Dad received strawberry, apple and chocolate candy tray for Father's day...2 of the 4 chocolate covered strawberries had mold on them (tray is less than 24 hrs and was refrigerated.) When the Cottman Ave store was called they wanted us to bring in the bad strawberries to be replaced...they advised they could not replace the whole tray and a discount credit was not an option. Not only did they deliver the wrong package to my mother for Mother's Day, but had the nerve to ask for the fruit back 24 hours later (in the midst of a global pandemic) to THROW IT AWAY?! in order for the correct one to be delivered - what a waste. Also, how rude customer service to call my mother explaining they needed it back (after we had already spoken with them) and say to her that "well you got a better package anyway," that not only makes her feel like crap, but us too. The other recipient who was supposed to receiver her edible arrangement most likely never received hers either. By the way, my mother loves in Philadelphia and the other delivery was for Jenkintown - that is not even close, so how that was mixed up is beyond me. It's not about the price, but receiving something special with the note (which my mother never received). We were told that we would have a follow up call from management the next day but never received a call - no money back, no correct order delivered... nothing. At this point it's just embarrassing/laughable for this company. Was Charged but NOTHING was Delivered! I have ordered fruit baskets/trays multiple times from here, for myself and others. Yesterday, I ordered a tray, balloons, cupcakes, and a card to be delivered to my cousin's house; as she just returned home from having surgery. Today, after I checked the tracking information and saw that the items were marked delivered, I reached out to my cousin to verify she received the items. My cousin did not receive the items, and checked her security cameras to see if someone may took them. Cameras verified that no Edible Arrangements delivery was made. Needless to say, we reached out to the store in charge of the order. A representative informed us that they would reach out to the driver and that they've never had an issue like this before. Hours later, with no word back from the store, I call again. Once again, was told that they needed to reach out to the drive. How long does it take to call a driver? I can acknowledge that I have never had this problem in all my years of ordering from Edible Arrangements. However, today customer service is seriously lacking. At this point, the fruit was supposed to arrive yesterday. If it's still on the driver's truck, won't it be wilted/not fresh by the time it arrives. The Cotman Ave. Location closes at 5pm and still haven't heard back about this issue and it's 4:55pm. I expect better when paying these prices. read more

First time, was good which is the reason why I gave them another shot.... bad decision. SEVERAL REASONS: The order was not on time, delivery man gave my order to random stranger because he was too early and no one was there to receive it, manager was not understandable, found mold on one of my grapes, I was told one thing and they did the other, just a complete disappointment. If I could i would give this place 0 stars, they are so rude and unprofessional. I placed an order for Valentine's Day and needed to add a name to the card that I forgot. So I called them up and they said that they couldn't do it, so I asked why no and the person I talked to said "Because", no other reasonable response. I asked again and she then said because it's computer generated, so I asked her to just write on it with a pen and she once again said she couldn't just because. At this point I was annoyed as all hell and asked again and she said "Let me check with my manager.", comes back 5 minutes later and says "They said no.". You seriously can't write on the card with a pen? So then I ask for the manager who is also very rude and he says that the delivery is on the van already and nothing can be done about it. Now this is first thing when they opened and the delivery isn't even for another couple of hours, why couldn't you go out to the van with a pen and write on the card? It's not that hard to do, you are in the customer service business you accommodate the customer to the best you can! I can understand that if they van had already left to go out for delivery, but it was sitting in the parking lot or if I was asking for a completely different arrangement change. I will NEVER purchase from this store ever again! Also the customer service line wasn't any help at all, I called them up and got hung up on the first time and then I called back, was on hold for 10 minutes while they talked to the store manager and they didn't even get anywhere with the manager. The first time was the death of my best friend's mother. They were heinous. We placed an order on Oct 20 for a basket to be delivered as a get well gift. We found out on Oct 27 it was never delivered. We called and talked to a very rude Nisha who said 2 attempts were made to deliver and notes were left. Their policy is NEVER TO REFUND and they would not deliver this package again, the recipient would have to pick up. The next day we talked to the manager, Caesar. Both he and Nisha refused to give last names, which from experience tells me they have had many complainrs and problems. He said they would deliver and was finally received on Oct 30 TEN DAYS LATER. We of course will never use again since -they lied about leaving failed delivery notices -were very rude on the phone (we never raised our voices or threatened) -were extremely embarrased that it took ten days for a delivery. read more

Ordered an arrangement of chocolate covered strawberries and when it was opened three days later, the strawberries were moldy and falling apart as the thin layers of chocolate slid off into the basket. Absolutely horrible. When I tried to call and complain, it was an automated system telling me to leave a message only to be told their voicemail was full. Had to talk to the corporate office to get a refund and instead was told it had to be eaten within 24 hours (nothing on the package said anything about that). The next day, received an e-mail telling me I would have to bring the rotten arrangement to the store the following morning to get another arrangement. Never ordering from here again. read more

I have used this location 3 times all together. The first 2 ties I ordered online and had them delivered. They were on time and i got many many thanks from the people I ordered them for, they even sent me pictures. The pictures looked great. The last time I used them was just a few days ago and I walked in hoping to jut pick one up. I did end up getting one and it was beautiful and delicious! My only bad review would be the selection. Once I opened the box I knew immediately that the strawberries were not fresh. The leaves were old, dried out and turning brown; not to mention tasting bad. The Order No. given me was invalid. While the young lady who answered the telephone was not rude she was very unprofessional. I attempted to file a complaint online but did not have the correct Order No. which no one seems to have or know. The quality of EA products has dropped considerably. I ordered a basket for valentines day with the intention of it actually being delivered ON VALENTINES DAY. I called the following morning after nothing was delivered and all the store manager could say is "We have the order, we just never made it". Not even an offer for a discount or anything. Later on in the day it was finally delivered but didn't seem as though it was being stored at the right temperature. Now one day after the late delivery my wife found mold on one of the strawberries. I order from EA CONSTANTLY and have spent thousands of dollars here. Despite that fact, I got absolutely NO HELP when my order wasn't delivered. It was for my best friend, on the death of her mother. They said they'd delivered it and had a signature. She was home all day and not a knock from EA, so I don't know who they delivered it too. But when I called, assuming they would simply redeliver, they actually suggested I get a handwriting sample from my grieving friend WHO HAD JUST LOST HER MOTHER so they could compare it against the signature they got. The customer service is absolutely ABYSSMAL. I appealed to the main customer service at EA and they couldn't help either. Never ordering from any EA again, and certainly not from this location. This location is extremely "Unprofessional". I ordered a gift of chocolate strawberries for my significant other for their birthday as a surprise to their work. And mind you I added an exact address, directions, and specific notes on how to get this package to this location. Not to mention a specific time. Well! The gift NEVER showed up. I called customer service and they were extremely rude and were very unhelpful. They "Claimed" the gift was attempted to be delivered. And when I called my significant others work they confirmed that "No deliveries" were made since early that morning. So now what am I supposed to believe? The manager was young. I have nothing against that, but what ever the credentials or necessary skill set you need to become a manager of an "Edible Arrangements" I am sorry to say this, but you need retraining. Or at the very least re hire or re train your staff. Because I am not the only one who has had had experiences with this location. I give this location ONEA STARS! I have never had a problem with Edible Arrangements until I dealt with this location. I wish they had a zero star option. The pineapple still had the rind attached, some of fruit was not ripe for eating. I called the store and the employee who answered the phone was lost in space, couldn't answer any questions, lied, said she could not contact the manager, was there by herself. Then in the next sentence all of a sudden she could reach the manager. After finally reaching the manager, I could understand why the employee was so unprofessional, she gets it from the boss. They wanted me to return the poor arrangement to them. Not. I called the main customer service number and found out that the arrangement was lacking in all the pineapple daises that it should have contained. This arrangement only had 10 daises and customer service said it should have had 15 to 17. Called back to the store, spoke again to Mr. Unprofessional cheater of the product. After much going back and forth and letting him know I knew what was supposed to be in the arrangement. They lately delivered a new arrangement and took the disgraceful arrangement back.
