My husband and I were staying at the Residence Inn so just ran up there to grab a bite to eat after we saw it was right there in the hotel. It was very good. Nice view as well with all the windows. I got the chicken club sandwich which was very good and my husband got the hamburger that was voted best in town (sorry, can't remember the name-it had brisket, jalapeno slaw and queso on top) and he said it was excellent and could see how it was voted best in town. I had great hopes that I would be enjoying a delicious lunch after seeing the stunning space. Unfortunately, nothing could have been further from the truty. I thought a Cesar salad with a cup of housemade chili would be just the ticket on a cold and rainy day. I am not sure how any restaurant could mess up those 2 food items, but this restaurant managed to do just that. The Cesar salad contained mostly romaine lettuce spines with a rather flavorless dressing, overdone with too many dry crouton and no parmesan cheese in sight. The chili was lukewarm and cloyingly sweet. Our server was as passive a server as I have ever had waiting on me, and seemed to care less about any specials the restaurant might have to offer. I went with a party of 2 after the UK game on a Saturday night. We were sat at a table fairly quickly but the service was terrible. Our waitress told us the bar was backed up so it would be awhile for our drinks. Our appetizer came out and we finished it before we ever got our drinks. 30 minutes later still no drinks and our waitress never came by to check on us. We met friends here( 8 of us total) for supper. He ambience is coo. Definitely a good vibe. The drinks from what I could see were pretty and from what my friends said, tasty ( I don't drink). The food is good as well. I had the chicken Caesar and it's a good size and tasty. I tried one of the deviled eggs and it was very good- although in general I'm a purest. But fancy deviled eggs every once in a while is nice. But the service was something else. Our server was awful. We had to ask her ( if felt like begging) for everything and when it came time for checks it was easy, 2,2,2,2. We gave her our credit card xs and she came back with four tabs and tossed hem on the table and left. Like here ya go, work it out for yourself! So maybe there needs to be a refresher course in customer care. To be clear we weren't a demanding group or made her run for something to every time she came to the table, idk maybe she was having a hard night. I can sum up the experience in one simple word: rude! If I had to use another, it would be unprofessional. The situation was so bad that my dinner companion and I decided to leave, even though we didn't have a reservation elsewhere. The culprit was one particularly hostile employee named Blakelee who chose to escalate a dispute involving her mistake rather than resolving it in a courteous and amicable way. The manager Jonah was very pleasant and professional in attempting to resolve the matter, but by that time the damage was done. I realize that there is an employee shortage and many restaurants have to tolerate rude or incompetent staff. But they might want to reassess the cost-benefit of this particular employee. Fortunately, we were taken in by the restaurant ItalX right downstairs and had an INCREDIBLE meal with wonderful service. I highly recommend the kale caesar salad and the beef carpaccio. The sausage agnolotti is to die for. And be sure to order the Casale Ciliani Primitivo wine. Pure bliss. In the end, we are grateful for the Infinity Bar for inadvertently upgrading our meal. This ambiance and view is amazing and the food is really good. However the sacrifice of service isn't worth the other valued aspects. We have been here multiple times and every single time we run into some other random service issue, but generally speaking it takes way too long to get service and to get in and out even for a drink. I have been there at different times of day and have never found them to be overly busy and I have made a number of excuses given it was a new place. However the time to adjust and have the service up to a competitive level to the local Lexington bar and restaurant scene has since passed. The lack of good service is unexplainable and I can no longer understand the deficiencies. The food is really good and I have a couple of favorites (including the pork rinds) but be prepared for a long wait to get drinks a long wait to get service and a long wait to get your check to leave. read more

We had a skinny female , black haired server, honestly TERRIBLE service, maybe the worst I've ever had. In the the two hours I was there, the waitress served every table except mine ( we watched , we were obviously being rejected ) . The ambiance here is very nice, we came at sunset and the downtown looked beautiful! That's really most of the good we have to say. The food was good, on par with an average restaurant, but nothing absolutely spectacular. However, service was So SLOW. We were given waters promptly upon ordering them, but waited nearly 45 minutes for our food and then waited nearly 30 minutes after finishing to see the waitress for a check. Random things ordered in between (more drinks, extra ranch) were 5-15 minutes in making it to the table. One of the meals was ordered with a salad for the side and the meal came out with fries- we asked for the salad and the person who delivered it to the table told us to keep the plate and she would bring the side salad. So we did, and the salad was brought like 5 minutes later. Then, we were charged for the salad and the server didn't have an explanation except that it was only a $3 charge. No, this was not an extra cost side item and should not have been on the bill. Another member in the party mentioned it and she finally realized what had happened and did take that charge off. We never got water refills- I finally asked for more after almost all of our food was finished and she brought 3, not 4, not enough for all of us. There were no apologies for the excessive waits or any type of discounts on our bill to reflect it. I'm sure this is management and not the server's fault, and we are not blaming her. But for the cost of the food and the atmosphere of the place, I would expect much more. read more

The drink, fries and veggies from the beer cheese were the only good things about my meal. The midnight kiss was great. The Prosecco balances out the dryness of the gin. The beer cheese didn't taste remotely like cheese. It tasted like the worst hummus in the world. I like hummus but this was disgusting. The bluegrass burger I didn't even finish more then a quarter of it. There's no steak knives and it's hard to cut in half with a butter knife because of the bacon. The bottom bun on one half completely ripped apart during my splitting of the burger. Then they burger started falling apart from I could only guess would be grease. Also I ordered a medium burger and it was more medium rare so that's why I barely ate it. I don't like my burgers to moo. I ended up leaving still hungry. Was excited to go here with my friends so I eagerly made a reservation 4 days before. I spoke to the manager and my reservation was confirmed. We show up on Thursday at our correct time and they have lost our reservation. They tell us that since they have other reservations coming in that we cannot sit together. We are one of the reservations coming in so why weren't we treated like it? They also told us they had other reservations coming in later so we needed to be done before they came in. The waitress was grumpy looking but otherwise a good server. The food was mediocre at best. They forgot my side and when they brought it out my asparagus was not seasoned at all. Yuck. Menus are paper, there was garbage on table from previous diner, service is slow, with no reason as the place was almost empty on a Saturday night. Prides itself on being high end because of the rooftop location but is very sub par. The food was so bad we left after a couple bites. My fiancé even called his food gross. Mine was unappetizing and we both left hungry. We ordered prime rib and shrimp tacos and both were poorly cooked and did not taste right at all. Had to search for our waitress just to get our check so we could leave. Drinks were watered down. We will never be going back. I've had better bar food. This place needs to invest in a chef and not just a mediocre cook if they are going to compete with other fine dining in the area. Disappointed and wasted time and money. I never leave reviews but this was so extremely disappointing that I felt it was necessary. First, if you want to go somewhere that is practicing covid-19 safe guidelines, this is not the place to go. Every server was wearing their mask under their nose, my server pulled down her mask multiple times when speaking to us, and several bartenders pulled down their masks when making drinks. Now, to what really made this experience so terrible. Let me first say that I spent several years working in the service industry myself, so I am quick to give the benefit of the doubt to most servers. However, the way I was treated at this bar was much worse than simply bad service. As soon as we arrived, our server acted disinterested, as if simply taking our drink order was a massive burden. After we got our first round of drinks, she did not come back to check on us for over thirty minutes. I finally flagged her down and asked if I could order a second drink. She told me that I was cut off and scurried away without an explanation. She sent over a man to speak with our table and we asked why we were getting cut off when we each had only had one drink and a shot over the course of an hour and a half. We were all completely sober and not doing anything wrong or obnoxious. He said it was because when we first arrived, my friend spilled her water. We told him we were simply clumsy, not drunk and said that we didn't feel this was a fair way to speak to us. We were calm and nice, but we told him that this reaction was blowing the spill way out of proportion. He told us "With that attitude" we need to get out. We accepted that, but wanted to speak with a manager before we left. However, the manager avoided us completely, couldn't even make eye contact with us. They should be extremely embarrassed that their manager is not willing or capable of solving a simple problem. Every staff member we interacted with was disrespectful to us. Before last night, I recommended this bar/ restaurant to anyone who would listen. The atmosphere was amazing and the drinks were so good. But last night, the server was so rude I'm not sure I'll go back. When we first arrived, our server was stand-offish and didn't seem to want to serve us. Any time we wanted anything, a drink (we had one drink and one shot) or questions, she avoided us. When we finally got her attention, she told us that we needed waters because she assumed we were drunk since my friend accidentally knocked over her water. She sent the bar manager over to cut us off and let us know that we could leave. We were very confused and hurt. Any time we tried to flag down the manager and have a conversation, she avoided us.
