I came in ten min before 3 PM and the items I'd left were already packaged for quick exit. I said that our new puppy was outside in the car so I wanted to scoot. But the mngr., Mark invited her in. (There was nobody else in the store; I would NEVER presume. I wouldn't even come to the door and ask to bring my dog inside since that's kinda manipulative.) We had a lovely short visit while hubby raved about the breed ~ Alaskan Klee Kai. Yes, I was nonplussed when employees didn't want to open door at 2:55 on a Sat a couple of weeks ago. I had such a wonderful experience today at Infinity Jewelers. I called them this morning to see if they could repair my platinum engagement ring that I had damaged over the weekend at the pool. My band was bent into more of an oval shape and one of the prongs was badly bent outward so my stone was about to fall out. They were able to repair my ring and actually make it look better than when I first got it. They did all of this in less than two hours and for a very reasonable price. They are really great people, and the jewelry repair they do is flawless! I took some antigue gold that my in-laws gave me and they gave it the royal treatment. When I got it back, I could not even tell where they did the repairs! And their prices are very, very reasonable. An elderly friend of our family brought in an amethyst ring in to be adjusted and cleaned. When she picked it up, the salesperson told her that they cleaned it over a sink, and the stone went down the drain. But don't worry ... they replaced the stone. The elderly woman didn't know what to do, so she accepted the ring with the replacement stone and left. ***** NO jeweler would ever clean jewelry over a sink! ***** No jeweler would be that careless - the stone was either lost or intentionally replaced. I see nice reviews of this jeweler on this site, but there is no good excuse for what happened to this lady. (The lady did not ask me to post this review and does not know that I did it.
