First of all, having a doula during childbirth makes all the difference. I just had my fourth child and this was the first time I had a doula present. Tiffany was there for me during my pregnancy and when my water broke but the contractions did not start Tiffany talked me through what to do and when to go to the hosptial. Once we got checked in Tiffany was there from beginning to end. This took off a lot of pressure of all of us. Tiffany helped me make the hard decision to get an epidural (after 3 natural birth) since this time being induced was more painful. She listened to my concerns and was very empathetic. She held my hand during delivery so daddy could be fully present and talk with the doctor during the final stages. What happened after was what made having Tiffany there an even greater blessing. Our baby girl had meconium stuck in her lungs and her vitals didn't look good. I was very confused and didn't know what was happening I saw the doctors working tirelessly on our girl and I asked my husband, there were so many nurses, Drs, all we knew at first that something very serious was going on. He stayed with me and comforted me while assuring me that Tiffany is right there watching over our baby. It meant the world to us to have her in that moment. We both felt like she was send as a guardian while both of us were in such a vulnerable state. We will never forget how she was there for us and turned a potentially traumatic experience into a memory that we love to look back on. Thank you Tiffany! read more

Full disclosure: we did not use Tiffany as a doula, BUT, we did trust her with our son at the age of four months. She wowed us immediatly with her professionalism, and organization, add to that her compassion and she is the complete package. Tiffany is an angel. Tiffany was the only caretaker that came to us with a binder showing us the different activities she would do/have for our son. She fit right into the family, and will always be considered a part of the family. The has taken such good care of our son from 4 moths to 15 months! We were doing a care share with another family that had a second child, so Tiffany worked for the other family full time, but we still do tons of play dates. From our first interaction i knew that Tiffany was going to be an integral part of my postpartum recovery as well as adjusting to motherhood. Tiffany has extensive knowledge when it comes to caring for a newborn. She was able to provide me support with pumping, bottle prepping and creating a nighttime sleep routine. Tiffany helped keep the house organized by taking care of light household chores that i was unable to get to throughout the week. In addition Tiffany was a great companion when my boyfriend was at work. What a wonderful experience to have Tiffany as our post partum doula. From the moment I met her, Tiffany's gentle, caring nature was evident. I knew she would be a great fit to care for my newborn daughter, Sailor. Tiffany cared for Sailor a couple of times a week until Sailor was 3 months old. Tiffany is wonderful! She spent time with us after the birth of our first child, at about 2 1/2 weeks old. As a new, first time mom to a particularly fussy baby, I was overwhelmed, emotional, and kind of lost. She spent time talking to us, as well as helping me through some very difficult issues I had been having with breastfeeding. Tiffany has such a warm, calm, friendly, and soothing presence, which was absolutely wonderful for our brand new baby. She carried her and soothed her, allowing me and my fiancé to enjoy a walk just the two of us for the first time in weeks. On top of being caring, and trustworthy with our precious baby girl, she also educated us on a lot that we hadn't learned, including creating nap routines, which were a complete lifesaver. She got Elise down for a nap for the FIRST time EVER in her bassinet! You can tell Tiffany cares so much and her kindness is extremely genuine. I appreciated that so much, as I was having a very difficult and sensitive few weeks postpartum. I would absolutely recommend her for any doula services she offers. read more

What a pleasure it was working with Tiffany. I was referred from my friend when I was interested in getting my placenta capsulated. She responded to all my questions and concerns in such a timely matter. Even though I never met Tiffany in person I immediately felt a trust and comfort when we communicated. She kept in contact with me through text when I was letting her know when I would be having the baby so she could come to the hospital to pick up my placenta. For her to come from Santa Cruz to San Jose for pick up and to delivery of my pills while I was still in the hospital was so sweet of her. Tiffany took care of our twin girls for a day when we visited Santa Cruz on a work trip. She was punctual, really nice and friendly, and a natural with our 11 month old twins. Without asking her to, she wrote down everything they did including a few things she found particularly cute and sweet. She stuck to our instructions and tended to their needs expertly. Her past references love and miss her and stay in touch with her (and her with them) and we would probably look into hiring her full time if she lived in NYC where we live. read more

Tiffany is fantastic! She helped our family as a night nanny for our 3rd child. We used her 4 nights a week. Our initial plan was 3, but she was so helpful we quickly added another night. She is very flexible with her schedule and was always accommodating to our needs. My husband and I wanted night help to maximize sleep as much as possible so we could both function better during the day with our 2 older children (not much time for naps!). Tiffany was perfect at night. She not only is great at working with and soothing newborns, she also brought a lot of knowledge and helped me as a nursing mother, something that I didn't expect given this was my third child. But every child is different and she has experienced many more babies than us! She was a great sounding board and it really helped me to discuss everything that was going on with my baby to Tiffany. Every feed, Tiffany would change the baby's diaper, bring him to me to nurse in my bed, and take him when I was finished. She would burp him and sooth him back to sleep, which saved me a ton of time every night. Having Tiffany do that work allowed me to fall back to sleep quickly. When our baby was sleeping, Tiffany straightens up everything! She wants to stay busy and always folded laundry, picked up clutter, cleaned up the dishes, and would help prep food or make the older kids lunches for school. We loved having Tiffany help our family. I really wish I would have used her with our first two children! I give her my highest recommendation for helping to care for your family. As a first-time mom, I was a little apprehensive about everything you need to know to take care of a newborn. There are so many books to read and classes to take that it becomes overwhelming. Tiffany was amazing at instilling confidence. She had tons of knowledge about everything you could possibly know about infant care, breastfeeding, the weirdness of baby behavior - and her knowledge gave me more confidence in my own instincts and skills.
