Ford's Garage in Lexington absolutely delivered. The food was excellent, everything came out hot and fresh, and the portions were more than generous. You can tell they're putting some effort into the food instead of relying on the cool Ford theme to carry the place. The burgers are seriously good, cooked right and full of flavor, and the onion rings are definitely worth ordering. Everything we tried tasted fresh and well prepared. Service was just as impressive. Friendly, attentive, and on top of things without constantly hovering around the table. And then there's the atmosphere. If you're into cars, especially classic Fords, you could probably spend half the meal just looking around. The vintage cars, engines, gas station details, and garage theme are extremely well done. Even the bathrooms are part of the experience, which is a sentence I never expected to include in a restaurant review. It's just a fun place with genuinely good food and great service. Ford's Garage could easily get away with being a novelty restaurant, but the food is good enough that I'd come back even without all the automotive stuff. Ford's Garage has become a favorite of mine in their short time in Lexington. I have been in quite a few times, and order delivery regularly, and I just love their unique burgers. The place is fun and clean, you have to see it at least once. It will be busy, so be prepared to wait. A pro tip: download their app and reserve at least one day ahead if you plan to come in on the weekend. You can only make a reservation over 24 hrs in advance. My favorite dishes are the buffalo chicken dip, the octane burger, and their brookie dessert. The drinks, at least the cocktails, are very strong. I have to admit I have not liked any of the ones I have tried, but if you're looking for good drink value, definitely try here. Parking is also hard to get nearby, so be ready to walk. My husband and I had the best burgers we have had before. And that is saying a lot because we are real foodies. We both had the Empire Burger-mine cooked medium rare and his medium. Perfect! The fries were already peppered, which were amazing. We sat at the bar and Tyler greeted and served us upon arrival. I was blown away by the line of ice that went around the bar for drinks to sit on to stay cold. I have never seen this before and love the concept. The decor was really cool. The wheels on the car suspended from the ceiling above the bar moved. Occasionally the old car horn would honk and smoke would come out of the rear of the vehicle. I loved how shop rags were the napkins! Honestly, I found they work better than typical cloth napkins. These were soft and more absorbent. I enjoyed all the garage decorations, including how they were incorporated into the restroom doors and sinks. We live about an hour from Lexington, but when we have a reason to head this way again, we are returning! And the prices were good. My husband and I ate for less than $50 and that was with my two Garage Beer drafts. Usually our bill is more than that. read more

We arrived during happy hour and took full advantage of the menu, ordering several appetizers along with a burger and beer combo, plus a kids' meal. Every single item was delicious. What really stood out was the service. The kitchen manager, Colton, stopped by our table multiple times and was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. Our server Toni E. was just as attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. She was on top of every little detail and ensured we had the best time and that both of our children were happy throughout the visit. The atmosphere is lively, fun, and very family-friendly. We were celebrating a child's birthday, and the staff, especially Toni, went above and beyond letting both kids honk the horn on the car hanging from the ceiling (a huge hit!) and bringing out plenty of ice cream for the birthday celebration. I drove from Louisville KY to dine here which makes no sense Lexington doesn't have two major Ford manufacturing facilities like we do but they get the restaurant dedicated to " Ford " probably good for me because I would be eating here way too much ! I went to Ford's Garage this afternoon and had a magnificent time. My wife and I arrived around 2:30 in the afternoon and we were immediately captivated by the antique Ford vehicles on the front sidewalk. The door handles to the restaurant are gas pump handles. This place has atmosphere galore. Our server was Angel and she was on point. Welcoming us, asking if we had been in before and making excellent suggestions regarding menu options. They have a superb selection of burgers, steaks, ribs, chicken and seafood entrees. They even have a tempting meatloaf and a hearty macaroni and cheese offering. My wife loves Monte Cristo sandwiches and they have a good one. You can download their app on your phone to earn rewards points and I received a free appetizer on my first visit- it was my birth month. The staff was extremely friendly and quick to offer assistance if we had any questions. If beer is your thing this place has more beers than you can imagine. On tap or otherwise they have the beer you have been looking for as well as a full bar. The only challenge I found was parking. They have a big lot but in the middle of the afternoon I had to drive around a bit to get a spot. They just opened a few weeks ago so that might be why it was so crowded that early. The prices were anywhere from $11 to $25 per entree and they had plenty of add on sides and appetizers that would increase your bill. I saw patrons of all ages and there are multiple televisions with sporting events to enjoy while having a great meal with friends and family. Check them out soon. read more

Ford Garage just opened near Fayette Mall. It's very chic vintage ford vehicle vibes. The inside is decorated so nicely and the bathrooms are extremely unique you have to make a stop in there when ya go. I had to get the fords burger and that thing was huge. Very good quality meat. This is a great place for anyone who is car-obsessed, especially old Fords. The interior is really a shrine to Henry Ford, with engines on display and and tires used as sinks (really cool idea BTW). It is wild and definitely makes a statement, but the onion rings themselves are amazing - so crisp and delightful The Ford's Pickles (Crispy, Hand-Breaded Pickle Spears in a Panko Crust with Cucumber Wasabi Dipping Sauce) were 100% the winning item, so crisp they shattered, absolutely delicious and the sauce was bangin! Now I might be alone in this, but I think peanut butter and bacon on a burger is incredible and so decadent, so when i saw the Jiffy Burger (American Cheese, Applewood Smoked Bacon, Lettuce, and Creamy Peanut Butter on a Brioche Bun) on the menu I had to get it. Also the server went on and on so much about their burgers it seemed almost wrong to come all this way and not get it. However, the burger was just standard. It didnt wow me in any way, and that is with the peanut butter! My husband and I had visited a Ford's Garage in Orlando, Florida and really enjoyed it, so we were excited that they had opened a location in Lexington. If you enjoy old cars and fun decor, you will really enjoy the way they have decorated the restaurant, including antique cars outside and hanging over the bar, tires for bathroom sinks, and the piston they serve the onion ring appetizer on. I will say that when we visited they were quite busy, but we only had to wait about 15 minutes for a table. For a starter we both ordered the French onion soup. It was delicious! For our entrees my husband had the brisket burger with onion rings and I had the estate burger. He enjoyed his burger and said there was a good amount of brisket on it. As for the onion rings, there is a $5.99 mark up for the premium side, and he only received about 6 onion rings. We did not think that was a good value for the mark up price. My estate burger was tasty. I ordered it medium, but it was quite a bit pinker inside than I prefer. However, it was not worth complaining about, and I still enjoyed it. The fries were hot and a great compliment to the burger. Service was good, and they were quite busy, but there is some room for improvement. We requested a couple items (extra lemons and a new bottle of ketchup) that we did not receive. Not to worry, we still enjoyed the experience. This is a great new addition to the Fayette Mall area and we look forward to visiting again soon. read more

My toddler was obsessed with the car on display at the bar and when the bartender noticed her staring at it, they hit the button to activate the noises and motion. They have a large kid's menu which is perfect for picky eaters. I ordered their green and clean burger and it was perfection. Our waitress could tell our child was in a mood because she was hungry and brought her food out almost immediately . She was very attentive even with the busy level at an all time high.
