He gave me a quote on the phone (that was a comparable price) and promised someone would be out at 9 a.m. The guys were here at 8:37 a.m. to replace the water heater, which they did quickly. When they were turning the water back on, they said they thought water was on somewhere in the house and had me check my upstairs bathroom. Sure enough, the bathtub faucet was on and I couldn't turn it off. They fixed that, too, and were done before 10 a.m. Instead of running up my costs, they only did the repair work needed (replace the shower stem valve).
