killer. Scares were around every corner and although they couldn't touch you the actors got very close and kept in great character. The haunt actually scared my boyfriend, which I enjoyed! Had a lot of fun at this haunted house started out awesome with the Cathedral but I thought they could of done better on the last attraction the mine, but the squares are good and I like the way they ask who is the sacrifice is going to be and then the exit was awesome just wish it had a little bit more scarce at the end with the heartbeat. read more

By far the best haunted house we have been to, ever! The actors stay in character and props, costumes and scenery are so elaborate and authentic it seemed like we stepped right into a real life Stephen King scenario that went on and on. Our only complaint is the line you wait in weaves through a loading dock area so it was a little uncomfortable waiting on the sloped incline. It was so, so worth it though! The price was just $18 and I know it took us 30-45 minutes to make it through all 3 haunts! The couple that went through with us were scared to death too, but loved every minute of it. I took a group of teens here because we wanted a haunted house that wasn't going to blow our budgets. We got $20 tickets online ahead of time for last night. For the teenagers I had this haunted house was just right. The girls screamed their way through the attractions. I liked that there was a storyline that the characters gave and not just walking though of scary things. We recently moved here from Seattle and really enjoyed going to the haunted houses in that area. By far this is the best one!! This was our first time at this haunted house. We both really enjoyed it. It is well themed, the actors are convincing and the costumes are very good. It is outside with a gravel walkway, so if it's chilly bring a jacket. We bought the fast track ticket option at Costco which saved time and money. As an added bonus, we got to meet Ben the owner as we were leaving.
