There was one hiccup where the skylight did not quite fit so they had to cut a slightly larger hole and I was not charged extra for this unforeseen issue. They did a temporary fix which stopped the leak right away and then followed up to come back and redo the shingles to properly install them as it was not installed correctly by the contractor who installed it initially. They also patched several other spots on the roof and we haven't seen any leaks since even with heavy rainfall. Highly recommend.

MCR were very meticulous and perfectionists ("fineschmakers"). Hank was always pointing me to little things that needs to be taken care of and which they fixed. Examples include fixing some mortar cracks in the chimneys, replacing some roof boards, and dealing with the bay windows decorative roofing that required complex custom work in order to make them look nice. I strongly recommend MCR based on my experience.

David and Gilbert were there every step of the project. I live in the Santa Cruz mountains and David still made the time to travel almost every day to make sure our project was running smoothly. My wife and I are first time homeowners and I feel like David did a great job addressing all our concerns including all the heavily rotted wood that needed replacing. This summer (summer 2026), we had a tree branch fall on our ADU roof and caused some shingle and underlayment damage. Top Tier provided a decent quote to come out to repair the damage. The team repaired the damage within 30 minutes of arrival. There's a reason they are highly rated. You won't be disappointed in hiring Top Tier for your next roofing projects. I heard they now also have a gutter and downspout replacement team. We may use them for all our future gutter/downspout related projects.

Gilbert's estimate was 3 times the cost of the first estimate but Gilbert identified several areas of concern that the first roofers did not indicate. For example Gilbert indicated I needed a saddle around my chimney something that the original roofer never installed. Plus several other areas of concern. It took awhile to schedule everything by Gilbert kept me informed through out the process. The repair team was excellent and also kept me informed throughout the day. The repair person (Hob), took extensive pictures and showed me the before and after of each section repaired. I would highly recommend this business even though I thought they were a bit high on the estimate.. but quality of work was again excellent.

I…read morecalled 3 highly reviewed roofing companies in the Bay Area. 2 came out and gave me quotes, 1 no showed. Out of the 2 that came out, I choose to go forward with Apollo Roofing. I chose them for 2 major reasons. 1) they were going to deal with the scheduling of the removal and réinstallation of our solar panels. And 2) Shahar was so kind, informative, and honest during our consultation. He was through and kept us updated every step of the way. When our project finally started the crew were so respectful and kind! We found way more damage than we expected which resulted in our quote going up. However, due to Shahar being honest at the consultation we knew this was a possibility so it wasn't super shocking. The crew was great at cleaning up at the end of every day, which we appreciate as we have chickens, ducks, a puppy and cat as well as a child who are outside. When the project was done, there were a few concerns we had, we talk to Shahar and he quickly corrected and had the crew fix the items. Our roof is beautiful and will hopefully last many many years to come. I am thankful we went with Apollo Roofing and Happy Shahar was our project manager.

During the research process, the Los Gatos office staff was flexible and patient, and not pushy. They answered many questions and then sent their Project Manager, Bret, to check out our existing roof. Bret was THE BEST! Super knowledgable, provided great explanations/examples of different options that would fit w/in our budget, and again, was extremely patient w/ my questions. 2 DAYS! That's how long it took to take off my old roof and replace it w/ a brand new shingle roof! We had a new roof and gutter system installed and there were many color options for both. At the beginning of the process, they covered the pool to limit the amount of dust/debris that would fall into it and provided instructions about how to protect items in the house/garage. My neighbors were impressed at how quickly Bret's team worked. They were efficient, not excessively noisy (no loud radios), and respectful of the hours they worked. At the end of Day 2, the Los Gatos team cleaned up the yard, swept the area around the house, and (I think) even swept inside my garage - it looked cleaner than when they began. Follow-up included a walk around w/ Bret. He showed me pics of the roof and also scheduled the inspection (he handled all the paperwork too)! Between the research process w/ the Office Staff (Lisa in particular) and the actual work/post-work communication (Bret), Los Gatos made the whole process transparent and simple. A roof is a major investment, but I had confidence in Los Gatos b/c of how up front they were about costs and how quickly they responded to my questions as I was comparing quotes. Bret was courteous and was able to swing by the house in short order to provide his thoughts and suggestions. Bret was able to put together a bid within days and the bid was competitive. Once we signed the contract and submitted the deposit, the process began pretty quick with building permits and removal of the existing roof. From initial contact until the new roof was over our head, it took merely ~4 weeks, exactly what the contract had said!

They were able to assess our roof and what needed to be done and the lifetime of it. In our case it was for insulation though and they were able to insulate our attics very well to help conserve energy and keep the place warmer during winter and cooler during summer. They also helped us replace an extensively damaged flat roof in a very short amount of time. The owner has been in this trade for over 20 years so they have done a variety of jobs and a variety of buildings. It's good to know a small business like this has the experience and knowledge to make a solid product - one that they put their name onto. You know you found an excellent contractor when they are proud of their work and they stand by it. It's best to find contractors who measure twice and/or even thrice and cut once.

In response, they blamed one of their employees for leaving and had no idea about the project despite the whole team cc'd on every communication since the quote. Geovanny in particular demonstrated a complete lack of accountability and professionalism. He was curt and disinterested in his responses, offered no apology, and showed no consideration for the time and effort wasted on our end. When we asked for reassurance on the revised timeline and quote Geovanny simply told us that it was "not up for negotiation." It is doubtful that Q7 is interested in or values your business. With service this bad before they started work or got paid it is hard to imagine they would even pretend that you exist afterwards if an issue were to arise. EDIT: See business owner response below obfuscating rather than simply offering an apology and solution to ghosting the project without a single attempt to reach out about it. Evidence that this was not a one time accident but just business as usual
