We had a tent popped up in the parking lot for attendees to enter through and since it was night time too, I wanted everyone to be safe. The day before the event, I found K9 Security online and gave them a call. I was impressed that they were open and I could call on a Sunday. Their hours are super accessible and their prices are amazing too. For under $50 an hour (for one security guard and vehicle in my situation) you can have your entire event feel secure. Beyond being a great option logistically, they were so nice and helpful on the phone. I explained the event and they shared the option to have an unarmed guard, armed guard, a security vehicle, or a combo. I asked what they recommended and they sent a guard and the car. They then immediately sent a simple contract to my email and an online invoice. It was so easy, quick, and straightforward. The next day, the nicest security guard showed up to our event (on time). He walked into the venue, introduced himself, and monitored the parking lot the entire event. He texted me when we had an attendee arrive late and had great communication. He also found me before he left to share about the experience and let me know he was leaving. I will 100% be calling again in the future and sharing about K9 with my event planner friends. Their call center customer service line is horrendous - they really do not care about their customers at all.  Like many others, COVID has hit our family and we are barely able to put food on the table and a roof over our heads.  Guardian Protection offered no support or alternative/cheaper plans for the last year of our contract (the first contract I signed with them was 3 years - my fault for not reading the renewal when we moved to a new home that it jumped to 5 years). Today I called to cancel my service at the end of my contract - exactly three months from now. I was told that I could not cancel now - but I had to call back 30 days from the end of the contract.  If I do not, my contract will be renewed on a month-to-month basis.  So, in other words, I call back on exactly  April 20th, or I'm stuck for another month.  I asked that a note be put in my account that I'm canceling now, and giving 90 days notice, but was only told, by Matt, that I needed to call 30 days prior to the end of  the contract. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, Matt took my number (which is already in my account, so....?) and told me a supervisor would call today. Still waiting...

I read the reviews including one from Dani, a fellow Yelp Elite whose vibes I generally trust. I called. Quick pick-up. Pretty casual. He was going to text me and I would text back the address. He did very quickly and I texted back. He said he'd be by in about 15-20 minutes. He made it in right about 20 minutes. I'd figured it would be a quick job and it was a quick job. He got in my car, saw the keys, and we were good to go. We had a fair price, not really a great price but a fair one, and he was able to accept cash, credit card, Venmo, or CashApp. I was having trouble getting into my Venmo (you could tell credit card was a bit more of a hassle, but we decided to go that route). He used Square and I got a text receipt confirming my payment. As much as I always hate to spend a decent amount for such an easy job, the truth is he couldn't have been much better. He arrived on time, got the job done, charged a fair price, was friendly, and the problem was ultimately solved. So yeah, I would definitely use again.

The tow truck game faster than the estimated time frame and I had my vehicle sitting at home soon waiting to go the mechanics the next day. From the Plainfield area to downtown Indy was about $133 for those looking for an idea of towing pricing.
