This little gem is right in the heart of downtown Winfield, so that makes it super convenient for me. I actually first heard of this place from a friend of mine. It looks like a chic house on Winfield road, right before the tracks, so it's very easily missed. The first appointment I had I just needed to get a trim. Kandy was the stylist that cut my hair. I absolutely love what she did. She she actually listened to what I had to say, which is kind of a rarity when it comes to stylish salons. I really don't do a lot of "styling" on my hair. I don't, and won't, spend a whole lot of time in front of the mirror styling my hair every morning. I usually don't even dye my hair. I told Kandy that I really wanted something that would give me a little bit of volume and still keep some length, and something that I wasn't gonna have to spend 30 minutes in front of the mirror every morning to look good, she came up with a wonderful cut for me. She cut my hair in longer, soft layers and it looked fabulous! Now, we all know that your hair looks great the first day out of the salon and quickly turns back to "meh" the next day. I was pleasantly surprised in this case. My style actually held up pretty well and I didn't need to put any product in it! It remains that way to this day, going for regular visits. Everybody there is very sweet and helpful and not at snotty, which I experienced at several different upscale salons around the area. Infinity has a great environment, too. It has a kind of minimalist feel to it without feeling empty. It's not super crowded with a whole bunch of product, though they do carry Pureology as their house brand. I really like the set up in there. It makes it feel nice and open and relaxing instead of cluttered and busy. I have met probably everybody on staff and absolutely love every single one of them. I've had a couple of the other stylists there cut my hair since and they've all done a fabulous job. I even decided to go with some warm highlights last fall and it came out wonderful. The colorist made my hair look so natural. The place is very clean, relaxing, stylish, and all the employees are great. I would really recommend giving this place a try, even against some of the bigger salons in the area. They did a better job than my $130 haircut I had at a downtown salon for half the price. I have been going to Candy for years and have NEVER had a bad hair cut! Can't say enough about these ladies and I highly recommend the salon. I'm so happy I decided to finally come to this salon. Marybeth did a beautiful job on my hair color. My hair always pulls red but she got my hair to this amazing, rich, brunette color. Perfect for fall. Candy did a great job on my hair. I wanted a lob for the first time ever and she cut it perfect. I brought in a reference picture and they both nailed it perfectly. Infinity Salon is my new go-to for all things hair. Conveniently located in the "downtown" Winfield area near the train tracks, parking is free and easy to come by in the lot behind the salon. Their website lists prices and services available, and scheduling is easy, with lots of availability. The space is clean, welcoming and wonderfully sunny during the day. I cannot say enough good things about how well Jackie colored my hair. I came in with years' worth of dry, blonde highlights in my light brown hair. Jackie discussed her suggestion for evening me out while retaining tonal variance and implemented it flawlessly. My hair magically returned to its natural color, only shinier and richer, with subtle highlights showing through. My color is beautiful and I will be going to Jackie from now on. I also recommend Dora for a beautiful haircut. She's quick and friendly and does quality work. I wouldn't hesitate to schedule another cut with her. For a few highlights, a gloss treatment, and hair cut, my bill came out to $155 after tips - totally reasonable for that much quality work. The girls at Infinity Salon, were once Tricoci stylists. They are excellent. Candy and Jackie are the bomb. Their friendliness and expertise show in their precision when cutting and styling. I asked for specifics in doing my hair and they do an excellent job! Mary Beth is Awesome! She's very meticulous when it comes to color! She's great when it comes down to detail. She doesn't do her "own thing". She listens and definitely follows through on exactly what you're looking for. This fantastic salon just opened up in the fall in downtown Winfield. I actually followed one of the owners (Candy) from her previous place of employment to this salon because she is so talented- I have ALWAYS been satisfied with my cuts (for 2+ years now)- she pays attention to detail, listens to my concerns, and makes suggestions when I ask for them- she cares about her work and it shows!
