Emma's been walking my two dogs since summer 2021. I feel so lucky to have found such a trustworthy, caring and reliable person to walk my dogs. I have a high-energy, extroverted puppy that needs a midday power walk while my other dog is a shy senior who prefers short strolls. We are so fortunate to have found Emma for our pup! Our (almost) 9 year old Pug has become more and more aggressive towards other dogs over the years. Before that, she loved playing with other dogs and it made us upset to see that every interaction turned into a nightmare situation and that we would just have to keep her away from other dogs in general. After a big dog fight occurred that, we knew it was time to look for a dog walker/boarding to slowly get her reacquainted with other dogs and to also have someone to leave her with that we trusted and knew could handle her temperament. After meeting with other dog walkers in the area and not being too thrilled, we found Emma. She came over to our apartment to meet Dylan and we knew immediately that she was perfect for our pup! She was kind and gave Dylan attention but she also showed authority which was exactly what our dog needed. After Emma left, we emailed her back to setup a schedule to start walking Dylan. Although having her walked regularly was important to us our main goal was boarding. We moved to California over 2 years ago and are constantly traveling for work and flying back and forth to the East Coast where our family is. We began to feel badly when bringing her on our flights after she started showing signs of anxiety. We would never leave her at a kennel because of her anxiety and aggression towards other dogs and knowing they'd probably have to keep her alone and separate most of the time in an uncomfortable place. Besides, she has only been boarded one other time in her life. By our first time we needed to board Dylan, Emma had already successfully gotten Dylan to walk with other dogs without being aggressive -- we were seriously amazed. We still were really nervous to board her the first time --not because we didn't trust Emma, but because we were worried Dylan would start a huge dog fight, etc. and it would be our fault. Emma reassured us that she would be completely fine and that she was confident in Dylan and handling her around other pups. So we gave it a go! She sent us constant updates and photos of her playing with her dogs and the other dogs that were boarding there as well. She lets them run around like they would in your own home and has a yard outside for them to play. It was such a relief to not have to worry! Since then we have boarded Dylan COUNTLESS times with Emma. Emma has always been available for us to board her even last minute and on holidays which has been a lifesaver. Not to mention her prices are impossible to beat! I know a lot of people say this about their dog walkers but Emma really does treat them like her own and truly has a gift when it comes to interacting/caring for dogs. Love these guys. Emma and Jason have been caring for my hounds for literally years now. Hmmm, let's see...8 years is it? Wow. Yeah, totally dependable, honest, let me know what's going on with the dogs. My dogs really love spending time with them. There are no words to truly convey how amazing Emma is as a dog walker. Words that do come to mind are; thorough, considerate, high-energy, detail-oriented, compassionate, professional, experienced, responsible, and honest. I have four small dogs, three Chihuahuas and one rat terrier who are basically like my children. I normally hike with them six days a week. This year I was pregnant with twins so I could no longer hike like I used to and I searched high and low for the right person to take my babies out. About 6 months ago I got into a situation where I needed to have someone take my 6 year old Corgi/Terrier "Donald" out for walks 5 days a week while I worked. My good friend recommended "Reservoir Doggies" to me. He had a nanny cam and had burned through 3 or 4 different dog walking companies and had trouble finding the right fit. He finally found "Reservoir Doggies" and he never looked back. I can't say enough good things about Emma and her company. When I get home from work each day I can tell that my dog has been properly walked and most of all he just seems really happy. She is an incredible value for the impeccable level of service and personal care, and she couldn't be easier to communicate and coordinate with. Several days a week, (1) Emma either picks Olive up and drops her off while I'm at work, taking her on a group hike, or (2) I drop Olive at Emma's, where she gets to hang out in an awesome yard with Emma's 2 adorable and friendly dogs and any other nice creatures who might be spending the day. I also board Olive overnight with Emma when I'm out of town. Even if Emma is away and can't board her for a given overnight, she'll help facilitate great alternatives. My only worry is that Olive enjoys Emma's more than being home! She hardly even looks back when I drop her off and is definitely sad the whole ride home. read more
