Loved this place. Was visiting Lexington for an academic conference. The food and service were great. The rooftop view was perfect!

To start with the view and ambiance are amazing along with the live music. Those are the high points, we waited 15 before we had a waiter come to our table, the fried green tomatoes were lackluster with too much breading and lacked flavor. My wife's bluegrass burger lacked flavor and was over cooked. My buffalo chicken wrap was excellent. Our desert was just OK. In summary everything except my wrap was just Ok. read more

Traveling through and wanted a place to eat on a Monday afternoon. Many places are closed or open later on Mondays. The Marriott Residents Inn might not be the place you think to go eat in downtown Lexington, but after a recommendation for #1 burger this is where we went. The accolades are true. Infinity Rooftop Restaurant and Bar not only is a beautiful indoor/outdoor space with open air and comfortable table and bar space, the burger lives up to its honor. Very cute place on the top of building on W Main. Pretty views but food was average. I hear the drinks are good, so I'd come back to try those. Service was also OK but definitely not great. For the aesthetics, I'd recommend you come here but for an actual restaurant experience maybe not! read more

We went for dinner. The server seemed a bit distracted and told awhile to bring our drinks from the bar. Seemed like the staff all works well together and supports each other which is nice to see. Food was good. Burgers left a bit to be desired but the chicken was great! read more

Not a good experience. I was "greeted" by a hostess who seemed bored and distracted. She seated me facing the servers' cleanup area; when I shifted around to the other side of the table I could see the famous view. And then I was handed a pale photocopied menu that looked like they'd copied a copy. (Why can't they afford to print those?) My salmon was delivered without a single pleasantry. The fish was grossly over-cooked, and the orzo and asparagus underneath it were cold. After I sent it back (tonight I was that person) they did better the 2nd time. But when I finished, nobody offered to comp me a dessert or add any other small touch of kindness to make up for the previous shortcomings. Marriott should be embarrassed. My friend and I went here for a birthday celebration a couple of weeks ago. Restaurants and bars and recently reopened and this was the first time we ventured out. I have to say Infinity is a wonderful restaurant and cocktail spot! They have tables spaces appropriately and clean every single one immediately when someone leaves. It's also spacious so you're not super in close contact with others. The staff are super friendly and helpful. They are also accommodating. There is a beautiful rooftop terrace you can sit and enjoy the beautiful view of downtown Lexington. The drink selection is nice. I opted for a house Chardonnay. They also have several specialty cocktails. The prices were reasonable for the complexity of the cocktails and ambiance of the restaurant. We will definitely be back soon! read more

What a waste of a great space. Group of 7. The drinks took an eternity to come out, and there was a full 15-minute spread between when the first drink was handed to the table and the last person got their drink even though we all ordered at once. They lost two out of five people's tickets for the food, and the manager approached her table and asked what we were missing because she had no open tickets in the kitchen at that time. We let them know and that food did come out about 10 minutes later. I tried the short rib nachos that was a table appetizer, and I ordered the shrimp tacos. The nachos were good but extremely spicy, more so than about anywhere I've ever eaten. Same thing for the shrimp tacos, the spicy aioli was extremely spicy compared to what you will find at 99% of other places. I will say the watermelon-based drink ordered was absolutely fantastic. Two stars for the location, or server who is extremely nice but stuck with a clearly flawed and messed up system, and the overall vibe and decor. read more

What a welcome addition to Lexington! The view is spectacular, service spot on, drinks appropriately priced and the shareables were tasty! Highly recommend! Perfect for a date night or just friends gathering together. It was comfortable and spacious. We literally spent 2.5 hours here and really enjoyed the people-watching and ambiance. We did see a few young children here which really did not seem very appropriate in the evening. It is more of a bar atmosphere with small plates. Pro tip: get here for sunset it is even more amazing. Drink menu is one of the best in Lexington, Strawberry kiss, can't go wrong....deviled eggs are amazing...sweet corn, not so much, really not sure what they are going for with this one. It's very spicy and it's basically a bowl of corn with jalapeños and scallops...might be better with some bread or something but not great as a stand alone. read more

Came here with high hopes. Honestly, I am the one who suggested that we go here. The ONLY thing this place has going for them is that it's BRAND NEW and THE VIEW! That's it. The servers were great, one of the managers even came to check on us, there was one manager that stayed down our throat and made the experience terrible. I understand that we are in times of COVID. But don't come to me with Covid regulations when we're dining with TWO Public Health Officer's at the table. The things they were saying we understand they may be their rules, but the way they were relayed is that they came from the state where everyone has to abide by. Again, if we are here with state officials, then I am sure we know and understand the regulations surrounding Covid. Ok Covid aside, lets talk food... its bland at most. This is not a luxury dining experience. The only thing that got good reviews among our group was the Chicken lollipops. They were ok, everything else was not seasoned. Can we just get some salt please? Then only thing that actually had salt on it was the fries. As I stated before the only thing going for them is THE VIEW! THAT'S IT! This was a really neat place to grab a bite to eat! I went at night, so it was dark outside, but I bet it's beautiful when the sun sets later in the day. My friend and I shared the beer cheese platter, the chocolate cake, and chef's dessert (pumpkin cheesecake with praline). With the beer cheese we got an array of food items to dip with: pita chips, carrots, cucumbers, celery, and peppers. The desserts were so yummy and hit the spot. My husband wanted to go somewhere with a view for our Anniversary and we were limited on time, so this spot seemed like the best option. Ambiance is pretty cool & different. One side seems to be for bar/dining. The other had more comfortable seating with TVs to hangout & watch sports. Cool views overall. Server was hip & young...friendly but not very attentive. I told her we were here for our Anniversary (will reference later). Thankfully I ordered our appetizers quickly because it was a long wait before she refilled our drinks & checked back in. Appetizers were good, our favorite was the chicken lollipops. Deviled eggs were ok, but I could tell the eggs were not fresh. Our main meal choices were BBQ Burger with fries and Chicken & grits. Hubby said the burger wasn't seasoned and was undercooked to what he asked. Fries were good. My dish was just sad...no flavor! I couldn't even enjoy I was so disappointed. The sauce on top of the grits was bland. Server finally checked on us and I informed her that meal was not good she was understanding and apologized. I told her it wasn't her fault. She offered to replace but nothing was very appealing after my grits experience. Remember I had informed her it was our Anniversary right? No offer or surprise dessert like most service-focused places...that was another disappointment. They also were out of to go lids for hubby's Lemonade. Arrived for drinks. Seated by hostess Waited. Servers walk by, stop at the table next to us. Chat with them. Manager walks by. Hostess walks by. Twenty five minutes later no water even. Meanwhile a group seated twenty minutes after us have water... We leave walking by the hostess who doesn't seem to notice. The place was not crowded. My husband and I visited Infinity Skybar and Cafe with my in-laws for Sunday brunch and it was great! It's on the 8th floor of the City Center. It wasn't very crowded, which was nice! I had reservations, but it really wasn't necessary. We were seated by a window with a great view of downtown! I was pleased with Covid precautions. Hand sanitizer was provided as soon as you exit the elevator and all staff members were wearing masks. While preparing drinks or carrying food to the table, I noticed waitstaff wore gloves. My mother-in-law and I ordered mimosas. The mimosas were relatively flat and didn't have a lot of "bubbly" quality to them, which was a huge bummer. My husband ordered the BLT with a side of potato salad and said it was great, but wish the BLT had more than two pieces of bacon on it, he did love the potato salad. My father-in-law ordered the fired chicken club with a side of potato salad, and the chicken was a little burnt, but overall pretty good. My mother-in-law ordered the Buffalo chicken wrap with a side of fries and she loved it. I ordered the grilled cheese with a side of fries and it was phenomenal! INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS FOOD! My thanks go out to Chef Sean who prepared two succulent meals for us in what turned out to be a great dining experience. The Steak Frites were cooked to perfection, the Pasta Primavera had authentic Italian flair, and the French fries were highlighted with an original blend of cheeses and seasonings. Great new place for Downtown Lexington! We were lucky enough to get a reservation last minute at 7:00pm on a Saturday night. Parking is available in the garage and then it's a maze to find your elevators to get you up to the 8th floor. It's a cool vibe with music and large screen TVs. It's definitely a night club/bar scene but they have accommodated the downstairs to turn this into a semi-restaurant with small plates and a few main dishes available (see menu attached). They seated us in a couch next to a wall TV. We had a coffee table in front of us but still a little awkward for dinner so we opted for just drinks and appetizers. The chicken lollipops were delicious with Buffalo sauce and blue cheese. The served it with pickled onions and pickles on top. We also got the deviled eggs that were ok. Big portions of each plate for $8 each. I highly recommend this place for friends to hang out or for entertaining out of town guests, especially in the summertime when they are able to open the windows and sky roof. As we were waiting for a table (which the hostess estimated would be 10 minutes), we went to the bar for a drink. The first drinks we had here were well-made and we received friendly service. Since we were still waiting 40 minutes later, we ordered another drink from a newly arrived bartender, who was notably irritated and downright rude. Since we still did that have a table, we decided to eat at the bar and he was visibly not happy about that (rolled his eyes). But just as we were settling in, we asked the hostess if our table might be ready. She said yes, so my husband texted the rest of us to come to the table. The bartender barked at me that my husband had to come back to the bar to settle up. Fine (it's all in the same room). I then spoke to the manager about the rude treatment (unbeknownst to me my husband had already done so and the manager agreed the bartender could be rude but "he makes great drinks"). As we were getting seated, we were suddenly told that we could eat there, but we weren't going to be sold any drinks at the table. We left since we did not want to stay in a place that did not want us there. We ended up having a lovely meal with outstanding service at the nearby ItalX. The star is for the one drink and OK view. (Two in our group were planning to stay in Lexington for another night at this Marriott, but chose instead to leave town). read more

As no one had even looked our way. Waited 20 more minutes and no server even came over. Restaurant was not busy and multiple servers were on duty. Left due to not being serviced.
