Infinite Recovery literally saved my life. I came here in January of last year and wasn't doing too hot. I came in really bad condition and they helped me get medically detoxed and then subsequently through rehab, PHP, IOP, & sober living. It's called infinite recovery because they want to keep people financially obligated and enslaved forever. The brainwashing starts as soon as you get to detox. It's sad because this is when folks are most vulnerable. If you don't have strong will, you can be taken for a long ride and ruin your life. The one star is for the food (which was a solid mediocre). Facilities: stale, uninviting, cold, and very much like a mental hospital. Staff: rude, condescending. It's hard to take them seriously when the entire clinical and recovery specialist staff look like they have a serious, life-threatening addiction to McDonalds. They are very petty, and seem to have the attitude of looking down on their clients. Program: 12 step and 12 step only. They are not at all open to other programs as options and are extremely closed off to any other paths to recovery. They also actively work to make the recovery community there as toxic as possible. First of all I know the owner .....started in 2015.....they are terrible and don't have any type of actual recovery". Infinite Recovery has truly given me a new chance at life. On the surface, the accommodations are comfortable and the food prepared by Chef Casey is delectable. Your needs will be well attended to and they provide a very comfortable atmosphere to recover in. On a personal note, the staff at every level of care are compassionate and motivated only by the desire to see you do well. I went through the Detox, Residential, PHP, and IOP levels of care (post IOP I'll be in their aftercare program) and I cannot thank Infinite enough for the outstanding service they provide. I have been given a "design for living" which is helping me address the underlying causes of the disease called addiction. Cessation of drinking is only the first step. If I could tell the shaking, detoxing mess of a human I was just how huge of a transformation we'd go through by the end of it, I would do it all again in a heartbeat. There's no follow through with what you're told to get you in. Every single female specifically there said they were told something and the the script flipped on them. There is nothing to eat outside of meal time which is unlike anywhere I've ever been. Even if it's string cheese and stuff in a fridge that's maybe not everyone's favorite but it's not nothing. I went in and didn't angrier with the program. I signed paperwork after a week at Texas star which completely Messed up My alcohol taper and then they refused to do anything for me. After I signed my four hour paperwork they threw me out within an hour. I wasn't given none of my already prescribed meds that I took in. None of which were narcotic - but then I shouldn't be surprised because I wasn't properly documented to receive my night meds the prior night. And because another clients girlfriend overdosed the night before they assumed it was my fault and that I was trying to convince him to go relapse with me. And heroine and I hadn't been a thing for almost a year at this point, I finally was able to get them to charge my phone enough to call or get anywhere after they busted me up to Austin I had no money and needed to get home. I'm sure in some extreme cases the rooms decked out with TVS you can't watch and the absolute isolation with no visits you're allowed, no tank tops don't take any of those even if it's midsummer because they won't warn you. It's not like there's no free time but a little here and there outside of anything it's literally not a moment to breathe and no luxuries whatsoever. Why would you have flatscreens in every room For people who are already going back and fourth to stare at? Why would you throw others out on assumptions? They ate the cost of my treatment of less than 24 hours and I'm sure this wouldn't have been the case if they had any dignified or fact based right to actually to what they put me through. I walked for a few miles having to stop every five minutes I was far enough to away to avoid the police threats.... never would ever recommend. Eish there's was less than one star. read more

The staff was absolutely the best, They are genuinely so caring and so sweet. They helped make me laugh on the hardest days. Emily was my therapist there and I've never had such a good therapist. She helped me with my trauma and also cared about me. I've never had that. The RAs made sure we were okay at all times and always had time for us and listened. I felt loved for the first time in a while. They had outdoor toys for us when we had time off, I always felt spiritually connected. It was also easier to focus with it being a smaller group of girls in the house. I spent my birthday there and they got me a cake with my name on it. The only thing I wish it was a longer program than a month. But I love and appreciate all the staff that works there and there program. Definitely would recommend. read more

If I could rate them a ZERO I would. I have one word for this company FRAUD! I checked my spouse in for detox and paid my full deductible $6350 which they claim is the amount required from my insurance company. I should have only paid $2250 according to my insurance which is the arranged amount agreed to by this facility with my insurance. It has been 6 weeks and I still have not been refunded the $4100 overpayment. It is impossible to get their accounting team on the phone. According to my spouse, we were completely misled about the conditions at the detox facility. It was unbearable. We ended up starting over with a much better facility and program (La Hacienda in Hunt, TX). Think carefully before giving these people your money or trust. read more

If I could give negative stars, I would. Infinite Recovery dropped the ball on our family. Less than 24 hours before we were supposed to transfer our loved one into their care, they said they were unable to provide for services. This left us frantic and panicked, forcing us to find a facility that would transfer our loved one within 20 hours. We first called Infinite 5 days before our loved ones transfer date, when I called Infinite, I spoke with "D" who was so easy to talk to, compassionate and understanding to what we were going through. It was so refreshing to finally speak with someone who understood what we were dealing with. Now, I feel like I fell for a scam, it was all a fraud. Our insurance was paying 100% of the cost with Infinite, minus a non refundable $100 admin fee. We were ecstatic that we found the perfect fit AND was covered by insurance. Infinite promises recovery and mental health support, we knew this was the place we were meant to be! But 22 hours before our loved one was being released from a 7 day detox and transferred to Infinite, we received a call that they were no longer offering services to us. No explanation. The same comforting intake specialist, "D" called and told me that Infinite was not going to be taking our loved one. "D" reassured me that everything will be okay and to call her if I had any questions but when I did call with questions, I was transferred to voicemail and my calls were not returned. My world was crushed, all the promises and lengthy conversations were worthless. Infinite dropped the ball. They dropped the ball on our loved one, our family and took our trust and vulnerability and disregarding it. The fact that the insurance paid 100% and Infinite decided to decline services is no coincidence. Infinite knew they probably weren't going to make a lot of money off of our family, so with 22 hours on a Friday, we were forced to spend hours on the phone looking for a backup. I do NOT trust ANYONE who works at Infinite, personally, I think they prey on the vulnerability, they did with us. There are many other more competent and professional recovery options in the Austin Metro area, save yourself the trouble, stress and heartache- STAY AWAY FROM INFINITE. In this line of work, trust is the most valuable asset, if you can earn the trust of a patient, if you can build a relationship and relate to the patient- the likelihood of a successful recovery goes up exponentially. Infinite earned our trust just to rip the floor out from under our family, leaving us unable to trust (not only)Infinite nor any other recovery facility. read more

I know this center really focuses on AA, although My experience was more hurtful than helpful. I had to be put in treatment and the only book I was allowed to read was the AA book. I'm a laid back person so since the facility was also a detox they constantly made me clean up Throwup from other residents multiple Times a day. We were only allowed one cup to use a day for water, someone threw up In mine and the staff laughed and said looks like you don't get water today. In group I had to go to the bathroom and they told me To piss my pants. I was constantly told I was just an addict and nothing more. I tried to go to a meeting after treatment but that place made AA seem like hell. That place just constantly reinforced how much of a loser I was so it's hard to trust any AA process. I told them I wasn't religious, so they made me get on my knees to pray (which they did not do to anyone else). It was mainly 19 year old RAs running the Place and treating me like trash to help feed their ego. I felt I was used as a punching bag for these kids' egos. I don't see myself as a victim but I feel I do deserve dignity. I expressed how I was raped before the program and they would have me repeat "I am not a victim, I put myself in that position for it to happen". The reviews here are by friends of the people that worked there. There are so many other places to go. I never had a counseling session. They even would make us clean more when a new person was coming in that was going to pay them a lot of money. BEWARE!!! This place is all about money and feeding the egos of the RAs. read more

This place really did help me. I removed my negative reviews because I was going through a medical change and I was not on the proper dose of meds where I am now according to the psychiatric team. Any way no one forced me to take the past posts down. I'm schizoaffective disorder with bipolar type 1 so I'm kinda f up in the head. Infinite was great I'd be dead if I didn't go. Emily was an angel for me and my legal stuff. So everyone who works there thank you for giving me my sobriety back and I swear last time I'll post something on Infinite. But basically yes go there. It's great. The four hour ama thing is weird, but this only my second time in treatment so what the hell do I know? Go there with an open mind and willingness to get sober and you will. I still am. First of all they take most mainstream insurance. Infinite recovery was a godsend to my friend in trouble. I contacted them out of desperation from an insurance referral. The sole owners are a couple and the wife was Miss Texas USA 2015 and first runner up Miss USA. The husband is a former heroin addict that was once featured on the Steve Harvey Show. They are very hands on, both managing every detail sparing no expense. It is more of a family that you are joining when you go to Infinite. I went to one of their monthly block parties and sat amongst hundreds of people who come just to listen to stories of survivors. I saw how much people idolize them. It is a true community. They have several houses in Austin. I hear that they just bought a large working luxurious ranch on a river just outside of town in the Texas hill country that is about to start accepting patients. You can't go wrong with Infinite. My friend is alive and literally worships them wanting to work for them. read more

Something I love about Infinite is that the employees genuinely care about each and every client that walks through the door. Infinite Recovery does not provide what they advertise or claim. The home that I paid $2500 for for a 30 day stay for a family member was deplorable. There was a roach infestation, inadequate supervision, blood stained bedding, and no phone line in the home the women were housed in. There contract provides no recourse or refund regardless on whether they deliver on what they advertise and verbally claim. They will roll out the welcome wagon and red carpet, but when you sign on the line and your payment is accepted, they have you over a barrel. Infinite Recovery is an incredible place with just a terrific team -- all of whom have been where you or your loved one have been - in the pit of addiction. Almost one year ago, my son nearly died from an overdose and a friend referred him to Infinite Recovery. From the first phone call with their interventionist, my husband and I felt that we were in exceptionally caring and capable hands. They basically stepped in and took over -- guiding both my son and us -- as with most families dealing with addiction, we were all lost and they provided a bright and beaming light. They were patient and loving but firm and no-nonsense with all of us. Our son moved through all of the levels of care available at Infinite Recovery (and they have them ALL covered). He started in the residential program in south Austin for inpatient and then moved to sober living and the partial hospitization program, finishing with the intensive outpatient program. In each of these phases he had amazing support and help (continued one-on-one therapy, 12-step meetings, group therapy) and after 5 months was able to move back East where he has been living and working since September. We will never be able to thank Infinte Recovery enough for helping our son find a a second chance at life. i took my son here on 3/31/21- i paid $1000.00 down payment- unfortunately my son walked out within 30 minutes- i had to call about 4 times to get a refund, i finally did but it was for $650.00- i asked why and i was informed there is a $350.00 admission fee.. i was never told of this.. i i s/w Leah several times regarding this $350.00- she then told me that because i was never told about this non refundable fee and because a contract was never signed (because my son left within 30 min), she would refund the additional $350.00. of course that didn't happen, i received a text from Leah saying that because the admission fee wasn't collected on the first admission they wont be able to refund it from the second admission...what!?!?, my son was never admitted twice-- he only went the one time-- and now they are just saying a flat out no! just be fair warned if you are trying to admit here, watch out for your money-- they do whatever is needed to take it from you and nothing to give it back if you don't actually stay there. read more
